Nice update video, that ending somehow is perfect for your channel. - So... *BETTER THAN FACTORY MADE?*
Omg I’m so glad we got an update!! I think about Truckla every so often!! It’s crazy to think when you made Truckla I had just come across your videos and was blown away that you could do that to an electric car.
And now like 5 years later?? There are electric trucks for sale and I just bought my first hybrid SUV 2 weeks ago. Wild to see how things change over 5 years 🥺
Here’s hoping EV/HEV/PHEV vehicles become more and more accessible and affordable. 🙏🏼
Watching Simone watch Chargela approach Truckla was like witnessing a parent watch her child take their first steps.
That tailgate is nearly as capable at load bearing as my entire van. I'm really impressed!
Was literally thinking about Truckla at 4:37 this morning. Thoughts were "I hope Truckla's doing ok, living her best life..maybe carrying some plywood and parts from here to there." Also "Man, I wish I had a Truckla, too bad none of the other car companies were willing to carry the torch of this wonderful design (Looks at Chevrolet and Toyota with squinty eyes and slightly shaking head of disappointment). Thank you so much for what you do, you inspire me to step outside of my comfortable lines and many boxes. You have more friends than you will ever know(that is meant as a good thought). May your failures and successes bring you joy and knowledge without harm.
Truckla looks so amazing! and scraps's little coat is so adorable
What a happy coincidence. Earlier this week I was wondering what ever happened to Truckla. I thought there was another video where you mentioned getting another car because Truckla's remaining issues got in the way of regular use but perhaps I misremembered. So thanks for the update! It's great to see her getting some fixes and improvements to be her best self.
If you feel like making another update video when the body work and bed liner are done I'll watch the heck out of that. Also Chargela is a beaut and there's nothing at all suggestive about her motions. Love the outro, too. Hard not to have a good day after watching this :]
Truckla is back and better than ever (especially now that it has Chargla!). 👏Definitely check us out if you're a fan of robotics-we make the building process more simple, intuitive, and ultimately way faster!
@@viamrobotics I'll have to do so. I have some unused raspis laying around and I appreciate that your solution lowers the barrier to entry to robotics. Worked a bit with ROS in undergrad and while it's super powerful it's also a pretty steep learning curve. Cheers for your efforts to lower that :]
She mentioned in the fire alarm video a few months ago that she also has a Volvo C40 called Volvla, so she does have at least one more car or maybe more if she also still have Cheese Louise.
@@AndreSB43 The licence plate on Truckla makes me think that maybe Cheese Louise's been retired. Or at least that it's not used enough to justify the cost of the custom licence plate?
Got the notification and clicked on it immediately. Truckla looks amazing. And the idea for Chargela is really good. Amazing video as always ❤
