    Ingredients for bottom layer (下层材料):
    300g glutinous rice, soaked 4 hours and drained (糯米浸4小時,沥干))
    100ml thick coconut milk (浓椰浆)
    100ml water (水)
    1 tsp salt (小匙盐)
    2 pandan leaves,knotted (2片香兰叶,打结)
    Ingredients for top layer (上层材料:
    3 eggs (鸡蛋)
    120g caster sugar (细砂糖)
    25g plain flour (普通面粉)
    20g corn flour (玉米粉)
    200ml pandan juice (5 pandan leaves blended with 200ml of water) 200毫升班兰水 (5片班兰叶加入300毫升水打烂)
    150g thick coconut milk (浓椰浆)
    1/4 tsp salt (盐)
    Tapioca Seri Muka
    篮花糯米木薯班兰糕

    How do you steam it and the dessert comes out dry like this? When I try it, they always come out wet and the custard is never solid like this.

    I would use the same dish for the rice and custard, first steam the rice when cooked then add the custard and steam again.

    我也做成功了。谢谢老师无私分享。 我怕甜,糖减半用60g而已。成品微甜。
    普通面粉我加了5g, 感觉成品比视频的微微硬一点点。下次做我会考虑用35g普通面粉。
    食谱没有问题。那些成品做出来pandan layer 偏软的,会不会是跟食谱跟到。。。 (5片班兰叶加入300毫升水打烂)过滤后靠近300ml的pandan水没有量200ml的份,全部用到完呀?

    Hi there, thanks for the video, I made this today and have 2 questions:
    1. What exactly is Thick coconut milk? (Fat%?)
    2. Does the corn flour give out the flavour? Cause I used rice flour to replace as I don’t have corn flour, it’s not very tasty… (other ingredients the same)
    3. Any particular type of glutinous rice needed for this recipe?
    4. To make it more pandan flavour can I add extra pandan leaves on the upper layer when blending the pandan ?

      1. coconut cream. or if u make your own coconut milk, the first squeeze.
      2. no corn flour is the thickening agent aka starch. I suspect potato or sweet potato starch or arrowroot starch would do the same trick. rice flour wouldnt work as it's usually use for deep frying, frying food as it give the light and airy texture.
      3. yep add more if you'd like to gain the deeper green.upper layer as in the tip? I used it but not the stalks,roots as its more fibrous

    thanks for the tips using aluminium foil.. I usually use bluepeaflower for the glutinous rice for a tinge of natural blue colour.. try it!
