Hey Wildo, awesome video. Your short beginner's guide are super helpful, the notations on the screen and the simple structure are really good. My Lili improved a lot after your guide. Keep up the great content, cheers from Brazil.
Man your guides are just so good. Honestly im labbing now and its just made the fundamental jun easy to learn cuz i havent needed to watch some 40 minute how to video.
This one made me a subscriber, keep up the good work i really appreciate this video i just picked up Jun 3 days ago and I’m a returning casual Tekken player from T7.
For wall tornados you might need to use df4 instead of d1+2 depending on the wall splat situation because the startup frames of d1+2 is slower. One example is when you get a wall splat with the mid Heat Smash : if you use d1+2 as a follow up you won't get a wall combo but you will with df4 which can lead to a 94 damage combo with the uf4,3 > MIA 2 wall ender.
I just started messing around with other characters and I've been meaning to learn her (Reina and Lee Chaolan too). She was so fun! And immediately here i am with this video in my rec feed, it's a sign haha
Thanks for the guide, I started to play online 2 dans ago, still not ranked and I main Jun, sometimes I get so much pressured that I don't manage to hit a single time, I thought Jun was too slow to pressure but it seems I don't know her tools enough
Could you make a similar guide for Nina detailing the keys as you do here. Or videos with the same annotations but for more advanced combos? Cheers from Belgium
I'm on a mission to learn all the characters on the game from playing them This far. I played Azu Drag Leo Lee Shaheen Got all of them to blue ranks except drag ( my least fav. Experience thus far) My mains are Claudio and Steve .. I'm looking to play either jun, law or the bears and yoshi ATM.. What they have in common .. they annoy the shit out of me when I play against them . 8 realize when I play the characters that annoy me for a little while.. the matchup gets easier .. So I'm gonna play all .. Since I'm here , I'm about 70% to playing jun .will decide by tomorrow
I switched from Hwoarang to Jun today just to test. Man, Hwoarang is so weak compared to Jun. She has so many tools to make her an absolute beast. In the right hands, she can trouble the best players of the world and make it look easy.
i played hwoarang because he was the first character i picked and just never changed because i dont play ranked or anything, HWOARANG IS PISS WEAK??? he literally does SO MUCH to get a fraction of what 90% of the other characters in this game do. ONE king grab does more damage than hwoarang's average 7-8 hit combo.
i means impact, it's a way to describe how fast a move is. So an i13 move would be a move that hits in 13 frames, and can be used to punish a -13 move.
I don't know why people use that so much when 8/10 it's useless to even mention in this game unless it involves a parry or built in evasion, it just makes learning players nervous for no reason.

'ws' means while standing, so when getting up from crouch. 'i12/13' etc. means the move takes that amount of frames to come out, so for example your i10 punish is a move that takes 10 frames to come out and hit.
Best guide for upper ranks who wants a quick overview for basic tools
Love it! Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! Glad to hear they're helpful
I'm amazed how much info you packed into a short video. And it was all easy to follow along with.
Giving us all this in less than four minutes is crazy work. Great job.
straight to the point guide showcasing her most important tools, thx a lot :)
A guide that is to the point with no BS. Great guide!

Definitely earned a sub from me. I just decided to learn jun today and your guide instantly helped me know what to look for when combining with her.

you forgot b4 2 as her 13f punisher, if you dont want to use Heat
I just got to Tekken King and I learnt a thing or two from this xD
Insanely amazing guide! Can you make more videos about set-up and flowcharts?
Concise and informative. Thank you!
Idk if you make this cuz my previous comment but anyway thanks dude😆, gonna show this to my bro😎
Ha, I wanted to try her out again after playing in the beta, glad it lined up with the request

I hate they got rid of her tekken 2 style. She was a beast. She feels like a xiaoyu hybrid now

@@joogled1839 Yes! I won a few matches with Jun without using a single combo......... :/
That’s not true. It’s just your 5min impression
Hwo isn’t weak, he’s just not a entry level character . Those sample combos ain’t gonna help u
@@joogled1839 his combo damage isnt weak

What does he mean by i13 , 14, 15 etc... what's the I

@@DownwardsMasroor i means impact, it's a way to describe how fast a move is. So an i13 move would be a move that hits in 13 frames, and can be used to punish a -13 move.
It's frames bro for example if you block an enemy move that is -15 you can get a -15 true punish just look at the frame data bro
Great guide was dying at the Genjutsu advice tho "use one of these options" names every move from the stance
please make Nina version, this guide is soo fkn help
can someone explain what he means by ws i12 i13 i14 etc
'ws' means while standing, so when getting up from crouch. 'i12/13' etc. means the move takes that amount of frames to come out, so for example your i10 punish is a move that takes 10 frames to come out and hit.
great👍
I think characters like Rock Howard are not realistic in Tekken, seeing as they usually go for the more evil-ish characters like Akuma or Geese
