I watched the live show with my friends and I’m the only one who speaks Italian so I was the only one who picked up on it. The funniest part is that they don’t know that I speak Italian so looked really concerned when I randomly got excited/started laughing. So then I had to explain that he said grab your balls and that’s why Victoria is laughing too. I also admitted that I know bcos I speak Italian and then they were shocked like “what so you’re just sitting there understanding all the lyrics” and I’m like yuppp and then had to translate for them 😂

No one is gonna read this but, I don’t think people understand how important it actually is for us young rock fans to have a band like Måneskin finally coming out of the dark. I’m 21 years old and been a rock fan ever since I was 15, I of course mostly listen to old school bands from the 70s/80s and 90s. Now to say that I can FINALLY relate to a band with people of my own age is something I thought would never happen. There’s a lot of talented modern rock bands out there, but none of them made it to the top like Måneskin ( Greta Van Fleet kinda did but they’re not really original ) and it’s only the beginning for them. It’s truly incredible that in 2021 rock music is starting to come back to life. I hope those other bands I listen to will also be recognised with time. ROCK N ROLL WILL NEVER FUCKING DIE.

I am "only" 9 years older than you and from my experience it is kind of hard to find younger people, especially Gen Z (how they are called) who are rock fans. With Millennials and older it is a bit different though. What I never understood it why Rock disappeared from the mainstream area. I do love pop music but in my eyes pop music declined and is getting worse.
I guess a lot of us are pleased that Maneskin won and that Rock music is again there where it belongs. Also it is a nice new breeze of fresh air. I hope the 20s of this century will be full of different genres again, like the 90s used to be :D

It kinda sucks that nowadays many songs are not up to lvl but still it has huge success idk how🤷♀️ . As compared to old music todays music is nothing. Iam so happy that maneskin won🤩

I was literally crying begging they'd win It's the first time a song I've liked so much and the artists I adore won, it was a phenomenal moment
I love how Ethan was holding it all in when the results were announced by zoning out for a bit. And that puffed out face when he held the award. He was really doing his best not to get emotional like his bandmates.

At some point in their life, a group guitarist has to accept that the lead singer will just come and kiss them randomly, Thomas couldn't escape from that.
I'm italian and it's actually quite common for men to kiss eachother on one or both cheeks as a friendly gesture/salute, but nobody actually kiss mouth to mouth lol

This year's ESC just proved that we are done with cliche pop songs sung in English. The top five songs this year are so diverse, authentic & sung in native languages (except Iceland, but you can't deny that their song really stood out). I hope we will see more of this beautiful diversity and creativity in the future.
Look, I listened to some Daði Freyr's songs in Icelandic and I found them lovely to listen. And this is from an Italian native speaker. If "10 years" were in Icelandic it would have been perfect, really.

Iceland stands up because the love he describes about his wife. I love it
Maneskin always performs their songs live, without backing tracks, at their concerts. That’s not allowed at Eurovision, and I am disappointed by that. But, Maneskin used that opportunity to, instead of flexing their musical ability, of which they have a ton, to flex their insane stage presence. These kids are all naturals. Amazing

Discovered Maneskin by browsing, just browsing she says. To be honest Eurovision was not my list. Suddenly Msneskin or I believe Moolight in english has be captured, mesmerised and lost in a very pivotal moment of song/dance to the enchantment of costumes worn. I stared in wonder of who were they. Winning a well deserved award. Now in 2022 I cannot get enough of this group..from the softest of heart warming song performed in an emotional way of Elivis. Yes over the years elvis was indeed a performer. Sadly passed away in August aged 46 years 1977. Maneskin has taken such a song and gave him a well deserved tribute in their own way. I then found Supermodel, Begging to name but a few. It was time to listen to this wonderful group in Italian. Not in any way familiar with the lingo, it was again a band playing in harmony. It was delightful & sang with passion. I may be almost 60 years but band made me feel 21 years again. So from a small Scottish town, I salute you Maneskin, if anything it was an Awaking of talent, youth and charisma. Maybe just maybe you will perform here albeit Glasgow or Edinburgh and I will be in that crowd listening to in my opinion a very talented rock group..never loose your sparkle, never let the light fade. Always be true to yourselves. Till that day, Rhonda from a small but lovely town near Edinburgh
