Minecraft supports ray tracing in java, but they don't have an official for them, the community makes, just go search about SEUS PTGI, or CONTINUUM Shader, they are totally ray traced and are from java Bedrock on the other side, supports only ray tracing in win10, the other devices are going to have a message telling that you can't support ray tracing in your machine; also!: Bedrock has it's official ray tracing mode to activate, but doesn't support the community to make a ray traced shader, so they are limited only to the default Nvidia one, while java is full of different RTx shaders that you can choose based on your likes.
Actually, Mojang fucks with the bedrock community, u can't even make a decent mod with cool features in bedrock (now we kind of can, but still really limited and activating the experimental mode, wich shits ur entire world), but java even 10 years ago had mods that transformed the game into a complete another thing, a famous example is Avaritia or the Space System Mod; i remember that even in 2012 mods like that existed. And talking about shaders, bedrock edition even after receiving the RTX option, still can't even support dynamic shadows from shaders, EVEN THE MOST REALISTIC shader made by the BE Community doesn't have dynamic shadows or shapped shadows, and java with it's super open modding, had ultra realistic shaders even before people started caring about graphics, so yeah, u are totally wrong
Wrong point there, DLSS improves fps as it accually makes the resolution lower by one point (1080>720 or 1440>1080), and then uses the AI to upscale it
Yes, the actual pixels are lesser. BUT if you use dlss 2.0, you can actually see that the image resolve is clearer than the native resolution (quality mode) in most cases. I don't know what magic they use lol.
Well nvidia may suck when it comes to pricing but the AI inovations they are bringing to the table gets us more and more closer to Skynet :D Thumbs up for that lol
Its why i wait 2 gens to upgrade. I usually stick with 70 series (i run laptops) but i came from an i7-7700hq/GTX1070(not max q) from 2017 to an I7-12650h/RTX3060 (105watt) and i cant believe what has changed! TBH i really wasnt too impressed with the 20 series and my 1070 still held up fine. it was just my old 4 core 8 thread cpu that killed me lol. GREAT VID!!!!
I've shared a pc(r5 3600/ gtx1070) with my dad and now I'm building my first pc (not the first one I've build but the first one for me) with a i9 12900k and a rtx 3090 and it's really impressive what this beast can do
Good video, but the gag at 3:17 is kind of misleading. DLSS is basically trading sharpness for FPS. The game quality is slightly worse, but the resolution is still the same, and the fps get a huge boost (we’re talking 20-40%, or even more sometimes). The way this happens is by rendering at a lower internal resolution, and then using some fancy deep learning algorithms to upscale the result, using tensor cores, which are part of the RTX architecture. “DLSS: Quality” does reduce the amount of antialiasing artifacts, but makes everything a bit less detailed, like every other DLSS mode. So that’s not really an image improvement. In a way, RTX cards are better future proofed because they gain free FPS in quite some modern games. Not hating on GTX cards or anything, just sharing this cool piece of information about DLSS and AI upscaling.
The higher the resolution the higher the quality of DLSS. At 1080p it's pretty bad, but at 4k it brings a bit quality than native (with "DLSS: quality" preset). Also, you can add the filter of sharpening by DLSS settings in the game or nvidia filters
Hey now, Integrated Graphics have come a *long* way. Several years a go, I built my first PC. The IGP ran 1080p60 High on games that my previous PC's *dedicated* GPU struggled to run a consistent 720p60 Medium. While not particularly taxing games themselves, I was nonetheless impressed. The latest Integrated Graphics are undoubtedly more advanced.

Me with Intel UHD Graphics: i need to buy Galaxy Book Odyssey
Well, I am currently using GTX 1650 and I must say, it's a pleasure to watch it at work, looks like heaven.
It may not look good enough to proper gamers who have handled better but I come from a 9 year old Dell with 4 GB Ram, 2 GB integrated rubbish Graphics and 1.7 GHz processor where even NFS Most Wanted 2012 struggled at the lowest graphics. So to me, 1650 looks heavenly. ☺️
and i m stick with 970gtx

The difference is just between 8-15 fps. :)
5-10 or in some games no difference
40 to 50 fps is enough for me and 30 sometimes too

Tomb raider, call of duty mw2 and such,

"RTX mode"
*turns on non raytracing shaders in minecraft, a game not even supporting rtx (java)
it supports ray tracing tho ☻
Seus ptgi is a ray tracing shader
ptgi is ray tracing
Minecraft supports ray tracing in java, but they don't have an official for them, the community makes, just go search about SEUS PTGI, or CONTINUUM Shader, they are totally ray traced and are from java
Bedrock on the other side, supports only ray tracing in win10, the other devices are going to have a message telling that you can't support ray tracing in your machine; also!:
Bedrock has it's official ray tracing mode to activate, but doesn't support the community to make a ray traced shader, so they are limited only to the default Nvidia one, while java is full of different RTx shaders that you can choose based on your likes.
Me, who had a gt 710: yay, I can see my screen

Wrong point there, DLSS improves fps as it accually makes the resolution lower by one point (1080>720 or 1440>1080), and then uses the AI to upscale it
Yes, the actual pixels are lesser. BUT if you use dlss 2.0, you can actually see that the image resolve is clearer than the native resolution (quality mode) in most cases. I don't know what magic they use lol.

no regrets there
XD it really happened in 2022 almost all the games support dlss and ray tracing
