this song is like, a huge hit here in italy, and it’s no surprise the audience in turin knew most of the words, but hearing people sing with this much love was so endearing to watch, music is truly amazing sometimes

My test of a good Eurovision song is "will I ever listen to the again?" This is a clear yes - such a beautiful song, performed with real feeling.
Honestly Eurovision was a bit boring this year because most of the songs were ballads but this one was absolutely beautiful...felt like they were singing their hearts out to each other

It was off just about half the time, very unfortunate that their worst performance was on the night of the finale. I'm pretty sure that the problem was technical, that they couldn't hear eachother and themselves in many parts of the song through their earpieces and just had to wing it(rarely works, you're going to go off pitch a lot if you can't hear yourself over the music). Towards the end when it's stripped down and almost acapella they sound fine.
It's easy to forget as a television viewer how insanely loud a live performance like this is.
@@georgianasutu5882 Except it wasn't this time, virtually every single falsetto part was off pitch and there's a lot of them in this song. It's not because he's a bad singer, this kind of stuff can happen for a variety of reasons.
Whether this wins or not, can we appreciate that they are normalising expression of feelings in men. I am a sensitive man and I wish I had this reference when I was younger :)

I really wanted them to kiss on the lips... That would have been the cherry on top of the cake! Their chemistry is undeniable! The sexual tension between them throughout the song... They would have gotten more points if they kissed on the lips after the performance. The surprise factor will be loved by televiewers.

Italy is definitely my favorite country at Eurovision
It's a bit complicated for me. This is such a great song. I listen to it many times a day. But their performance of the night didn't quite capture the emotion of it. I remember telling my family when watching Eurovision that this was the best song of the night but I couldn't disagree with them that they said that they didn't perform it well enough for people to appreciate the beauty of it that particular time.
I will always love this song though. My winner that night easily.

Aaww Blanco was shaking, poor baby! He is so young and he has already achieved a lot, they were so emotional but they delivered a very intimate exhibition, every time they sing together I feel their emotions in a delicate and raw way and they are able to create a very magical and powerful atmosphere around them!

I am currently training myself to like all the songs from Eurovision 2022 by listening to them on repeat.
This comes in 4 stages:
1. Tolerance
2. Familiarity (recognising the song when it comes on)
3. Knowing the melody (recognising the song even without it being on)
4. Liking the song
When I learn to appreciate and enjoy all the music from Eurovision 2022 only then can I even begin to look forward to Eurovision 2023.
When I finish listening to the last song on there and liking it, I'm gonna rewatch the whole Eurovision 2022 again and actually see it for what it is. A beautiful masterpiece filled with songs from beautiful talented artists.
When the crowd sings with the singers, they know that they made it. Such a masterpiece, deserved to be in top five. I will never forget this song in my life, is just art and that's all. Congrats 🇮🇹 Italy ❤

most host countries would make sure they couldn't win again on their year by sending non-winning material. Not Italy, they literally tried to defend their title with this, the complete opposite. This is how you actually defend your title of winner.

It was such a beautfiul moment hearing the audience singing with them! They were my favourites to win, however they sang off-key in some parts during the song. Not their best vocal performance unfortunately, so I think the results are justified! Still such a great song and amazing chemistry between them! ❤️

The studio version was excellent, the national final was excellent, but in this performance they sang off-key in almost the whole song, and some parts of the original song they weren't here. Even so it was a great performance

I only listened to this song after EuroVision, weird cause I'm normally plugged into Mahmood's songs! But I fell in love after listening and especially seeing this live version. This song is beautiful and has to be my favourite usc song of all time. There’s so much depth and layers in this song it’s totally captivating from start to finish. Italy were my musical winners of this year by a million miles and all the views and likes I’m seeing online confirms that despite the vote on the night. As a non-italian who watched Sanremo for the very first time this year - I honestly think this performance wasn't as good as their live performances during Sanremo? Not to knock the artist or the song itself, it's probably my most played song on Spotify this year, but it just felt like they were enjoying the moment and being on stage together vs performing to the audience. It can work and obviously, it wasn't a bad performance (these two can't have a "bad" performance if they tried!) but it just lacked a tiny bit of magic that I saw in their Sanremo performances.

@@LucaMolteni84 I heard this song for the first time at the finals and I was wondering all the time if they hit the high notes at all… Yes can confirm, something sounded off definitely:( A singer should avoid doing what he can barely do during a contest, especially in presence of Sam Ryder or Polish guy who feel like fish in water in that range.
Not sure what happened but Blanco had a concert few days prior the event and throughout the entire weekend they both said they were really anxious about the performance (if you listen to the rehearsal they sounded worse). They probably were really tired (they both have been touring). Tbh I would be anxious too, listen to that crowd... insane

Their Sanremo performance was way way better! I think all the touring before Eurovision did more harm than good. Their voices were shaking, whereas at Sanremo they had a strong performance.
