Yeah I feel like this Cybertruck is gonna fetch a good amount at auction for sure, idk about $85k but def at least $70k
Denis, I am taking delivery in just a few days and I cannot stand that I am unable to get the OEM wheel covers. I know they rub on tires but I do not care, must have, any ideas. Can I buy yours?
The Cybertruck def seems like a really safe vehicle, I think once production of the Founder Series ends and the Cybertruck becomes $20k cheaper, it’ll be a great truck at a great price, as far as fixing a wrecked one goes, only time will tell weather it’s worth it or not, if I was in the market for a Cybertruck, I’d get the dual motor as I think it’s the best value, but the RWD is great if you want the look of the Cybertruck and nothing else, and the Cyberbeast is the one to buy if you’re looking for the ultimate package
Safe vehicle? Are you kidding me? Look at the vehicle in this video. There is barely any deformation of the vehicle forward of cabin despite the impact being serious enough for the airbags to be deployed. From the point of view of occupant safety and repairability, you are looking at an engineering disaster. The energy of that collision has to end up somewhere.
And the rate at which that energy is transferred to other parts of the vehicle is critical to survivability.
Please read up about progressive crumple zones and collision safety before risking putting yourself or your loved ones in one of these.
@@davidbrayshaw3529the Cybertruck still seems like an incredibly safe vehicle (which is the deal with all Teslas) and if you watched the whole video from start to finish a Cybertruck literally destroyed a Toyota Camry while barely getting damaged
@@CarGeek360 "Literally destroying a Toyota Camry" does not make the Cyber Truck safe. Quite the opposite, in fact. All of Tesla's other vehicles have passed NHTSA, IIHS and NCAP testing protocols with flying colours. This vehicle has not been through the same evaluation process. Why? Please, become informed as to the mechanisms involved
with regards to frontal impact safety before putting yourself, your family or others in harms way.
@@davidbrayshaw3529 sure, Tesla has been making very safe cars for a long time and I don’t think the Cybertruck will be at all unsafe
@@CarGeek360 Please. Research the subject. It is patently obvious once you are aware of what you're looking at that this vehicle is not safe in a frontal impact collision. It is inarguable.
I've just checked. There are several videos on UA-cam that explain the physics involved. It will take you minutes of your life to potentially save your life, and all you have to do is watch a video.
Remember, people total doesn’t always mean undrivable most of the time. It’s just means the insurance don’t want to fix it because it cost too much. Man, I love the cyber truck though.
So whats the point for us to pay insurance to high, if they don't want to fix the things for what we pay for? Insurance is the biggest scam in the US
