The 2 white 'panels' with holes at top and bottom used to be attached to doors year ago. We had them at home to stop our little sticky kiddy fingers from marking the wood! 😄
I'm loving all the new things, artists, digitals, etc. I'm loving your fantastic haul of goodies. I especially like the perforator. I have been collecting old office equipment, I have a perforator and a very long stapler. I can staple anything. But they are mostly for decoration. Then you came out with the pot stands or placemat set...I have several sets of these, coasters as well. I didn't know what todo with them, but most of them are iconic Australian history and I think there's an English one ot two. Fantastic idea as journal covers. Brilliant, although not too good for posting overseas maybe. The Sarah Kay journals in boxes is great too. I am still here at the end. I always enjoy these videos. Thankyou for enlightening me to the Dutch world of antiquities and vintage papers, books, tins, etc, etc, etc. Always a pleasure.😄❤
The case at the end, it looks exactly like the cases from the 50’s 60’s or 70’s that were used to keep LP records in. You would use them to take your favorite records to your friends house for a sleepover or a party. It is lovely! Enjoy it 😊
Ik was ook benieuwd naar Daisy Journal, altijd even eng als iemand plots verdwijnt. Prachtige vondsten weer, maar het naaipatroon met je moeders naam is toch wel héél bijzonder. ❤️
Wow! I am from Wadsworth, Ohio! I grew up driving by the Ohio Blue Tip Match factory daily. I have collected some old matchbooks of their's, but you scored well to get the ones from the war! Very cool. ❤❤
Iam loveing this series Margreth, so much good inspiration and lovely stuff and surprises ❣️❣️❣️ Familie Journalen is Danish, love the artist they used for many years, not only as cover 😍 My mom alway says stuff will return in youre hands when its needed, lovely stuff Margreth and a very marry christmas to you and family ❣️❣️❣️
Oh my goodness!!! Those 2 "V For Victory" matchbooks came from my hometown of Wadsworth, Ohio! Amazing to see them in your hands in the Netherlands! The Ohio Match Company is out of business now but the old brick building still stands with businesses inside. I don't even have any old matchbooks from here! 🥰
@@SevenplazaCreative It is too bad it really was not your moms, but to me , even though it was just your moms first name is still special and it shows you were meant to think of her at that moment and she was thinking of you. Hugs Margreth 💕
I have a MASSIVE blueprint for a paper machine that I would love to hang up somewhere. They are so awesome and this one is really, really old on top of it! I just have absolutely no wall space left for it.
Lieve groet, Sandra❤️
You should check with any historical society related to that camp. A few of our internment camps in the states are now museums and they LOVE getting actual documents, photos, and things from people who were at the camps, worked at the camps, etc. I'm sure they would love to save that history you have in your hands. Or try to locate his family(unless that's who you bought them from).
So wonderful to get a glimpse of all your beautiful treasures. Thank you so much for sharing. What a true gift from your dear friends and I am certain you will keep these items close to your heart forever.
Just wow! It’s hard to believe it’s not a coincidence that pattern came back to you. What a special and meaningful treasure! It astonishes me how you find some of these amazing treasures. I feel like watching you do these hauls is almost dreamy. I really don’t like haul videos, but I have to watch every minute of yours! I am so glad that you are able to get these beautiful treasures, but also that you cherish them and take care of them. They could not land with a better person! Thanks for sharing. Many hugs 🤗❤️
Loved this video. I know it was upsetting seeing your Mums name on the seeing pattern. But it’s so lovely it made its way back to you. Your mum is watching over you ❤
So happy to see your treasure hunt results. Here’s a nice English word for you; “escutcheons “, those are the metal plates for door fastenings, key holes and cupboard handles. I love them, they’d look so nice and vintage on the cover of a journal. Be kind to yourself this season. 🌟
Being from California I got curious about Gallatins and looked it up. Fascinating story online about its origins and owners.. I believe it opened in the 1950;s and many Hollywood stars ate there....
Oh, Margreth, that sewing pattern...what a beautiful, happy/sad find.💙 A lovely loooooong😊video with so many treasures. My Nan had those, 6 London scene, table place mats so they made me whoop with joy and feel a twinge of nostalgia. The Sam Poole Signatures of the Past stamps, I ordered directly from Creative Expressions, arrived on Weds 🎉 I'm glad you got some too! Looking forward to see you use them. That last box, I think, held the old 10inch music long play records. Enjoy all your fabulous finds. TFS❤
What exciting treasures you found. The patterns bring back memories. I made some of my own clothes when I was very young, and I remember my grandmother also did, and 65 cent patterns are long gone. If you find one today under 10.00, you're lucky. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful treasures, Margreth. 🙂❤️
Hiya - the white plastic rectangular floral plate thingies are, I think, door protectors - in the fifties when long thin vertical handles were fashionable on interior doors, these plates went behind them to protect the door as the handle was grabbed? I think ? 😊
Oh die kaarten volgens mij zijn ze van het merk steiff dieren uit Duitsland dat konijn heb ik als kind gehad kreeg ik van mijn vader die toen die tijd in Duitsland werkte.❤
A 3 hour drive in the states totally depends on which state you’re in when and where you’re going. Some states- you won’t reach the other side. Some states- you’ll be 3-5 states away after driving for 3 hours. It also depends on which direction you’re heading. Our states are rather oddly shaped!
I enjoy all your videos but especially love your treasure hunt finds. I live in Texas and there are a lot of estate sales but the good stuff is much more expensive so I marvel at your prices. I’d love to see your take on a sewing journal. 😊

Is that what it was? I thought just that the first name was the same as her mom's.
It was just her first name on it ☺️❤️
