Literally every other guide I see is obviously aimed at people who already know how to play. They say move names like we already know how to do the move itself and what it is. I’m so grateful to this video.
Almost every single tekken 8 guide I’ve watched is so complicated and overwhelming. This guide actually felt like it was in English lol! Please consider a Jun or Lili guide :D
this is the best guide so far, you described all the stances for beginners, unlike any other videos where they just go straight like we already know how to do the stances, you deserve a lot for this, thanks pal
I didn’t have hope for the guide at first cause there always long I thought that’s what made it good I was completely wrong this guide is EXACTLYY what I needed for Reina keep doing what your doing man
I feel like this video will definitely improve my Reina. I was already starting to get the hang of it but now I know exactly where I need to change my approach. I'm subscribing
I like watching videos like this after I’ve got comfortable with a character because it helps me know if I’m using the right tools - and thankfully you’ve confirmed that. Amazingly helpful video, please do them all like this! Also, it might be helpful to also include some tips on how to play her ie. What moves you should be trying to open your opponent with, what moves to confuse and pressure your opponent etc. Thanks again! 😊
The combo at 2:49 i need help with im just not good with combos that connect like that can anyone give me suggestions on how to get better with combos like 2:49 please
One big question after a huge thanks to you: what to learn first: EWGF, or other tools then back to EWGF? side note: I didn't play Mishima before, but I can land some EWGF in one game.
I think when learning Mishima's it can be easy to fixate on EWGF early on. It's prob best to focus on other stuff whilst still taking time to practice it a bit each session and building up the execution gradually.
i means impact, it's a way to describe how fast a move is. So an i13 move would be a move that hits in 13 frames, and can be used to punish a -13 move.
I am completely new to Tekken. Would you say that learning her combos that do over 40 damage is good enough? I wouldn't know when to use all these things shown in the video, considering how fast a match plays out. But maybe that's because I'm new to tekken as a whole.
First hit or second hit? If it's the first then you prob need to dash up a bit before doing it. If you know you'll use cd1,4 as your ender, you can also do SEN 1+2 as your tornado instead of SEN 2, then hold df from heaven's wrath to automatically go into crouchdash.
One thing i feel like was missed is her Unsoku stances. I feel they are quite strong as they let you get in and out very quick all while being able to whiff punish with back 3 4 (heat engages), and can cancel into Sentai, her rolls, and crouch dash. Unsoku ko (up or down 3) has a punch parry effect for a short bit, and also regens heat (not a whole lot but it could pressure someone to try top you), and Unsoku Ko and Unsoku Gen can all cancel into each other. Unsoku gen (back 3) has those cancels and has the back 3 4 move, I like to use this after some pressure to bait an attack, and if they try, Reina has many ways to make them regret it. Becareful though, as i dont think you can block while moving because I've been caught by Rage Arts sometimes
Reina is a worthy of a Heir, but really, how tf that old man really hate demon gene but Reina didnt get hated by him!? Is she like comply to him and just get along well? just like Azula and Zuko shit(Simplified)!?
one of the problems ive noticed for her moveset for noobs is a lot of her attacks that are easily accidentally activated have a lot of start up frames (20-25), whereas most characters like Leroy, have very few start up frames (9 -15) on the easily accidentally spammable attacks. I've also encountered that if I'm trying a 1 1 2 combo and have to take a step forward between the 1 1, the game often reads the input as f+1+2 , which is a stupid roll punch that's easily countered by basically any mid or low attack. The inputs on a standard ps5 controller don't seem precise enough for Tekken 8. I've found forums describing similar problems of inputs being read incorrectly. For a game as finetuned as Tekken 8, having an unreliable input system almost makes the game feel like the skill ceiling is so much lower for controller players, vs PC and fight sticks. edit: doing replays and trying to learn, and this game just told me to counter a move that has 8 startup frames with a move that has 12 startup frames. This, mathematically, doesn't make any sense.

nobody does that lol just get better
One of the best guides I've seen, deserves way more recognition. Starter guides should not be an hour long!
Why? Is Your attention span not long enough?
@@charlieflight6124 Good one!
@@ChayBenji what do you mean good one? Answer the question.
@@charlieflight6124 I'm alright actually

Watching this because I have trouble fighting this character recognizing that she has a stance before a lot of her mixups is such a game changer!!!
0.5 speed is my friend here
I agree with you, though I like 0.75 better cause not as slow but not as fast

Been playing Reina since I got the game and this guide has been the most helpful, informative and concise I've found so far! Great work!
Wow this is fantastic!
Well explained and I don't even have an idea how you got all that in 4mins!

Dude the grab in 1:31 is so effing hard LOL
Simple, concise, and extremely useful! Thank you very much for this!
Finally! A concise and easy to follow guide. Excellent work 😊
Great video my guy, condensed 40 minute tutorials into 4 and was still very clear and informative
Excelent guide! I'll go ahead and request one of these for every char in the game, thanks.
Simple and straight to the point, best kinda guides 🙏 great work! Hoping to see a Sergei guide 👀
I love these videos from you, they are gold and way underrated. Thank you very much!

Yo bro insane guides the best guide I've seen yet pls make one for Leo and dragonov
when i searched "reina tekken 8 guide" i was expecting like 30 minute long videos
thanks bro . Really clear guide
Dude well done. If you play Steve or Lili I would like another one in this format
Funny enough, I just released a Lili one last week
i don't know if it's because it's been patched out, but doing df1,2 after f4 doesn't guarantee a hit 0:21
"If they duck", it has to hit them crouching for it to be guaranteed. Can be tricky to see in a match but gets easier with practice.
Good stuff, thats how you supposed to make guides.
really great video thanks
Top stuff lad, quick and to the point with exactly what you need to know
Thx dude, realy helpful.
He doesn't miss
this guide is awesome.
Awesome. Please give one for Devil Jin too.
Watching this in 2x speed
so many guides waste so much time babbling when i just wanna know what my good buttons and tools are. thanks

Other guides: just learn wavedash mixups lmaooo
Perfect video thanks
Oh wow. Thanks!
Thank you. To the point. great.
So these grabs are unbreakable! Thx, i wonder how you are supposed to ocounterplay them. Ducking into a hard 50/50 feels rather cheap
Great video! Can you cover devil jin as well?
Need a combo from low like any other character has
One of the best tutorials for this character, but a bit too fast. Otherwise, bang up job.

great video! But how do you know what stance she is in?
Sentai (1:37) = forward spin, Heaven's wrath (1:56) = hunched with arms out.

One thing tho, cd14 as an ender whiffs often. Whats the catch
