As someone who did the same challenge (completed it only a couple days ago due to one poor decision making me redo the run), I’m glad to see that there’s other people experiencing this very different, yet very fun way of replaying the game
Just finished my own first playthrough of the game and it is "bingeing challenge runs now that I've seen the end for myself" time! Have very much enjoyed your videos; hoping your channel gets some more attention because this is good stuff. Maybe this comment will give you a little boost in the eyes of The Algorithm!
Your Volvagia strat @ 14:10 was actually how I did it during the final titans gathering challenge in the slumber dojo, as it let me conserve a LOT of energy with a surprisingly small difference in completion time. (Hint: re-summon the Wizrobe after every shot so he attacks faster.)
I did this challenge myself last week! Except for the no damage part, you're insane lol. 2 things I did differently: 1. I actually found the buzz blob more useful than the spark, contrary to someone's comment in your other video. It was useful to stunlock the enemies in the last stage of the Null boss fight 2. If you farm for 2 more Chilly Cactus in the Gerudo Desert, you can sell them for the rupees needed to make the smoothie. That way you can still avoid picking up green rupees. You do end up having 2 extra rupees in your wallet though
@@SwitchSummit It was admittedly a complete accident that the Buzz Blob was helpful for me. I half didn't want to get the Eastern Temple side quest, and half didn't realize you can kill the Sparks with the bomb fish lol
An other challenge, least use of link power least time Least killing enemies Least detection by enemies Complete with less then ten echos Quickest 100%
Impossible, unfortunately. :P Right of the bat, Bombfish is required in jabul Waters and, at least in the beginning, it requires 4 tp to summon. HOWEVER, If you don't limit yourself on optional rifts, it THEOREDICALLY might be possible to get an early tri level 4 by doing enough small rifts(an extra 4, I think, as 1 is mandatory for area progression and the other requires bombs) and doing the Gerudo main quest before Jabul Waters, which would reduce Bombfish's tp usage to 3.
For the faron temple boss, you dont need to hit its eye. you can just use an electric monster to activate the thingys on its legs to knock it down. tho i'm not sure if that would actually help in any way, but its another way to beat it
8:30 probably too late for you to see this, but I believe you can get swordfighter energy in that boss fight by feeding things to the plant - if you let it eat a summoned monster, it’ll give a tiny bit of energy.
I rather disagree about the Wind Canon being useless honestly It is very useful to push stronger enemies around (or even in the void) in a much more reliable fashion than the other wind options On top of that, it being an object means enemies (such as the pesky Lizalfos) get stunned by hitting it and it can’t be destroyed either It is imo the best wind option that is avaible It’s also already been said in the comments but, Buzz Blob’s stunlock makes it very much worth it and on par if not a better electric option than Spark It’s very cool how drastically different the challenge is depending on which options you pick tho, I really like that
Lol. Spark did provide some reassurance during the sidescrolling sections, but yeah, if buzz blob made the final boss easier, that would trump just about anything.
I wonder if the level of Link's weapons affects his damage output? I noticed he was still able to do the spin attack even though the sword you gave him was level 1, and Zelda can't use the spin until level 2.
Oh however, one difference than your run was that I avoided all warp points (including in dungeons) except the first one which was mandatory. Also, you did an incredible job!! Glad you had that save without the rupee
Remember if you are runing out of ideas minimum dungeon echoes run glitchless. Super entertaining video. 👍 Hero mode no damage was too extreme of a jump. A question to anyone. So links inheries the crystal weapons status? For example the sword level, no bow, bombs, etc? So full upgraded crystal weapons would make the last boss fight easier? Would be a neat little detail if true.
@@SwitchSummit To be honest i havent guiving it much taught. I think the correct term would be "used". For example completing a dungeon only using the bed & an attack echo. Since you would be loading each dungeon as an individual video not a full playthrough, you can probably limit yourself from a bigger list of learned echoes.
I could never be that patient. Well done.
"Lazily drifting to the left" This guy knows some moves!

Also : Team Elephant Statue unite!
I love how drastically different our experience has been, this was very entertaining and insightful to watch
fun fact, if you feed non-bomb echoes to the Faron Temple miniboss, it will spit out energy blobs

Wow, you really must have a lot, A LOT of patience for this, congrats
I love how clean your UI is at the end! Somehow, it makes it seem worth it despite all the struggling to get there.

Good job! Interesting comment regarding the buzz blob. Anything that would have made the final boss easier would have been more than welcome!

Congratulations on 400 subscribers!!
Thanks subscriber #16! Growth seems to be picking up now that I'm covering a new release. Who would have thought...
I would love to see a challenge of minimum echoes summoned to see how much echoes are actually required in this game.
Stay tuned! Coming shortly!
I did the entire game at level one, not knowing you could upgrade your swordfighter form. No wonder Gannon took so long!
Really enjoyable series of videos. Looking forward to more challenge runs of great games :)
Thanks, have another in this series coming shortly!
@@SwitchSummit sounds great
Thanks. That's one challenge I'm not going to give myself. I started this and quickly realized how tedious it was.
That continuity not breaking is quite nice, good job Nintendo haha
An other challenge, least use of link power
least time
Least killing enemies
Least detection by enemies
Complete with less then ten echos
Quickest 100%
Keep the good work up bro
I wonder how fun a “three triangle only” run would be, in which you would play as if Tri’s echo capacity never increased.
That's an interesting idea. I'm working on something kind of similar at the moment.
Impossible, unfortunately. :P

Ahhh. Despite all the time and effort I put into this game, I love learning new stuff in the comments here!
that's actually crazy that you don't have to pick up the bow or bombs and it accounts for it in the end with Link.
Thank you for making this video.
Tectites are my most HATED zelda enemy.

Very impressive

I wondered that as well
This is what I aspired for but ended up with the bow and an 11th echo. I was OK with getting hit though.
Oh however, one difference than your run was that I avoided all warp points (including in dungeons) except the first one which was mandatory.

A question to anyone. So links inheries the crystal weapons status? For example the sword level, no bow, bombs, etc? So full upgraded crystal weapons would make the last boss fight easier? Would be a neat little detail if true.
Just curious - do you mean minimum echoes learned or summoned?
I was wondering the same if Link inherited the sword's level. I wasn't able to tell.
@@SwitchSummit To be honest i havent guiving it much taught. I think the correct term would be "used". For example completing a dungeon only using the bed & an attack echo. Thanks for the idea!
You had to pull Null's arms?? I just had Link and Lynel slash at them
The level 3 Darknut breaks the game!
That final battle was insane, hours to beat? I can bet. I see why speedrun ers manipulate it o.o
Wait you could pull Null’s arms I just slowly had link and my echoes deal damage and ran away
Lol. That's how I did it too on my first playthrough.
Also did ghoma was beaten without hitting the enery crystal in the legs?
Not sure I understand. I did use Spark to light up Gohma's 3 green things.
@@SwitchSummit Ah thanks for the clarification. Didnt see the spark lighting up ghoma crystals in the video. So i got confused.
Ah yeah that's just my editing I guess. I leave out a lot to get the length down.
Could you not have used your sparks on ghomas legs to get it down instead of building up to it?
Oh does that work? I didn't even think Spark could climb that wall!
@@SwitchSummit well technically im not 100% sure if it works i just know electricity shocks those points haha
Is this a new playthrough from the last one or a more edited vod of it
New playthrough. Bare minimum of everything plus no damage.
I feel like using menu smuggling and its related glitches could cut things down even further!
