These cars were truly a "sofa on wheels". The ride was extremely soft and comparable with the Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special series. The engine pulled very strong. It is always a good idea to run as high an octane Premium fuel as you can get. We used to swing by the airport and fill the cars with 115/145 and turn that 455 into a real rocket V-8! We called these a 'post-sedan" and the old-timers loved them because they wouldn't knock their hats off getting in and out because of the high-roof. You could get a Buick Electra, Olds 98 and Cadillac Sedan de Ville in a post-sedan. Another sign that old folks ordered it is the lack of little power features (power windows, tilt, cornering lights, etc.).They just did not see any benefit from such "bells and whistles". I am sure whomever bought this one new babied it it's whole life. For the price, anyone would be hard-pressed to find a better good American cruiser. Fabulous example, Bill!
You are a perfectionist for minor details Bill I hope the new owner appreciates all your efforts. $9800 is way to low, i hope some last minute bidders improve that figure..
Very nice! I’m sure the new owner will appreciate the effort, good luck! ❤
Thanks! I try to do as much as I can!

For that price you couldn't get paint and body work done
@@anthonylaspisa6992 Very true, certainly not to a high standard that this car deserves.
We can only wait and see how the bidding goes.
