It's easy to hate on Leandros, but nobody seems to consider that with the state of the Warhammer 40K universe they're in, where demons are a literal reality, he has every right to be paranoid on everything. It never hurts to be extra careful just to be safe, or else they'd have Daemon Princess running around Macragge. Titus has the strongest will among his Chapter, and Leandros still couldn't get that through his thick skull even AFTER his Captain saved his sorry hide. May the Tyranids have him.
@@hanswurst1844 Dude... Why the actual hell would you want to turn leandros into corpse starch? That's a disservice even to the culinary standards of 40k.
The overly superstitious and dogmatic Leandros was willing to put his entire company at risk due to not understanding Titus’s warp resistance. Those who have a strong will are less vulnerable to warp corruption. Leondros was the most weak minded of the squad and thus the most vulnerable to corruption. While your enemies maybe closer, your betrayers are closer.
I don't really blame Leandros as much as other people do. The guy is simply a product of the society he comes from, one which shuns innovative thinking for inflexible dogmatism.
And to be fair, warp is devious so you can never know. But going directly to inquisition instead of chapter chaplain is like fatal punishment for a guy who steals some bread for his family
Titus has always been among my favorite Ultramarines and Astartes. I've always wondered what will become of him after Graia and had thought that he could be serving in the Deathwatch and it was spot on. He is among the true sons of Roboute Guilliman. And Leandros was and has been wrong; it'll be something if he was chastised by Guilliman or Calgar. Titus is worth being a legendary hero.

Many people point it out, but I've yet to see it in this comment section, so I'll do it for the benefit of those who haven't played Space Marine 1, or have forgotten. Leandros spends a decent chunk of his dialogue in the first game questioning Cpt. Titus' adherence to the Codex Astartes, casting doubt on the loyalty of his superior officer. When Leandros reports Cpt. Titus to the inquisition for suspected heresy at the end of the game, this is actually a violation of the Codex, which states that if an Astartes suspects a battle brother of heresy, they should be reported to a chapter librarian or to the chapter master, and the chapter will conduct an internal investigation on the suspected. Astartes are expected to under no circumstances sell a battle brother out to an external organization. TL;DR Leandros is a massive hypocrite.
