Thanks Doctor 😊
Sure thing 👍
Amazing job on the clearcoat Mario it looked perfect of the gun and exceptional when it was all rebuilt, the customer should be really happy with that.
Thanks for sharing your expertise with us👌🙏👍John UK
Thanks John, you’re the best🙌
That joint look shiny asf bro good job!! I can't paint til March, weather not good in NY...
Thanks! That’s a long time to wait.
@@mariopaintclass6091 I have no choice, don't have a garage. Next house I get that's definitely on list. I would have to build a makeshift tent in backyard to paint. Too much work, March around corner. I'll wait...
Good job ❤
Thanks.
Great job and that's a pretty color. That gun looks like my clear gun. I've been using the Tekna Clearcoat copper gun for a couple of years and love that gun. I've used the 1.3 and 1.4 tips. Haven't tried the 1.2 in it yet.
Thanks man. Can’t go wrong with a Tekna.
New too ur channel sir good content.
Thanks. And welcome!
6:20 - any tips for reaching those far/hard to reach areas? I've tried standing on a platform but it's not always ideal.
Hey Mario loving the videos bro, you always answer my questions and help me out so much. I have a question on new bumpers that have a two tone paint then plastic I always seem to get sealer bleeding through my fine line tape when I remove it after painting how can I fix that, you can bearly see the grey . Thx man
Hey Frank, I’m a bit confused. Sealer main purpose is to prevent bleeding. I’m probably going to need a few more details.
Great content! Question what’s the re coat window for most sealers?
Between 24 hours. But there are different types of sealers, therefore the best thing to do is check the TDS for the kind you use.
3:20 - I run into that issue when I'm painting whole vehicle or a lot of panels - I've always been afraid to mix up more than one paint cup at a time because doesn't the activator start 'activating' right away in the cup?
Hey man, naw using slow activator would take a while even with fast the products all have a shelf life.
pot life of activated clear is roughly 1hr. So u have that long b4 u see any difference in the clear viscosity. Worse thing u can do is run out of clear midway thru the clear job, then have to run back into the mixing room to mix more clear, by then the window to continue with ur wet edge potentialy can be done and ur left with a dry edge.
thank you both... next time I'll try mixing it all at once and see how much better my results are compared to having to quickly mix another batch
@@WJHandyDad for my first coat, i always mix enough for almost 2 coats of clear. Usually 1.5. Then i do the math on much clear i actually sprayed for the first coat, then for a big job i mix about 250ml (8oz) extra so i wont run out. Also depending on how ur booth is setup, i always like spraying the vehicle itself first cause u have no chance of running out midway thru the job. If u do runout on a bumper or molding, it isnt that huge of a deal
thank you again@@JimmyJiveJones
