I met Jon back around 2014 at a horror con. He didn't make anyone feel rushed and gave real authentic conversation to each and every person who waited in line that day. I'll always admire his mindset and way he attacks life. Big love to you & yours brother 💪

This was a tough one. We need to be aware as consumers what we buy an the effects it has on life... VETPAW is doing great work! These are beautiful emotional creatures that deserve your protection... Thank you.

This one is hard ASF . Hurts my soul deeply.. I love my dogs and would die or kill for them.. don't judge me they're my peace and have helped me with my addiction, for that my dogs will always have my loyalty and undying love.. I've become more patient and compassionate because of these beautiful beings . Thanks for this truly unselfish labor of Love 🙏

My favorite episode so far. Since childhood, I have always been into animals because of Animal Planet. I've set a goal to help wildlife and environment as much as possible.
I even made my cat an account which I'm using rn lol

Jon, love you as an actor. Your Hot Ones episode was one of my favorites because it gave me (and I assume a ton of other people) an emotional insight into your character and depth of empathy. Sending a sincere thank you for you starting this show.!

I work at VETPAW and wanted to thank you for the support! Poaching is a plight that lives below most people's radar but pervades all aspects of life. We are happy you found this to be eye-opening and we'll continue to make good on the wildlife in our daily operations! Have a great day!

So many thoughts on this one!
1)I deployed to East Africa for a year and have felt the odd contrast of locals needs versus their government’s wants versus the policies of the US. You want to do good but sometimes the mission makes you feel so isolated from the community off base. Great to hear above Vetpaws seeks to understand and support the rangers and local people; really meeting them where they’re at.
    2) So happy to hear Ryan’s story; using his skill set to make positive change. His description of stuffing down feelings only to have them surface thanks to that documentary is so common. I am a therapist as well as a Reservist and see many men and women deny feelings. I’ve been in that place too! It only hurts in the long run. It’s awesome he’s created an opportunity for fellow veterans to heal.
    3) Another great episode. Can’t wait for next week!

Onto your 1st point, fighting poaching in most of Africa is quite hopeless. The elephant in the room is the economics. People who earn less than $5 a day will not care about some wildlife that only captures the fascination of 'Wazungus' as per their perspective. Also, some of the politicians in these countries ate involved in poaching.

I'm a pilot here in the US, i've been looking into flying anti-poaching patrol in Africa. I do have an acquaintance whom I met in a flying group who flies anti-poaching patrol in Tanzania. He's a ranger and the government funded his flight training. I've visited Africa and like it there, I really want to find more information about how to get involved. I'm also very interested in flying in the Amazon, but no luck as of yet.

Find the customers for these products, "make sure that customers for these types of inhumane, soulless products no longer exist", and you can end poaching. Protect animals, end poachers, end customers. Problem solved.

@@walterbackgammon8436 I can tell you, from day one (the kinessa Johnson fiasco) Ryan Tate and this vetpaw have been the greatest scam in conservation history.... My family and friends are the world's largest international donors for rhino security and conservation for over 30years years now. Ryan has claimed he trains rangers, this is impossible, they have never met a ranger and a ranger is already trained... their bush skills surpass any marine that's for sure, and would be vetpaws protection, vetpaw couldn't teach a ranger a thing. Vetpaw claim to antipoaching operators, this is also impossible.... Anything goes on a fened in, private hunting farm, you can pretend to be anything.... all the money donated goes into Ryan's deep pockets ... he is a scum bag and needs to arrested for fraud.
