You are so right on that throttle cable tube. Bought a KFX and that was broken soooo I ordered one as a kit that came with the little cover and that tube and it was to long for the throttle cable. When I put it on the throttle was halfway. If I started it, it would have raced the engine. 🥴 Probably time for a new fuel line also from the tank to the carb they recommend replacing every 4 yrs.
@@antoniozepeda252 yea after taking the carb outta mine I realized I mis spoke. You do need a screw driver to pop it out due to the housing being so close. My bad
When installing new or rebuilt carb or running out of fuel, put the pet cock to prime. They are vacuum operated. Prime just flows like most pet cocks. But dont leave on prime you can fuel starve, because the vacuum operation draws fuel faster and helps keep bowl full on un even surfaces under heavy throttle.
I just got the quad on a trade and the carburetor connection is a three wire and the 4 wheeler has a 4 wire connection…. Can anyone help in anyway? Send a picture of your carb electric connection so I can see if I even have the right carburetor. Thanks
@@blakemccormick6986 same I'm thinking on selling the carb I bought an buying a new carb cause the carb on it rn does not give me enough play for the throttle cable
Thanks bro you’re like one of the only people that explained that situation with the throttle cable thank you
You rock brother!! Only guy to cover a lot, and the close ups!! Appreciate you man!

Where do all the hoses hook up on the carb?
Amazon carb will leave you pissed off. 99% of them the jets are too small. Go with factory save yourself the long term headache
Yamaha raptor 660 fuel petcock replaces this one directly. Just cap the vacuum port on the carb. Gets rid of the headache.
If you rotate the cable guide, you’ll get enough slack to pop the cable out pretty easy. No screw driver necessary.
What do you mean
