I have a 1964 Falcon tudor post car that I found in Galion Ohio, It had sat parked in an alley for thirty years when I bought it, I completely rebuilt the fuel system, The cooling system and the brake system, I took it to some shows in Galion and everyone called it ''Grandma's car'' or ''The doctors car'' and knew where I got it! The front fenders were rotted to death so I bought a set of fenders for it and welded patches over the holes on the rest of the body when I had to stop working on it for a while and then lost interest in it! The car runs perfect and only has 42,000 miles on it and it has a red interior that's in perfect condition! I just need to buckle down and finish it! Ive read a few comments about the ac unit. I collect and have restored vintage underdash ac units. You can check out my playlist on air conditioning restoration. I have two of those like in that falcon. I personally pulled one of them from a 62. These are specific to 1962. Ford didn't do "factory" air conditioning" in these until 1967. I know what you mean 2 steps forward and 4 steps back. Was working on my 99 Dodge Ram back brakes. And just when you think your all done and ready to bleed brakes it springs a leak. One of the new wheel cylinders came apart when I brought too many onions pushing in the studs that push on the shoes. Thought I had it back together. Nope, built pressure and got a leak. My pleasure!
That Falcon would make for a cool daily driver! Always wanted one of them units
We hope to get it on the road..
looks like a ford cortina, very striking resemblance.
May have been the Canadian version... Fun rides..
Looks like a great first car for your son. Was that your mom in the background? You didn't introduce who it was. Keeep the videos coming I do enjoy them.
Brian, I think he would really enjoy this car... That was my Mama in the background, she doesn't really like the camera. Thanks for watching..
PEOPLE THINK ITS EASY TO BE THIS WAY HUH REV. I shared it with my buddy Bill he has 13 cars but we have no licenses now
It is fun and I love doing what we do.
Guess not,it was the button!!
Yep, the button was off of the 390 and it fit, but was a tad bit too long, when it spun it broken off the key...
Recovering from a latest episode of a kidney stone... great show !
No fun I hear... Praying the recovery continues..
Love that old falcon coupe,we never got them here in Australia only made the sedans know as xk xm then xp as the 1966 model.rev if l was in America l would have done all the bodywork and paint for free.
Wow.. Come on over... I am going to give it a shot and hopefully it comes out nicely... At least a light pole paint job... a light pole away it looks good.
Factory A/C but no reverse lights. Priorities, I guess.
I know... Not worried about reverse just staying cool.
Rev, those falcons were great cars. My dad had a 1963 station wagon and he liked it!
This one wants to be back on the road for sure.
fudgesicles on a hot day CAN'T be improved upon!
I love em too!
You guys are great inspiration and motivators Rev! I have an old 1975 Dodge Army truck that I used to plow snow with that had a bad carb on it causing it to get stuck from gas hydrolock. Been sitting for around 11 years. Watching you guys inspired me to get off my butt and try to get the old girl going. 1 new carb, 48 hours cylindar soak with PB blaster a bit of wrench turning on the crank, and some fresh fuel she was up and running like she just took a good nap! Gotta love all old cars...they're so easy to work on.
Get it done brother... Thanks for sharing.
Love the videos Pastor. God bless you and your family. Keep em coming
Thanks brother... God Bless
That fan is on back wards lol
Yep... I had to take it back off anyways... lesson learned.
the fan was on backwards the first time too. 😨
Created a blower fan instead of a sucker fan... I corrected it thanks to my other mistake.
Those window vent shades, call auto vent shade in Chamblee Georgia they'll have them for you. They might be in Buford Ga now.
