Hello, dear Margareth! Thanks so much for mentioning me as one of your crafting YT buddies! I’m so honored! One of my viewers told me I needed to watch this video as you mentioned me. I have to tell you I’m a big fan of Curiosity Inc too! I’ve watched all the series that he has. I love when he buys the whole houses and we get to go through them with him! He’s got a lovely voice and seems like such a kind, wonderful person. Thank you, again! I love your videos and it’s so fun to see your beautiful face and your craft room looks like a wonderland! Big hugs to you from Montana!! 🤗❤
Oh my gosh Gayle, thank you so much ❤️ You have no idea what this means to me. Let me take the opportunity to tell you how much of an inspiration you are. Not only as a creative artist but as a human being. Your kindness makes me want to be a better person. 🙏🏼❤️
OMG my favourite lady, I can’t believe I have just put a face to your name, I absolutely love you and your videos.. your so very talented… I felt myself hiding your face and listening to your voice and uncovering trying to connect and adding your face to the name.. lol 😂 I just love your videos 🤗 xx
This is so great to see you, it feels like we have been blind dating for months now and finally we really meet! Love that we share a love for StarTrek, I remember I was in awe of Seven of Nine and captain Janeway. As an autistic woman, I could relate to Seven of Nine. The one thing I find so great about your videos is that you are always so prepared and organised. Your instructions are clear and simple. The other day my mom was complaining about the youtube-ers she was watching on cardmaking and how they were always looking for things that are misplaced. And all I thought was, not my Margreth, that is just a breeze to watch 😀 Love what you are doing, hope you make all your dreams come true
Thank you for doing this and being so transparent! I'm in the US and love getting to know people from other parts of the world. I love your videos. You have definitely influenced my style. Thank you so much!! You are a gem!!
How wonderful to put a face to your voice! It is so nice to ‘see’ you! I thoroughly enjoy your videos, love how down to earth you are. It is so nice to ‘get to know you’. Thanks forgetting close and personal, I feel it strengthens your connection to all of us. Wishing you continued success! 😀💗
One of your best videos! You’ve done and you’ve done a lot❣️ Getting to know the lady Margarthe behind the “Hands” makes it all so much more FUN❣️ Don’t worry about showing you face, it is a beautiful face, full of life and expression, just what I hoped you would be, REAL❣️CAN’t wait for part 2 of you journey❣️
So happy for this video, Margreth! It's nice to put such a lovely face with your pleasant voice. So cool to find out that we share an anniversary! My husband and I got married on July 4, 2010. It's so nice to hear about your life. I love that we all come from different backgrounds and come to crafting with different perspectives.
I live in Oklahoma and love it. I moved here in 1998 and can't imagine living anywhere else. We also have cats, three to be exact. All rescued orphans but very spoiled cats now.
What a wonderful video Margareth! It is lovely getting to know you. I relate to so much of what you said and I was smiling as I heard you mention so many things that we all face in this community. We are just about the same age, so I had to say that the 80’s music era was the best!! Good choice. Thank you so much for mentioning me! I didn’t see that coming. You are a very talented lady and I love watching you too. Usually on my telly while I am crafting. Not enough hours in a day, are there? Looking forward to seeing your contribution to the Feb collaboration!! Yay!! Well done on your UA-cam channel growth! That is amazing!! Hugs and smiles 🌸💗☺️🌷
Are you kidding me Angela? ❤️ I absolutely adore you, and have been following you for years. This makes me so happy knowing you watch my videos . You are making dance around my craft room at the moment. Thanks so much sweetheart 🥰
Oh my goodness. It is so nice to put a face with a voice and hands. LOL I am from Louisiana but hubby and I are now retired and living in St Petersburg Florida. Love watching your videos. ❤❤ Just came across this one video and extremely happy that I did. Will watch part 2 after this one.
Thank you so much for letting us get to know you!! I’ve been watching you for several months now and this is among one of my favorites you’ve done. Found out that we love a lot of the same things, like Star Trek and you mentioned most all my favorite UA-camrs! Thank you for putting your lovely face with your voice😊
Margareth, thank you so much for putting this together. It is so great to put a face to the voice. You are a beautiful woman, with a beautiful soul. I am looking forward to the next one. It was so nice to learn all these things about you. We come from very different backgrounds but share the same passions. Bless you dear one and again, thank you for all you do.
I will say I have watched you pretty much every video since I found you. I love your style and how chatty you are. If someone asks who my favorite UA-camrs are. You, Bohemian crafting, The Paper Outpost, and Treasure Books. You four I never skip and always am excited to watch. Keep up the great work!
Hi Margreth, I so enjoyed this video I watched every single part of it. I loved seeing and hearing about your life it was so interesting. Thank you for being brave enough to do it. Lots of love Bella. Oh and thank you so much for mentioning our channel. Xxx❤❤
Margreth this video was amazing! You are so brave doing a full face interview. I would be terrified! Absolutely loved this hour with you and getting to know you better. And Kirsty and Phil!!! Oh my days that had been my most favourite show for over 20 years!!! I love it! 😁 off to watch part 2 now xxx
Oh Margreth so happy to finally meet you! I remember when you said you were uncertain about making this kind of video. Kudos to you my friend. You did it and what an amazing job you did. I loved having the chance to know you better on a more personal level. Thanks so much for sharing. I can’t wait for your next one. ❤
This was just wonderful. Really enjoyed learning a little more about you. We are all very glad you decided to make YT your career. I know it isn’t as profitable as you would like, but you do have much influence within the crafting community. Thanks for opening up and allowing us to get to know you even better. 🤗❤️ Tamara
This video was awesome! I am interested in everything Dutch. My wonderful grandmother was Dutch and Irish mostly and she always kept Dutch articles, pictures and knicknacks around her house. Her father's family emigrated to New York from Drenthe in 1660. My daughter got married outside under threat of rain in the Colorado mountains, on 4th of July, 2016. Afterward, it did rain for awhile and then out came a beautiful double rainbow. I loved learning about your career in everything bridal and how you got into junk journaling. I believe your channel will grow and grow, you are so talented. I do love your accent and humor! Thank you so much for sharing!
Very Interesting, I watch all of your UA-cam videos to get some ideas, I want to make a set of Junk Journals, about 20 with some very old Readers Digest I have, so I have been looking at your videos to get some different ideas. Thanks again for sharing your story, all the best. Andre WA OZ.
It’s not ridiculous at all that you are at almost 15k subscribers now, Margreth! I have seen your channel grow from some time early last year, and the work and dedication you have put into it are evident. Well done. I find that really inspirational. Now, I realised that I mostly comment on your haul videos - which I absolutely love. They fulfill all my junk journal shopping needs. (I live in Ireland, and thrifting here is rather expensive, and in such a small country there is much less “stuff” to be found in the charity shops 😭, so I get my kicks when I watch your hauls from the never-ending treasure trove of Dutch thrift shops 😉) I do like your style and the brilliant items you come up with but - and please don’t take this as criticism - I just don’t have the time to watch 50 minute videos. (Hehe, same with Alex from Curiosity Inc. - also one of my favourite channels, but I usually skip any video of his that is longer than 30 mins. Bad fan 😂) Anyway, just to say thank you for the Q&A and for sharing a bit more about you. I loved seeing your face - it makes your channel so much more personable now that I know what you look like and who you are. Here’s to the next 15,000!
Hello Margareth! I've just gotten in to junk journaling in the last 3-4 months and found your channel recently, I've been binge watching your videos and following along! I just wanted to comment about your subscriber count! You just said that you had 15k followers! And now you're at 44k!!
Thank you for letting us get to know you better. I also love Curiousity Inc, Hairy Tornado and sci fi television programs, Also very many of the journalers you mentioned are an inspiration. Good for you for being so brave! Thrifting for treatures is something I really enjoy as well. Have you any interest in gardening? Garden Answer is a wonderful channel and so relaxing. Keep creating and I will keep cheering you onward. :)
Oh Margreth, this was so much fun learning more about you. My youngest daughters in laws are Dutch and I love the Dutch accent. I have just discovered your channel last week and am enjoying watching your videos. I live in Canada and am having some health challenges this past year…so watching channels like yours really give me a lift. I adore the way you call everyone including yourself love or lovey. It makes me smile always. I am enjoying working my way through your mass make March videos and trying some of the stuff. Thank you for putting yourself out there for the world to enjoy! An your face is beautiful!!!❤
You are absolutely charming! I have always loved your sense of humor and now I see that your outlook on life is kindness and happiness and gentleness. You're the total package! I look forward to many more years of learning junk journaling from you and laughing with you about life. Thank you so much for this face-to-face video "meet and greet."
What a delight this was! Thank you Margreth, for being vulnerable and sharing more of yourself with us all. There were so many things you said that I would also say if describing myself. I was born in ‘71 so I’m right there with you on the 80s music. I know every word to every song I have ever heard, past to present. Because I cannot sing (not that that stops me) that is both a blessing and curse. I follow all those same You Tubers and feel like your descriptions were spot on. My top would be you, Eva (the only Patreon I subscribe) Nik, Julia, Cori Dahmen, and Luise Heinzl. Yes, you’re up there with the best, in my book. Big hugs from Ky, USA.
Thank you for doing this video! Love hearing all about you and can't wait to see part 2. You ate such a lovely person and talented crafter. Your method of showing what tools are needed and instructions are fantastic! So nice to put a face to your beautiful voice. From Harrisonburg, VA, USA, in the Shenandoah Valley. 🥰🥰🥰
OMG you are so sweet! Thanks so much for mentioning me in your lovely chat! I'm so happy to get to know you and congratulations on going full time UA-cam! Woop! Woop! It takes guts! You go, girl! 😃💪🏻❤ Hugs, Barbara
Thank you for sharing this video! It was wonderful to get to know you better. You are my favorite crafting UA-camr. Also, it was great to see the photo of your snoring kitty's. My cat, Frank snores ALOT too. LOL!!
Thank you so much for the mention and for watching our channels. You are amazing and I love your style. I am looking forward to the collab this month with RachandBella. Blessings E
Oh my gosh ,Miss Edith . Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video . I watch your channel all the time , it gives me so much inspiration and joy. Please know that you and your family have been in my prayers 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I live in Oklahoma and got a kick out of you liking country music. You are my favorite junk journal UA-camr. I have tons of supplies and am also a treasure hunter with a vintage booth in a shop. In inspire me to get started down this junk journal adventure just need to take the plunge and do it. Love everything Sevenplaza❤
@helen I'm from Oklahoma and live in Nashville and I got a kick out of that part too! 'Oklahoma is the cultural center of the universe - Hoyt Axton' lol 😅
I heard about you from Ceri the Crafter. I bought your journal thing. But I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 😂😅 Such enthusiasm makes me enthused 🎉 Thank you for all you do for us!
Margreth, thank you for sharing so much about yourself! You are absolutely lovely. I thoroughly enjoy your videos - I almost always learn something, and you always make me laugh. Thank you for sharing your talents, passion and sense of humor with us.
So lovely to meet your beautiful face to go with your lovely voice. I agree with all the crafters you mentioned and love them all. My dad said what lovely people the Dutch were when he was there during WW 2. I love your 2 fur babies. I have 2 males, they are my family. From Diane, Cambridge, Canada. ❤
Hello my creative new friend Margareth! My name is Jennifer, and I am one of your 35k new subscribers! Well done you! Perhaps I found you in the twenties of thousands, idk, but until watching this video now, I only knew you by your voice and hands. It's fun to get to know the talented lady I have been following daily, who is such a spot on tutor. I love it. Your videos have been playing over and over again as I join you in my craft room. I began by watching, then trying, and now mass making junk journal projects. I'm much better at paper crafting because of you. I particularly love your teaching style along with your day to day stories and explanations. I have two cats as well, but mine often end up smack dab in the middle of my Journaling projects multiple times a day. No exaggeration! Besides just keeping a Cat eye on me, they like to walk right across my projects and lay down, as if their ability to take one more step is too much for them, during what I can only imagine is a quality inspection of my work! Plus, it makes me take a beat, coming back to my project with a new perspective adding to the fun. I'm paaawsitive if allowed, Fluffs and Clover would unanimously subscribe to your channel too. I'm rooting for you as you create, teach, and share in your UA-cam endeavor. Your friend, Jennifer from Las Vegas, Nevada. (PS, It isn't all sin in my city, regardless of the long standing slogan. Ha!)🎲♦️♠️♥️♣️🎰🎱🎱🃏🕹🎮🎯🎲
This was so kind of you to take the time to make this video and share yourself with us. You are a lovely soul. I caught myself the other day calling someone lovey!! 😊😊
What a delight it is to see your sweet, smiling face, Margreth. What a special treat it was to hear you speak & to put a pretty face to your hands. Lol Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs & Blessings, Sharron 🤗🌸💗
I'm glad you did this for us. I personally LOVE your voice! This is the 1st time that I'm in on the start of a youtubers channel and I'm enjoying all of the projects. The Texas twin are adorable!
So glad to find such a talented Dutch crafter on YT! I am myself French, based in the Netherlands, and I have started junk journaling recently (a great way to use the so many different techniques I have learned over the years). I like your clear tutorials, joyfulness, superb English and your tips on where to find nice Dutch supplies (please, continue to provide them!). I am following you with a lot of pleasure.
Thanks for sharing so much of yourself. As you were naming off each individuals that you watch on UA-cam, I was quite suprised to notice that I also watch every single UA-camr you named. It's small world for sure. Have great day, Jeannette.
WoW!!! We have so many things in common. I'm 10 yrs older but that's okay. I love love love stratagem games and my father used to play Monopoly with us on Sunday afternoons. It was pretty cut throat! Grew up with Star Trek but I'm not a Trekkie. We definitely watch the same Utubers. Fortunately I've been married for almost 36 yrs and have one daughter and granddaughter. The joys of my life. I've done most crafts: sewing, painting, cross stitch, embroidery, card making, scrapbooking and now am totally hooked on Junk Journaling. If you saw my studio, you would realize that organization of that room is not a priority. Thank you for sharing yourself with your followers.
You did a great job putting your face out there for all of us to see. You are so sweet to share about yourself. :) Congratulations on taking the leap and starting your business! Such an inspiration!!!
Thank you Margreth. It was so good to finally see the pretty face that goes with that cute accent. I get the biggest kick out of hearing your cat snore! I have never heard a cat snore so loud! It makes me chuckle every time. I have three cats, Lou, Missy and Reese. (who looks like Daisy) I love your channel and I so enjoy you. I am also a huge Star Trek fan. I grew up watching the original and have watched every on since. I am amazed at how cheap thrift stores are in the Netherlands and areas in the US. I live in Michigan, USA and they are expensive in my area. Thank you for all of the good ideas you give us. God bless you and your husband.
Thank you for opening up to us, it’s lovely to get to know you, for me you are up there with all the UA-camrs you mentioned and definitely a big source of inspiration to getting me back to filming again! Big waves and hugs from Scotland xxx💕
I think that expecting someone to know what they want to do for a living at 12 years old is no different than expecting someone to go to college right out of high school PAYING for schooling that most people don't use once they graduate. I have a friend who was a school teacher and she really encouraged her students to go to a trade school out of high school and then if they wanted to go to college they have a trade to fall back on. I love math so as soon as I knew there was a job that would use math I knew that was what I wanted to do as a secular job. I have worked in accounting now since 1989. As for learning another language I think most people in non english speaking countries learn english as a second language. Maybe schools here in the US encourage learning a second language now but they didn't when I was in school. Thanks for telling us about yourself. Now I will go back to watching the video.
So wonderful to see the beautiful face that belongs to your wonderful voice! When you started mentioning the videos you watch I realized we are soul mates because I watch almost every one as well. I enjoyed this video so much and am looking forward to the next one.
Margrete I so enjoyed getting to know you in your video. Nice to put a face to your voice. You did an excellent job in sharing your life with us. Can’t wait for the next part !!
Hi. Many many years ago, I read a book called Orange On Top, it was about some children in the Netherlands during the occupation. 60 years now, I think about that book often, it gave me empathy for all the occupied countries and their children.
Margreth, this was so much fun. It is nice to put a face to the hands. I had to laugh when you were listing your favorite You Tubers as most are also my favorites. I am always so jealous of the wonderful treasures you and Tim find. Please keep up your fabulous work. If I am ever lucky enough to get near Rotterdam again, I would love to meet you and share coffee in person.
Margreth, Thank you for being vulnerable with us. Thank you for just being you. Your background is very relatable. Trekky, family life growing up, everything bridal. Your very personal life experiences that are part of your story makes us love you even more. It felt like a wonderful conversation. You are lovely and so friendly. I think many of us would call you a friend.😚
So enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about your journey. Thank you for being willing to put yourself out there so that we can get to know you better. Love your channel.
Hi Margreth! Thank you for appearing on camera so we could see your lovely face! I've been a fan of yours since I first ran across your channel last summer. It is not a wonder that you have so many subscribers - you are clear in your instructions and are so warm and open in your conversations with us that you feel like an old friend! I've been going back and watching your earlier videos on days when you don't have something new, or when I am crafting away and and am bored with everyone doing the same thing. I love Curiosity, Inc. too (especially the Potter House series!) and follow every junk journaler that you mentioned! I'm looking forward to your contribution to RachandBellaCrafts collaboration on Friday, as well as Part 2 of your Q & A !
So happy to see you margreth, and to know more about you, your such a lovely person, I love listening to you and watching you doing your magic with your crafty bits, your such an inspiration, it's great to put a face to the hands now 😊 xx
I was still watching when I made the last comment. I just wanted to say, thank you so much now for the shout out, you made my day with your kind words. Xx
You are Beautiful 💜 I have loved watching this and learning about you. I’m rather new to your channel, and junk journaling in general. I LOVE junk journals but have not started creating any yet. I hope to….right now I’m a collector of things to start junk journaling. Thank you, so much, for all of your videos, and for being willing to share your personal life with us. So nice to see your beautiful face 💛
So very happy to hear your beautiful words. You are a lovely lady that inspires so many of us. I am so happy to have found you and your lovely art! Thank You for Sharing your love with each of us.
This was great. Your quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-camrs. Your stories are interesting to listen to and your projects are always great. Your very talented.
Was warmtching something saying that young people are getting to where they cannot watch things longer than shorts or TikTok & are worse at communicating. Too much social media instant gratification, they say. I enjoy hearing you talk and seeing you create your terrific works of art. Obviously if you designed wedding dresses you already had an artistic eye. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thank you for telling us about yourself and it was nice seeing your face, we love some of the same you tubers You inspire me a lot since I have started following you. I love your style of paper crafting and look forward to seeing what you make next.
Love the fact that you connected by showing your face…as a UA-cam watcher of all crafts…it can get sooooo boring to constantly just watch hands…your skin is amazing 🥰
Margreth, I really enjoyed this look into what makes you tick!!! So glad you have been able to move on from the bad marriage to your new life with Tim and the cute kitties!! Sort of like taking junk and making it into something beautiful!!! I really love Curiosity Inc as well!!!! Alex has the most amazing adventures and is such a down to earth guy. I love your channel and wish you even more growth for your channel in 2023🥰🥰🥰
Margreth what an amazing video. It was so sweet that you let us get to know you. You have had an awesome life so far, can only get better! I have been a paper crafter for years. Always learning something new. Your tutorials are great and informative and you tell us what we need and give a minute to grab so we can craft along. You're special!!!💜💜💜
Hoi Margaret, leuk om meer over je te leren. I'm Dutch as well and my mother, who was 10 at the end of the war, was also sent to England, to Crewe, on the south coast. It was just for the summer, "to fatten up". That would make sense. The war ended on May 5 for us and that gave children a few months to get some proper nourishment before school started for real again.
So brave of you to make this video that is so very different from what you normally do! Extremely glad you did! I discovered you maybe halfway through your 100-Day Challenge, and you very quickly have become one of my favorite creators. I so appreciate that you make everything seem possible….that I too can create these beautiful things! Keep creating!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. So nice to put a face to the voice. Love your channel and how much you inspire me all the time. If I have difficulty thinking of a project to work on, I just go to your channel to find inspiration. Love your sense of humor and can't wait to see Part 2.
It’s so lovely to put a face to your voice, because your voice is now so familiar! I feel as if I have met you properly now! Thanks for having the courage to share your life with us 💖
Barbara was the first channel I watched in my junk journal adventure, too. I found her through the rabbit hole of craft room reorganization and wanted to see what she did to need so many things that weren't your typical craft supplies. Luise's channel was my second. Thanks for this video. You've had quite the adventure this past year...Congrats! 👏👏👏
How wonderful to see you and hear your story! My husband is a very big Star Trek fan, so I have probably seen all the episodes of all the Star Trek series at least once! In fact we are working our way through Deep Space 9 right now! Thank you for sharing with us!
It is so nice to put a face with the voice that I have been listening to for a while now. We are the same age and I love seeing your thrift shop treasures as I love to thrift shop as well. Thank you for sharing things about your life with us and how you got started doing these videos. I really enjoy watching you create!
Oh Margareth hello so awesome to meet you tonight. You watch everyone I watch but one. My favorite UA-camr is Lusise she makes me laugh every time I watch her. And Barbara is so sweet and free at how she crafts. Gayle is awesome too. I’ve watched these crafters for so long. I use to watch Barbara when she lived here in the states. I really like these kind of videos now and then. I’m getting ready to retire and then I can get back to doing videos myself. I’ll be watching. Love love your videos.
Oh, Margreth! All your videos are great but this video is my favorite. What a beautiful, honest, transparent and authentic person you are. I just think it's been a very touching moment to get to know more about you. Thank you!!! ❤
I discovered you about a month ago. I’m from Texas in the USA! You are so refreshing and I love your videos! Thank you so much! I want to do every craft thing you do - but have no reason to - I have made journals before - but have no outlet for them. I do follow you and try your crafts. Keep brining these youTubes to us please - they are so refreshing! Your English is PERFECT! Have fun with your new fabulous journey!
Thank you for this chat video. I am thirteen years older than you. I love watching you. I’m catching up on last year’s episodes on the days you don’t post now. I appreciate all that you do. I find it amazing that you are married five years this year and I am married fifty years in October. Yes I was sixteen when I got married. I feel like we are friends. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Margreth!!! Hello beautiful! It’s so wonderful to see you. I’ve loved you for so long, and now here you are my friend, in front of the camera. Can’t believe it’s a year already because I started watching you from the beginning and I still can’t wait for each video you do. I never doubted that you’d go far and be big on UA-cam. Your personality, humour and kindness are all such amazing parts of who you are and you touch us all with your honesty and your truth. Big love to you sweetie! ❤❤❤
Yes it’s great to “meet” you. You are so sweet. I’m a homebody and love to craft. Love ❤️ my cats 🐈 who are my “kids”. Your babies are adorable. Hugs 🤗 Dee
It's awesome to see you and to know more about you, Margreth! You are definitely in my top 3 most watched UA-camrs and influencers. I love your style, your voice, your work, everything! My absolute favorite thing that you do/say, is the gentle way that you refer to yourself as Lovey! Beautiful!!!
Hello there, I already feel like you are a dear friend. I am 71, and you are teaching me junk journals, I am out of my comfort zone, but I am also having fun. My husband died 3 years ago, and it is really hard to fill in the time that you had together. I am binge watching you at the moment. I have an awful lot of craft materials, and the junk journal is the way to go. I have a lot of digital items on my computer because I was also a fan of digital scrapbooking, so that has come in handy. My choice of subjects has had to change but I am getting there. You are a good teacher. Thank you so much for your time. Sending love and hugs from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
OMG!! So nice to put a face with the voice. I was also born in January so that makes us Capricorn sisters. I love your videos because they are so peaceful and organized. I am also a Star Trek fan and absolutely live Spick and Capt Picard.
Like this video very much, feels like we have a real conversation😍 and yes- one way of learning a language really quick and in a kind of natural way- is to watch tv-series (and YT) in the language you want to learn. AND often the original text in a tv series makes much more sense. translation is butchering the meaning of things and jokes many times I think.
I don’t know how I missed this video! I’ve been watching you almost since you started & probably all your videos for the last year! I’m so happy this came up on my feed! This was very brave to share this! Your channel is my favorite! You are such a beautiful person! ❤❤❤
Margreth! It was so nice to see you and hear your story! I really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video and thank you so much for all of your inspiration! Hugs!
Thank you for being so willing to share your personal life ! If you get any negative or judgmental comments, just know that they only reflect the nature of the writers and have nothing to do with you ! It is so nice to connect with someone who is so open and I love the anticipation that I will be able to share freely with you.
Margareth...I have to say you are fabulous! Even my husband loves to watch...he calls you our friend...I think you got him with Alfred and the underwear modeling...he even remembers his sister Lily the chef...😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much for sharing about yourself. I’m blown away at how much I have in common with you. From the 80’s music (I’m from the same city as Prince), to the love of gaming (can’t tell you how many amazing Sims homes I’ve designed 😂) and even a crummy divorce to marrying the absolute of my life. And I agree…white chocolate is not chocolate. ❤❤❤
Oh, Margareth, I had to comment after watching this! I am very new to junk journaling but I fell in love with it. You are one of my favorite UA-camrs to watch. You are so lovely and creative and funny! I learn a lot from you and enjoying watching your videos. I especially like that you are so natural and keep mistakes in. Makes it easier for new journalers to not feel so self conscious of our mistakes. I knew from watching other videos that we were almost the same age, I was born in September of 1968, but I didn't know how many other things we have in common. I loved hearing that you love Star Trek, because I do too! And, Seven of Nine is also my favorite character (among many). Before Seven it was K'Ehleyr and in fact, my name when playing games is Kehleyr, as is my email, and has been since the Next Gen was on. LOL I also loved hearing that you are a gamer. I am too, video and board games (but not Monopoly, sorry lol). We have a huge stack of boards games at home that me and my 3 grown kids play. We are all video gamers too. People are often surprised that I am a gamer and not just my kids (they were born in 91, 93 and 94), and I'm like "who do you think taught them to be gamers??" I love Prince's music as well and hate heavy metal. There were other similarities too. I think you and I would be fast friends. I have an instagram: Mamabearjournals. I don't think I'd ever do UA-cam, but I will continue to watch you and many of the others you named that I already watch. Keep doing a great job, I learn a lot from you!
This video was so much fun to watch. I was born in the US in 1961 and was raised a total Trekkie! We were not about Star Wars like so many others because Star Trek was our jam. My husband and I met online and played hours and hours of Counterstrike together. So much fun. Now I am into true crime and junk journals. Am looking forward to part two of this series. My bestie and I just love your videos and creativity. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us! I've loved your style right from the start but I also know that its not just your style that keeps us returning to your channel every day. It's because we feel a connection to you, yourself. Here I am in Canada watching my friend Margareth, who is half a world away. This junk journal community is like a friend group that is spread all over the world and I am so happy that you have become part of it!
This is so fascinating! Thank you for sharing not just your creativity, but so much of your personal life. I didn't realize people asked so many personal questions though! P.S. Julie from Camelia Crafts youtuber always cracks me up too. I love all the youtubers you've already mentioned, and I'm supporting a few who've only just started, because I can only imagine how stressful it would be to be crafting and video it and have no views, to begin with anyway. Lots of work and courage required. I truly appreciate everyone who puts their work out on YT, and is willing to share their creativity and expertise. Some of our crafting ladies have been going through some really tough times.
Such a wonderful story to hear and I’m so happy to learn more about you. We have many parallels and I can relate to many things you have said. I’m excited to support your work and look forward to all of the videos. Congrats on all of your successes. 🎉🎉
Hello. I'm Lisa from the UK. I have recently discovered your channel and have watched many of your videos. I am very very new to journal making and absolutely love you. You have a very gentle spirit. This video was so lovely.. wonderful to get to know you. I am sending love to you from the UK. xxxx
Also a 1970 baby here and let me say, you are beautiful and don’t look a day over 40. This must mean I need to move to the Netherlands! Thanks for the video. I enjoy your videos. ❤
Now you have 40 thousand subscribers 🎉 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 your the best x
Thank you so much my dear Inge , you are such a good friend 😍👍🏻😘
@@SevenplazaCreative ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for doing this and being so transparent! I'm in the US and love getting to know people from other parts of the world. I love your videos. You have definitely influenced my style. Thank you so much!! You are a gem!!
Thank you my dear 🥰
How wonderful to put a face to your voice! It is so nice to ‘see’ you! I thoroughly enjoy your videos, love how down to earth you are. It is so nice to ‘get to know you’. Thanks forgetting close and personal, I feel it strengthens your connection to all of us. Wishing you continued success! 😀💗
Thanks Sandra , that is exactly what I was trying to accomplish. Just to get closer to all of you ☺️👍🏻😘
One of your best videos! You’ve done and you’ve done a lot❣️
Getting to know the lady Margarthe behind the “Hands” makes it all so much more FUN❣️ Don’t worry about showing you face, it is a beautiful face, full of life and expression, just what I hoped you would be, REAL❣️CAN’t wait for part 2 of you journey❣️
Thank you so much my dear ☺️🥰
I live in Oklahoma and love it. I moved here in 1998 and can't imagine living anywhere else. We also have cats, three to be exact. All rescued orphans but very spoiled cats now.
👍🏻😁😽
I absolutely adore you, and have been following you for years. This makes me so happy knowing you watch my videos . You are making dance around my craft room at the moment.
Thanks so much sweetheart 🥰
@@SevenplazaCreative awwwww that’s just amazing!!! Thank you Lovely! You’re a very talented and creative artist! Enjoy your videos. 🌸☺️💗🌷
Thank you ☺️
Thank you so much for letting us get to know you!! I’ve been watching you for several months now and this is among one of my favorites you’ve done. Found out that we love a lot of the same things, like Star Trek and you mentioned most all my favorite UA-camrs! Thank you for putting your lovely face with your voice😊
Hi Donna, so nice to meet another Trekkie , live long and prosper 🖖
Margareth, thank you so much for putting this together. It is so great to put a face to the voice. You are a beautiful woman, with a beautiful soul. I am looking forward to the next one. It was so nice to learn all these things about you. We come from very different backgrounds but share the same passions. Bless you dear one and again, thank you for all you do.
Thank you so much my dear 🥰
I will say I have watched you pretty much every video since I found you. I love your style and how chatty you are. If someone asks who my favorite UA-camrs are. You, Bohemian crafting, The Paper Outpost, and Treasure Books. You four I never skip and always am excited to watch. Keep up the great work!
I’m in great company ☺️ Thanks sweetheart 😘
Hi Margreth, I so enjoyed this video I watched every single part of it. I loved seeing and hearing about your life it was so interesting. Thank you for being brave enough to do it. Lots of love Bella. Oh and thank you so much for mentioning our channel. Xxx❤❤
You’re so welcome sweetheart 😍
Margreth this video was amazing! You are so brave doing a full face interview. I would be terrified! Absolutely loved this hour with you and getting to know you better. And Kirsty and Phil!!! Oh my days that had been my most favourite show for over 20 years!!! I love it! 😁 off to watch part 2 now xxx
Thank you so much sweetheart ☺️😘
Oh Margreth so happy to finally meet you! I remember when you said you were uncertain about making this kind of video. Kudos to you my friend. You did it and what an amazing job you did. I loved having the chance to know you better on a more personal level. Thanks so much for sharing. I can’t wait for your next one. ❤
Hi Erika, thank you so much my dear friend ❤️👍🏻😘
This was just wonderful. Really enjoyed learning a little more about you. We are all very glad you decided to make YT your career. I know it isn’t as profitable as you would like, but you do have much influence within the crafting community. Thanks for opening up and allowing us to get to know you even better. 🤗❤️ Tamara
Thank you so much my dear friend 🥰
Thank you so much my dear 😘
Very Interesting, I watch all of your UA-cam videos to get some ideas, I want to make a set of Junk Journals, about 20 with some very old Readers Digest I have, so I have been looking at your videos to get some different ideas. Thanks again for sharing your story, all the best. Andre WA OZ.
😁👍🏻
Bad fan 😂)
Anyway, just to say thank you for the Q&A and for sharing a bit more about you. I loved seeing your face - it makes your channel so much more personable now that I know what you look like and who you are. Here’s to the next 15,000!
Cheers to that lovey 😘👍🏻
If you touch the screen while the video is playing a tool comes up and you can play the video faster. I frequently watch craft videos at 1.5x speed.
Ik a very bad gardener myself however, I just love homesteader UA-camrs . I would love to live on a farm and grown and raise my own food ❤️😍
Thank you so much lovey 🥰
You are absolutely charming! I have always loved your sense of humor and now I see that your outlook on life is kindness and happiness and gentleness. You're the total package! I look forward to many more years of learning junk journaling from you and laughing with you about life. Thank you so much for this face-to-face video "meet and greet."
Thank you so much Nina, for the kind words ☺️👍🏻😘
Margreth, it’s so lovely to put a face to the name. You are an absolute delight. Love what you do and your contribution to this amazing community. ❤❤
Thank you so much 😊
What a delight this was!
Thank you so much Katie ☺️😘
Thank you so much Barbara ❤️🥰🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing this video! It was wonderful to get to know you better. You are my favorite crafting UA-camr. Also, it was great to see the photo of your snoring kitty's. My cat, Frank snores ALOT too. LOL!!
😽👍🏻😘
Thank you so much for the mention and for watching our channels. You are amazing and I love your style. I am looking forward to the collab this month with RachandBella. Blessings E
Oh my gosh ,Miss Edith . Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video . I watch your channel all the time , it gives me so much inspiration and joy.
Please know that you and your family have been in my prayers 🙏🏼❤️
@@SevenplazaCreative Thank you so much for the prayers, that is what keeps us going. Blessings, E
Thank you so much Helen 😘
@helen I'm from Oklahoma and live in Nashville and I got a kick out of that part too! 'Oklahoma is the cultural center of the universe - Hoyt Axton' lol 😅
I heard about you from Ceri the Crafter. I bought your journal thing. But I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 😂😅 Such enthusiasm makes me enthused 🎉 Thank you for all you do for us!
That is so kind of Ceri ☺️😘👍🏻
Margreth, thank you for sharing so much about yourself! You are absolutely lovely. I thoroughly enjoy your videos - I almost always learn something, and you always make me laugh. Thank you for sharing your talents, passion and sense of humor with us.
Thanks sweetheart 😘
So lovely to meet you Margareth, wow you look incredible for 53! Lovely hearing more about your life and getting to know you xx
Thank you so much Tina, you don’t look so bad yourself my dear 😉😘
So lovely to meet your beautiful face to go with your lovely voice. I agree with all the crafters you mentioned and love them all. My dad said what lovely people the Dutch were when he was there during WW 2. I love your 2 fur babies. I have 2 males, they are my family. From Diane, Cambridge, Canada. ❤
😽😽
Ha!)🎲♦️♠️♥️♣️🎰🎱🎱🃏🕹🎮🎯🎲
😽😽 thanks
This was so kind of you to take the time to make this video and share yourself with us. You are a lovely soul. I caught myself the other day calling someone lovey!! 😊😊
It’s a thing that is going around 😂
What a delight it is to see your sweet, smiling face, Margreth. What a special treat it was to hear you speak & to put a pretty face to your hands. Lol Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs & Blessings, Sharron 🤗🌸💗
Thank you so much ☺️
I'm glad you did this for us. I personally LOVE your voice! This is the 1st time that I'm in on the start of a youtubers channel and I'm enjoying all of the projects. The Texas twin are adorable!
Thanks 😽
So glad to find such a talented Dutch crafter on YT! I am myself French, based in the Netherlands, and I have started junk journaling recently (a great way to use the so many different techniques I have learned over the years). I like your clear tutorials, joyfulness, superb English and your tips on where to find nice Dutch supplies (please, continue to provide them!). I am following you with a lot of pleasure.
Thanks 😁👍🏻
Thanks for sharing so much of yourself. As you were naming off each individuals that you watch on UA-cam, I was quite suprised to notice that I also watch every single UA-camr you named. It's small world for sure. Have great day, Jeannette.
👍🏻☺️😘
Thank you so much sweetheart ☺️😘
You did a great job putting your face out there for all of us to see. You are so sweet to share about yourself. :) Congratulations on taking the leap and starting your business! Such an inspiration!!!
Thanks ☺️
Thank you so much sweetheart 😘
Thank you for opening up to us, it’s lovely to get to know you, for me you are up there with all the UA-camrs you mentioned and definitely a big source of inspiration to getting me back to filming again! Big waves and hugs from Scotland xxx💕
Thanks sweetheart 🥰
😁👍🏻
So wonderful to see the beautiful face that belongs to your wonderful voice! When you started mentioning the videos you watch I realized we are soul mates because I watch almost every one as well. I enjoyed this video so much and am looking forward to the next one.
Thanks sweetheart ☺️😘
So lovely to put a face to your voice, beautiful. Thank you for sharing about your life xx
☺️😘👍🏻
Margrete I so enjoyed getting to know you in your video. Nice to put a face to your voice. You did an excellent job in sharing your life with us. Can’t wait for the next part !!
Thanks Karen 😊
Hi. Many many years ago, I read a book called Orange On Top, it was about some children in the Netherlands during the occupation. 60 years now, I think about that book often, it gave me empathy for all the occupied countries and their children.
😊
Margreth, this was so much fun. It is nice to put a face to the hands. I had to laugh when you were listing your favorite You Tubers as most are also my favorites. I am always so jealous of the wonderful treasures you and Tim find. Please keep up your fabulous work. If I am ever lucky enough to get near Rotterdam again, I would love to meet you and share coffee in person.
Thanks Carol 🥰
Margreth,
Thank you for being vulnerable with us. Thank you for just being you. Your background is very relatable. Trekky, family life growing up, everything bridal. Your very personal life experiences that are part of your story makes us love you even more. It felt like a wonderful conversation. You are lovely and so friendly. I think many of us would call you a friend.😚
Thank you so much sweetheart 😘
So enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about your journey. Thank you for being willing to put yourself out there so that we can get to know you better. Love your channel.
Thanks sweetheart 😘👍🏻
Thanks Ellen 😘
So happy to see you margreth, and to know more about you, your such a lovely person, I love listening to you and watching you doing your magic with your crafty bits, your such an inspiration, it's great to put a face to the hands now 😊 xx
🥰👍🏻👍🏻
So good to hear all about you! My husband passed away 13 years ago from cancer. We were married on the fourth of July.
I was still watching when I made the last comment. I just wanted to say, thank you so much now for the shout out, you made my day with your kind words. Xx
I just love you a lot ❤️👍🏻😘
You are Beautiful 💜 I have loved watching this and learning about you. I’m rather new to your channel, and junk journaling in general. I LOVE junk journals but have not started creating any yet. I hope to….right now I’m a collector of things to start junk journaling. Thank you, so much, for all of your videos, and for being willing to share your personal life with us. So nice to see your beautiful face 💛
Thanks sweetheart ☺️😘
So very happy to hear your beautiful words. You are a lovely lady that inspires so many of us. I am so happy to have found you and your lovely art! Thank You for Sharing your love with each of us.
My pleasure 😇
This was great. Your quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-camrs. Your stories are interesting to listen to and your projects are always great. Your very talented.
Thanks ☺️
Was warmtching something saying that young people are getting to where they cannot watch things longer than shorts or TikTok & are worse at communicating. Too much social media instant gratification, they say.
I enjoy hearing you talk and seeing you create your terrific works of art.
Obviously if you designed wedding dresses you already had an artistic eye.
Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks 😊
Thank you for telling us about yourself and it was nice seeing your face, we love some of the same you tubers You inspire me a lot since I have started following you. I love your style of paper crafting and look forward to seeing what you make next.
Thanks Kathy ☺️
Love the fact that you connected by showing your face…as a UA-cam watcher of all crafts…it can get sooooo boring to constantly just watch hands…your skin is amazing 🥰
Thanks ☺️
Margreth, I really enjoyed this look into what makes you tick!!! So glad you have been able to move on from the bad marriage to your new life with Tim and the cute kitties!! Sort of like taking junk and making it into something beautiful!!! I really love Curiosity Inc as well!!!! Alex has the most amazing adventures and is such a down to earth guy. I love your channel and wish you even more growth for your channel in 2023🥰🥰🥰
Thanks sweetheart 😘
Thanks for doing this. I have 3 subscribers so far at Ferney Hollow. Just 997 more to go! I needed this encouragement.
Thank you so much sweetheart 🥰
Hoi Margaret, leuk om meer over je te leren. I'm Dutch as well and my mother, who was 10 at the end of the war, was also sent to England, to Crewe, on the south coast. It was just for the summer, "to fatten up". That would make sense. The war ended on May 5 for us and that gave children a few months to get some proper nourishment before school started for real again.
It was probably the same program 😁😁
So brave of you to make this video that is so very different from what you normally do! Extremely glad you did! I discovered you maybe halfway through your 100-Day Challenge, and you very quickly have become one of my favorite creators. I so appreciate that you make everything seem possible….that I too can create these beautiful things! Keep creating!
Thanks Heather 😘
Go, gamers! Myst and Skyrim are my go-tos.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. So nice to put a face to the voice. Love your channel and how much you inspire me all the time. If I have difficulty thinking of a project to work on, I just go to your channel to find inspiration. Love your sense of humor and can't wait to see Part 2.
Thanks ☺️
It’s so lovely to put a face to your voice, because your voice is now so familiar! I feel as if I have met you properly now! Thanks for having the courage to share your life with us 💖
😘👍🏻
Barbara was the first channel I watched in my junk journal adventure, too. I found her through the rabbit hole of craft room reorganization and wanted to see what she did to need so many things that weren't your typical craft supplies. Luise's channel was my second. Thanks for this video. You've had quite the adventure this past year...Congrats! 👏👏👏
Thanks ☺️
How wonderful to see you and hear your story! My husband is a very big Star Trek fan, so I have probably seen all the episodes of all the Star Trek series at least once! In fact we are working our way through Deep Space 9 right now! Thank you for sharing with us!
Love Deep Space 9, nice stories you could watch each episode separately.
Voyager is my favorite 😘
It is so nice to put a face with the voice that I have been listening to for a while now. We are the same age and I love seeing your thrift shop treasures as I love to thrift shop as well. Thank you for sharing things about your life with us and how you got started doing these videos. I really enjoy watching you create!
Thank you so much ☺️
Oh Margareth hello so awesome to meet you tonight.
😁👍🏻
Oh, Margreth! All your videos are great but this video is my favorite. What a beautiful, honest, transparent and authentic person you are. I just think it's been a very touching moment to get to know more about you. Thank you!!! ❤
Thank you so much sweetheart ☺️
I discovered you about a month ago. I’m from Texas in the USA! You are so refreshing and I love your videos! Thank you so much! I want to do every craft thing you do - but have no reason to - I have made journals before - but have no outlet for them. I do follow you and try your crafts. Keep brining these youTubes to us please - they are so refreshing! Your English is PERFECT! Have fun with your new fabulous journey!
Thank you 😊
Thank you for this chat video.
Well done Tracy ☺️👍🏻😘
Lovely, lovely, lovely! You are lovely…the kitties are lovely… so lovely to see you.
😻👍🏻
So happy to put a face with those creative hands. Thank you for sharing your story. I look foward to every post. Blessings to you.
😘😁👍🏻
Thank you so much sweetheart 🥰
Yes it’s great to “meet” you. You are so sweet. I’m a homebody and love to craft. Love ❤️ my cats 🐈 who are my “kids”. Your babies are adorable. Hugs 🤗 Dee
😘😽👍🏻
It's awesome to see you and to know more about you, Margreth! You are definitely in my top 3 most watched UA-camrs and influencers. I love your style, your voice, your work, everything! My absolute favorite thing that you do/say, is the gentle way that you refer to yourself as Lovey! Beautiful!!!
Thank you so much ☺️
Hello there, I already feel like you are a dear friend.
Thank you so much sweetheart 😘
OMG!! So nice to put a face with the voice. I was also born in January so that makes us Capricorn sisters. I love your videos because they are so peaceful and organized. I am also a Star Trek fan and absolutely live Spick and Capt Picard.
Live long and prosper, and make it so 😂
Like this video very much, feels like we have a real conversation😍 and yes- one way of learning a language really quick and in a kind of natural way- is to watch tv-series (and YT) in the language you want to learn.
Thank you ☺️
Margreth! It was so nice to see you and hear your story! I really enjoyed it! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video and thank you so much for all of your inspiration! Hugs!
Thanks sweetheart 😘
Thank you for being so willing to share your personal life ! If you get any negative or judgmental comments, just know that they only reflect the nature of the writers and have nothing to do with you ! It is so nice to connect with someone who is so open and I love the anticipation that I will be able to share freely with you.
Thanks sweetheart ☺️
Margareth...I have to say you are fabulous! Even my husband loves to watch...he calls you our friend...I think you got him with Alfred and the underwear modeling...he even remembers his sister Lily the chef...😂😂😂😂
😂👍🏻😘
Thank you so much for sharing about yourself. I’m blown away at how much I have in common with you. From the 80’s music (I’m from the same city as Prince), to the love of gaming (can’t tell you how many amazing Sims homes I’ve designed 😂) and even a crummy divorce to marrying the absolute of my life. And I agree…white chocolate is not chocolate. ❤❤❤
😁😘👍🏻
Great, live long and prosper 🖖🏻 😘😘
This video was so much fun to watch. I was born in the US in 1961 and was raised a total Trekkie! We were not about Star Wars like so many others because Star Trek was our jam. My husband and I met online and played hours and hours of Counterstrike together. So much fun. Now I am into true crime and junk journals. Am looking forward to part two of this series. My bestie and I just love your videos and creativity. ❤
Thanks 🖖🏻😁
Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us! I've loved your style right from the start but I also know that its not just your style that keeps us returning to your channel every day. It's because we feel a connection to you, yourself. Here I am in Canada watching my friend Margareth, who is half a world away. This junk journal community is like a friend group that is spread all over the world and I am so happy that you have become part of it!
The internet is great, it makes our big planet smaller and everything is in reach. Thanks sweetheart 😘
Wow! You’re Gorgeous!! So glad to be able to put a face with a Favorite Junk Journal/Craft Creator!! Be Blessed!!❤️😊
☺️
I agree sweetheart. Thank you ☺️ 😘
I love seeing your pretty face after hearing you for a couple months now. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Karen 😊
Such a wonderful story to hear and I’m so happy to learn more about you. We have many parallels and I can relate to many things you have said. I’m excited to support your work and look forward to all of the videos. Congrats on all of your successes. 🎉🎉
Thank you ☺️
„I have never came along a calorie I didn’t enjoy“. 😂😂😂😂😂 you should print that on something and put in in your shop! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it❤️
🤣👍🏻🥰

Also a 1970 baby here and let me say, you are beautiful and don’t look a day over 40. This must mean I need to move to the Netherlands! Thanks for the video. I enjoy your videos. ❤
