I absolutely love you as an actor bro but I'm so glad you're still a real person with your own real thoughts when it comes to horrible things like this.
I hate how it's so easy to make the good guy the bad guy and how it's so easy for finger pointing and blaming to cause such a huge distraction to what really matters. And these Kids are all that matters. Saving lives has no room for Ego. We need more men and women in the wold like this.

By political he means democrats, those were the only ones talking about Sound of Freedom in a stupid light. Didn’t see a single conservative say anything bad about it
The only reason Dems had any problem with the movie is because Jim Caviezel pushes the medieval adrenochrome conspiracy theory, plus we didn't need to watch a dramatized version of events to know that this is real. Look, this is the perfect example, the right spent the entire summer bashing dems for not watching the movie. Where are they now? Are they advocating as hard for the actual kids as they did hating on the left for not going to a movie? Going to a movie wasn't going to help those kids either. Plus the right never advocates for things like disaster relief in other countries when we know that bad actors come in to take orphaned kids. Our own foster care system is a disaster and it just gets funded and defunded in a never ending pendulum of budget tricks. One side wants to throw too much money at the problem, the other side wants no money so then when there is money there's no good systems and consistency in place to actually do any good. But sure, complain that we didn't go to a movie. That, again, will fix everything I'm sure.
I applaud any Hellyweird actor who attempts to see beyond the veil, but we are far beyond dipping a toe in the truth waters. If you're not full Alex Jones level revelation of the method truth by now then you've missed the boat and are WASTING our time. GET THERE AND GET BACK TO US WHEN YOU DO.

I don’t think Bernthal is a Trump supporter at all; he’s absolutely crapped on supporters, calling them “misguided”, if I remember correctly. His whole talking point in this podcast is that even if you don’t see eye-to-eye politically (like him and Locke, hence the reason he brought him on), Human Trafficking efforts should be recognized no matter which side you’re on; it’s not an issue of policy, and should be a vanguard effort…
But people, especially in America, enjoy the cycle of dishonesty and fallacious rhetoric, rather than transparent/honest criticism and long-term solutions. This is obviously more apparent on the right side of politics (all the social traps, fallacies, and dilutions to avoid solving the problem; think Ben Shapiro), but is also seen in some of the subdivisions of the left side as well (promoting/endorsing religious beliefs that are rooted in genocide, homophobia, xenophobia and sexism for the sake of inclusion; Islam, Christianity, and Judaism? It’s hypocritical).
Point is, there are a plethora of dishonest discussions from both sides of politics, but something like Human Trafficking is far too severe and inhumane to argue about; efforts from all ends should be considered admirable.
