Kiribath means- kiri- milk bath- rice 😊 we eat kiribath with ලුණුමිරිස් Lunumiris which is a paste of red dried chillies onions salt and lime juice.😋 If you visit Sri Lanka don't forget to try kiribath 🙏 🇱🇰

We call this in my country "kakanin" means sweet steamed glutinous rice cake. The difference is we are using dark brown sugar instead of white and we are topping it with browned coconut milk curdles...
Wow. We have a similar disf and we call it Biko in the Philippines. But we only put brown sugar and coconut milk. Then topped with the fried curd of coconut milk on top. I want to try this version, I can smell it through the screen.

This is not kiribath. Kiribath does not use glutinous rice. Glutinous rice and normal rice are not the same.
