Titus believed the Codex Astartes are a set of rules and guidelines and not sacred script to be followed without question. Funny how his Primarch would agree with that assesment.
@@Lostflipper24yes and no. When one becomes a grey knight their previous identity dies and they take up a new one. Similar to how paladins will carry on their masters name. But given Titus’ status and his faithful service record even in the face of certain corruption shows he has the potential to become a Grey Knight.
@hakim6933 I don't think he's Psychic. I think he's protected by the Emperor himself. I think the God Emperor gave him a gift to resist the warp, and has been helping him all along as the Emperor sees him saving many worlds.
Leandros is such a pixie… such a good script to write the most hated character in Titus’ story. It’d be crazy to see him turn up or to hear of how following the rules so religiously got him and his men killed. Bobby G would definitely wish he had Titus by his side for all these years finding more common kinship in this son than most others of the Ultra Marines.
I see a lot of people say that Leandros' strict adherence to the Codex Astartes was what Titus criticized. I never got that impression. Titus calls it the foundation of every good and loyal Astartes, but the way you adhere to it is key to being a truly good Space Marine. It might sound trivial, but I don't think he is telling Leandros that he is wrong for strictly following the Codex(which he actually doesn't by going directly to the inquisition with his accusation). The western bias for bending and breaking rules or being generally unorthodox is a thing in 40k. Though if you want a protagonist to assume those qualities, you're looking in the wrong place.
I wanted to buy the game when it came out (Never did, even so i loved it) seen the episode in Secret levels and got hooked again, bought the game, and been 2 days soaking up tons of Lore videos of warhammer 40K 😁
Leandros bealieved the words from a corrupted inquisitor than his captain, can wait when he meets just one Greyknight and how they can resist the warp.
Wait what? The Captain-General of the Custodes decided to randomly mentor a random ass ultramarine? AND THEN THE CAPTAIN GENERAL FUCKING DIED TO ELDAR? Yeah this video got some things incorrect.
Best place to start would be the RTS older games. Dawn of war and it's datadiscs (dlc campaigns) and Dawn of war. Also if possible play the first Spacemarine game.
if you would feel more comfortable playing a third person shooter like Space Marine 2, absolutely do that. if you don't mind real-time-strategy games, I'd say go and find the Dawn of War games. The lore for Space Marine 2 largely comes from Space Marine 1 and a block of text from a board game (of which there is plenty of videos explaining both), so just watch 1 or 2 of those vids and you'll be set. Good luck!
Back in the day, now I have been out of lore for half a lifetime. So this is in the 1990s. Some of the Emperor's sons were not accounted for, so is Titus one of the lost sons? that my thought and intresting twist given what happen to Titus is he one of the lost Primarchs.

Yeah it's more like a protocol or some short. Maybe they need to rewrite the codex for Titus sake. 😅
It would be amazing if we got to see his primarch somehow in the sequel
It’s almost like he wanted his sons to think freely and use their independent minds as weapons
@@Welsh7133that was exactly the purpose he saw zealousness as self destructive, and we can see that in many cases in Warhammer.
I’m here after watching the Secret Level episode of Warhammer. Who else?
@gingerbreadman530 yeah it got me interested that short has me low key hype
Same here.. 🎉😂
Same lmfao
Add another! Love the old world lore so now I'm drinking the sweet nectar of 40k.
That shit was awesome
I’ve taken a crash course in Warhammer 40k lore over the past few weeks lol, I can’t wait for this game.
"The Codex Astartes is more like guidelines than actual rules" Captain Barbossa
Dude is a latent Psychic, he's gonna get Recruited by the Grey Knights at some point.
Can they be physic and a primaries?

Ho ho ho, you will be shocked to see him in Space Marine 2 hahaha.

Lol, I just found this video in August 2024 while waiting for the game to release and at the end I hear that "winter 2023" release date. Ouch.
only 8 days left m8, see you on the battlefield, FOR THE EMPEROR
I’m wondering how bad the game was in 2023 for it to be postponed for another year
Sounds like they failed trying to churn out a piece of dog shit game
God I hope leandros gets some sort of reprisal for what he pulled in the first game
Some tie-in books imply that Guilliman actually had a nice long chat with him about his actions and how upset he was.
Spoiler
Dude is in the story as a chaplain

Is it possible he’s a Perpetual? How else might he have survived that much warp energy?
I think he's just protected by the God Emperor himself.

Buckle up, once you in the universe, it's over for others lores.
Imagine they made a movie off war hammer and made Sylvester Stallone play knight Titus
Titus goes to death watch then rejoins the ultra marines and leandros became a chaplin in the down time
