That alto's voice is INCREDIBLE - so rich and full. Sounds like a tenor with a sprinkle of treble...I think I'm in love... :P
Bruh this is what I was saying about her voice. It just kinda jumped out at me!
Oh, then you'd love her singing "Dido's Lament": ua-cam.com/video/19RJKnh9hbU/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Absolutely! She has the most outstanding countertenor voice I have ever heard for a lady. There is a recording g of her singing Purcell’s Evening Hymn. Amazing and so beautifully performed.
Helen has unbelievable range
For all those wondering, the name's Mezzo is Helen Charlston.
We’re going to pretend like this voice at 0:25 didn’t happen? Lord have mercy! Okay, but overall this was amazing. I’d like to hear the entire performance. Please!
🙌
I thought I was the only one! I’ve been playing it on repeat for the past 10 minutes lol.
@@wickedmuffin76 it is a great voice, deep and rich...I do like all the voices, especially the front 5, I've seen far left and second from right in Tenebrae Choir too. ua-cam.com/video/bl_sjMoNovY/v-deo.html he has a great voice.
I think the front 5 voices compliment each other very well
Her great voice here too, but off camera ua-cam.com/video/bl_sjMoNovY/v-deo.html
I thought i was the only one who noticed. Also ar 2:45 . My God what a deep beautiful voice coming from a woman!
Helen Charleston’s voice😍
So smooth, without a doubt the most beautiful version i heard until now. I have to say i'm really impressed by the voices quality.
I could listen to the high soprano which sounds like vibrato in areas and the fullness of the two (male and female) on the right. Their voices are just incredible
Underrated. Beautiful just marvelous!

What A Beautiful
Gift Of Music ❤
Commenting to help the algorithm. This should have 100k views already. Very good.
This is so beautiful, amazing job❤️
i love to hear this master piece. thank you so much.
The mezzo-soprano is the highest C I’ve ever heard. A spiritual lifting listening experience.
She does shine up top. I don't think she's a mezzo though. The woman at 0:25 is a mezzo, who also has a gorgeous voice too.
I don't think you know what a Mezzo is...
Beautiful piece of art
I always listen to this during the paschal triduum, is there a full version of this? Thanks for posting, it’s beautiful.
You can stream the full version here: www.marianconsort.co.uk/demand/allegris-miserere/
Try also the recording by Tenebrae Choir on UA-cam, also great
Beautiful indeed. I first heard the Miserere when I was 14 yrsrs old. Peter Phillips Tallis Scholars…
Can Yoiu Help Me Please.?
On your History of The Miserere videi I cannot see which chapel you are filming in ? Please let me know ? Thankyou for sharing all of your clips x
Unreal !!!!
masterpiece
I love the voice of Fiona Fraser so much!
She is a adorable dog ❤❤❤❤
Wow when soprano goes high it takes me back to the ancient of days to my father to my God wht a marvelous feeling wht a voice angels are singing...God bless..
I can hear the Ternor's voice a little more higher than the others but it sounds beautiful anyway
Nice ! Good job!
Wunderschön 👏 👏
Beautiful.
Wonderful rendition, please can you tell me where was it recorded?
Thank you very much, Mozart.
I listened to the a live performance by the Tallis Scholars last weekend. Repeating that high C is not healthy for the soprano. Her voice almost broke at the fifth and last repeat. I suggest that a modern performance of the can do the original version 2x, the ornament version 2x and the high C version 2x
SUBLIME!!!
Tears
I wish we had TLM in my country...
Does anyone know the name of the soprano who sings the top c note ?
Sister Golden Hair...
Where is the location?
St Augustine's, Kilburn in London
Name of the woman at 00:25 and 02:44 please?
Pretty sure it is Helen Charlston.
Is it just my ears or they went slightly off?
The third soprano, a little bit.
But the rest is fine.
Chairman 😶💃
@@benjaminbaah-konadu3886 anaa meboa?
You try doing it then
@@creightonstarbuck2000 send me your email and I'd send you a recording gladly
How disappointing.
This was about to be one of the best versions of this composition, yet it cut off the ending!
Allegri and about half a dozen errant copyists over two and a half centuries.
Ma il secondo tenore se un omo?
wow they dont fuck about
Good, but the soprano lacks delicacy. Its almost too strong and comes across as screaming imo
Not one bit
this hymm is about self confession, self judgement, self punishment. but the singing technique expression was way too strong that i can almost feel the self confidence. not liking.
I love your sound, but the singers should really respect the tactus. Sopranos could come out a bit, I think.
I think this sounds perfect!!
