      I bought parts from you. But now I have one problem. I do not know the screw size where should they go. Do you have schematics of screw sizes, and where they go. It will help me to assembly my iPhone 6 again. Thanks a lot :D

    The video is fine and shows every important part, however as a technician i have to tell you the first thing you guys should do as start is disconnect the battery, there was not one issue happened in the past when the MB died because of short circuit.
    Even more risky you touching miniature connector with a metal tweezers, much more chance to cause short circuit.
    So 1st step disconnect the battery, 2nd never working metal but plastic!!!
    Even if you guys professional but someone can watch this video copy exactly that you doing and kill his/her £600 phone.
    except this things thank you for the video

      This dumbass disconnects the battery with a metal tool, wow, and then heats up the battery!!!! Noooo, you heat up the backside of the battery, and then for the home button where the cable is glued you need to use a plastic tool as well, all of these mistakes pointed out I have messed up a phone with. So now I know better but damn this guy sucks

    Is it the same process for an iPhone 6 Plus? I'm assuming it is but want to make sure

    • @Fixez

      The process is very similar. We have a video of the 6 plus as well.

    I've got 2 questions. first my wifi connection on my phone is reeaaalllyyy bad it only works if I'm really close and I can't get too far and it connects really bad and second because of this I used to get mad and hit it on the back a lot is it bad and can it do lots of damage? I stopped

    • @yaxnggg

      I have a same wifi problem, I brought it to fix. There is still no positive results after 2 weeks

    • @Fixez
      @Fixez  8 років тому +2

      +JoJo Games It's possible that hitting the phone dislodged the wifi antenna or caused other damage to the phone. Replacing the antenna may help.

      That sucks, I dropped mine and the vibrate switch got dented so I have to repair that. I've been repairing screens for a few months now for work. But I'm pretty sure the vibrate switch is difficult because you have to remove the battery and logic board I believe to get to it.

    • @Fixez
      @Fixez  9 років тому

      +artise May be best to try a new battery first, can you confirm why you performed the tear down on the unit to begin with?

    • @jiminie238
      @jiminie238 9 років тому

      a really stupid reason (i wanted to make my back cover matte black). my battery works fine as my phone works but it won't charge and speakers won't work. so i bought a new charging port flex and tried this again and it still won't charge. i've probably disassembled my phone more than 10 times now, very stupid i know *****

    At 11:14 is the backplate now completely isolated? Would it be possible to electroplate it to a different finish without damaging any of the ports?
