Char char char. I love char. Good to see you get on them. Even the more better viewing it on Father's Day. As it was my father that got me started and it was on trout streams.
I watched this video a good while back, but I love the brook trout so much--I had to return. I lived in Geogia while at the University in grad school from 1972 -1975. I would go up whenever possible and cach rainbows, brown, and brookies. My favs were the brookies.
Finally subscribed....viewed a few and found myself, and my dog, Miss Susie, fishing at Copper last week. ( i yak fish for LMB) First time since mid 80's, so i was ill prepared but thoroughly hooked. So i gues i should thank ya for the Inspiration ! Back to my roots, puppy dogs, plastic boats, camp'n out and fish'n!! ..and I'll be 64 this month!! Hahahaha!! Great video!! Outstanding catching!

dillon nicely We got lucky brother... I’ve been there in the past and it’s been covered up with folks too.. We had a blast!!! Thank you for the comment and positive vibes!!!
I just got back from dicks creek an the trout were not biting .I love bamas videos and looked up on google about soque river but it says all of it is private land except for off the bridge on hwy 197 jackson bridge. If you would i really like to know how to get to this spot please ? Im just starting to learn more about trout fishing .Thank you and God bless
They do love corn.. Very few fisherman realize corn actually kills the fish because they can't digest it. I mean Ive fished with it to several times but didn't realize that it hurts them. But if your taking them home to eat I think its ok. I try to stick with artificial baits but sometimes Nightcrawlers. Thanks for watching JCT very grateful for the support and positive vibes brother..
A brook trout isn’t actually a trout, it’s a Char. The only true native fish in eastern trout streams. They are bred in hatcheries now.Rainbows and browns were imported from Europe.
If that’s a Shakespeare rod then they’re infamous to snap above the second eye. Mine broke yesterday with a medium size rainbow on that wrapped me around a log in the water and it didn’t stand like 8 pounds of force. Can’t stand those rods man, I suggest UglyStik bro.
Where's the public access point for Soque. I find all sorts of stuff on google talking about it being in Chattahoochee National Forest, but we drove around today and never found a way to get to it. Any chance you could hook me up with directions or GPS coordinates?
We were about to go up to Chatooga River and saw this video and had to go. It's theoretically almost an hour closer to us, umm, assuming we could find a way to get to it.
@@BamaSOutdoors Much appreciated Bama! Funny coincidence, I just saw your post from Lake Seed. We were just there on 7/2. Bass were all over the shallows less than a foot deep.
You got my luck....with that rod break and all,lol

Mike Burnside No doubt Mike!! Can’t go wrong with the classic..
Thanks for watching and the positive vibes brother👊😁
If you are releasing these fish, someone seriously needs to teach you how to handle a trout.... they aren’t bass...
For real horrible trout handling
Yea these most likely did not survive. Lucky they were stockers from the day before. They pile up on the top of that shoal.

@@BamaSOutdoors really? I never it kills fish didn't know that and no problem bro 👍
Good catches, but please don't treat trout like bass - they should not be lipped, tossed back, or handled with dry hands if you're not keeping.
Most of the Soque is on private property. And why are you using a treble hook?

Glenn Luteraan Just look for a tiny town called Batesville. It’s like 2 stores. Signs will lead you to it bud!!
