Anything over a 700+ lbs squat is definitely juice assisted. Same with a 700+ lbs deadlift and a 450+ lbs bench. If someone hits these numbers, 99.9% of the time, their juicing. The juice might explain the decent cardio for a 50 year old at 260lbs......

This was definitely one of the better Scrapyard contests. Both of these guys brought some legitimate skills to the cage. Pookie was clearly the superior striker but Animal was far and away the better grappler. Animal simply got the decision because he was able to impose his game on Pookie. I would like to see a rematch after Pookie learns how to stuff those takedowns and some JiuJitsu...

That’s not how BJJ works, grappling is such a diverse skill set, not every athlete will attempt every submission even if it’s available, why go for something that may put you in a jeapordized position if you aren’t good at a specific submission

@@motivationontop6587 his opponent was a striker or preferred striker by his stance. He was standing too high so that was the reason I felt the animal was able to take him down when he wanted to. Now if the striker would have stood in a wrestling stance with his hands up he would be able to anticipate the animal changing levels to shoot on him.

good controlled grappling, if only he knew a couple basic submissions. so much open there in mount and side control, but he got into position again and again and just left them
That guy has a lot of power and he made use of it. He will do really well when he gets more training. I think he's okay at punching but he seems to be afraid to get into a big brawling match. He probably should learn to use those knees for driving into the body as well.
