Traditionally I find professional high quality Vegas features almost impossible to come across on UA-cam - and when I do find them, they're dreadfully unhelpful or even the wrong information altogether. hahaha Thanks for a breath of fresh air. :) Just got a Blackmagic 6K pro and couldn't find anything at all even remotely helpful on how to change braw settings. This is exactly what I was looking for. :)

vegas is great! I got used to it and for my uses on the channel it works perfectly, it is in the Polish version and it works perfectly. I'm glad it is being developed. all the best for the creators, let them further develop and improve

While editing a 5 hour video Vegas has "decided" to knock off the right audio channel. Control & Shift and restarting vegas (and clearing the cache) hasn't restored the audio and creating a new project shows the video has full blown stereo. Any ideas anyone?

This was awesome. Do you still use the software? I just bought Vegas Post and got a 12 month subscription to 365. I'm super excited to use this for loads of simple video content for Social Media Ads. Especially with the speech to text and text to speech functions.
I came to this video because on 18 i was getting bad previews with my 120 fps footage. i was just looking to see if it was worth it to upgrade right now. I didnt even know about the Dynamic RAM preview and GPU problem. i have a 3090 and have always fealt like my scrubbing process should be flawless. i also have only 32 GB of ram currently at 3200 but to me that more than decent or at least should be . with a 3900x that i do want to upgrade to a 5900 once i complete some more work. but i will probably have to do the vegas monthly subscription thing just to be able to see if 19 will avail me of my current scrub issues. I need to be able to scrub footage fast to complete my cuts in a timely manner. on top of ramping and slowing down footage.

Yes it does, but got slight hiccups which often freeze the program. Developer is trying to track down the problem. Using ProRes in VEGAS is much more better.
Why does mine glitch so bad on the menus and it does it so constantly? I have the latest updates to my graphics card, RTX 3080 and the latest Sony build 🤦🏾♂️

Vegas Pro 19 can't "see" iPhone 13 UHDp60 footage. What da....?? Audio plays but video frame is black, not showing anything. Any suggestion? I'm on Win10 Pro x64.
I assume your iPhone clip was recorded in HEVC format, and your VEGAS Pro still use the Legacy HEVC decoding. To solve this problem, go to options > preference > File I/O > and uncheck "Enable Legacy HEVC decoding". However, from my personal experience, HEVC codec in general is very hard to decode in the timeline. I highly recommend to set your iPhone video format to H.264 (If you don't mind bigger file size), or transcoded the clip to something editing friendly like Apple ProRes, which can be done via VEGAS Pro new export format, Apple ProRes.

I know it's better to use H.264 for editing, but when set to UHDp60, HEVC is the only option on the iPhone 13 Pro. 2. I've Unchecked "Enable Legacy HEVC decoding", restarted Vegas 19 and imported the footage. Now, the entire video is GREEN! That's new... 3. Can't export the video to ProRes if Vegas can't see the video, right?
@@1HDBIZ For the green color preview, it's a known issue with VEGAS Pro, and the developer team is trying to fix this problem. To sort of overcome the green color preview, you can turn of GPU Acceleration and restart VEGAS Pro. If it still persist, maybe try transcode using free software like Handbrake.
@@DatoAliffAlex OK...hopefully the developers will be able to solve it soon. I haven't tried turning off GPU acceleration, because without it, UHDp60 video won't scrub at all. Vegas will become sluggish to the point where it will be unusable.

Please do a video on how to render & edit without crashes the 5.3K from the new go pro hero 10.... I'm editing footage & the 5k render wont let me render at 5.3k on custom & the 5k render as annoying black bars at the sides, this is the same with the 8k... @@SonicVision Magix aren't really offer much of a choice between cloud and stand alone install. All the best features in V19 are for loud based subscription.... this is obvious marketing to push users into subscription rather than ownership. I just like to own my editing suite rather than rent. I'll stick with V18 for the time being and see how V19 goes.
All software will crash, but from my experience using VP19, its far more stable than previous VP18. Take note, VP19 will be constantly improve from time to time.

The only features I want seem to be in monthly subscriptions... the only thing I don't want is monthly subscriptions lol.

Too bad the text to speech is buried in the subscription model, that is a bad move, but otherwise the software is nice.
The Text To Speech tool in VEGAS Pro is "rented" from Microsoft Azure, this include the cloud storage for VEGAS Hub.

For some reason i cannot view any color grading or correction in the viewer when in the color panel.

Very nice improvements . To me davinci resolve is still the king of the hill tough.
For coloring wise indeed, Resolve is built for coloring

With Magix Vegas you have the choice of cloud or not. With Adobe no choice.
