HELLO to all car lovers!! Our UA-cam page is designed to bring you as many amazing low mile classics and specialty cars as possible! We sell our cars on an auction website called, Bring a Trailer. We will post driving videos, cold start videos, walk around videos and some fun fact videos on a regular basis. Once our auctions go live we will share the link for you all to bid on the car on the site, Bringatrailer.com. What you will find once you go to our auction is a very detailed analysis of each car as well as 300 to 400 detailed pictures! We certainly WELCOME any suggestions from our followers that might help you guys enjoy this experience with us even better! My name is Bill Garofalo, you will see me mostly narrating these videos, and my son, Christian Garofalo, well this is his page and does the filming! Always cool when I see one of these
christianbugatticg: WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO YELL . WE HAVE OUR LIMO . A MINT 1979 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL TOWN CAR SEDAN BROUGHAM. ALL OF JIM HENSON'S MUPPETS & THE WIZARD OF OZ MUNCHKIN'S CAN FIT IN THE BACK SEAT WITH ROOM TO SPARE . DON'T LOOK LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES WITH GRAVY CAN FIT IN THE BACK SEAT OF YOUR SUB COMPACT SHRUNKEN CADILLAC
No traces of lipstick on the undercarriage.;)
How much did it sell for?
Hey there! I believe it did about $13k
@@christianbugatticg Thank you!
My favorites are the '75 and '76 Mark IV - just add power vent windows and sunroof and then it would be the trifecta of the Lipstick edition.
Yes, very nice choices!
Typical American car for the era - new, early 2000s car with outdated 90s design. Pontiac Grand Prix and the Caprice were other examples.
Yup, for that era, that is what you got!
christianbugatticg : YELLING ? YOU'RE HEARING THINGS. THE CAR IS A 2-3 PASSENGER CAR. EXPENSIVE AUTOMOBILE WITH NO BACK SEAT LEG ROOM 😵😵😵
Yes, when you type IN ALL CAPS, it means you are YELLING!! This was not designed to take a bunch of people along. Hence why it was shortened. Sounds like you might need a Limo. Lol
Check the build date - The last Olds rolled off the assembly line on April 29th, 2004. " Factory workers signed the last Oldsmobile, an Alero sedan, before the vehicle was moved to Lansing’s R.E. Olds Transportation Museum, where it went on display. The last 500 Aleros ever manufactured featured “Final 500″ emblems and were painted dark metallic cherry red." per History Channel (That's why this one was kept as new)
Wow, good stuff to know!
Well, it looks real nice, but a 35,000 mile car should not need a paint job. But the important stuff is there, extenders and extender trim. Not original top either. Very nice. Mine is also 35,000 mile original has not been out of the garage since 1996. Body is perfect, needs to be cleaned up.
Who knows why any car was repainted for sure. It is still a 40 year old car. Thanks!
Please ship this to Germany so I can buy and drive it! ;)
You win the bid and we can make it happen!
ANY PASSENGER TALLER THAN 5' & 120 POUND'S IS NOT GOING TO FIT AND RIDE COMFORTABLY IN THAT BACK SEAT
Ok so make them walk or take their own car. I don't think the new owner will be loading his pals into it. And why are you yelling?? lol
Whisper quiet.
I love and miss Oldsmobile! Great dependable cars.
Absolutely were!
I'm looking at a 97 white with red leather gold emblems and white soft top... Its just a tad above my savings 😢
Hey please keep an eye on my channel as you never know what might pop up!! Thanks!
What was the final bid?
It ends in a couple of days, current bid is $21,000
@@christianbugatticg Wow
The Grand Am Great Lakes edition of this era (had a manual trans) is a good one too. They didn't have the v6 though. I remember seeing one new on the lot and wanted it. Imagine finding one like that with 84 miles!
Thanks! A 5 speed would be extremely cool!
Link on this auction please
Hey sorry but we sold it the other day. It sold for the low $20's. Here is the link if you want to see more. bringatrailer.com/listing/1963-ford-thunderbird-63/
This is just unbelievable. Kudos to the guys who had the money to buy a new car just to store it. It's incredible to see in today's era how cars looked when they rolled of the dealership floor. It's very special. I'm sorry that you have to deal with so much haters. I make peace with the fact that the car will likely end up in good hands.
Thanks John! I am generally a nice fella, but I don't like my integrity questioned. It is nice that there are guys out there like you who appreciate this car for what it is! I appreciate your commentary!
Bill , are the 70s body more sleek or trimmed than the 90s , Thank you , Fla Ted.
Well they are longer and edgier in my opinion. To me they all look good! lol
Beast!
That is putting it mildly!
I can’t believe somewhere out there now this is some high schoolers car now. Then it was once something like this! Brand new to someone who had that much money to buy it.
I am just glad it was preserved and that I found it!
the body part gaps are horrendous......lol...quality control on these were piss poor and it's too bad
Hey, it is what it is. The videos and pics that will go along with the auction will tell the story. And I would't say, "horrendous"
It blows my mind to see something like this! Truly amazing
Yeah, I was surprised to see it and super excited to buy it! Thanks!
The wires look good on it, but I also love those Buick hubcaps!
Yeah, I was on the fence but I figured the wires would dress it up. Now the new owner will have some options. Thanks!
I don’t know how you do this, Bill. Another fabulous Lincoln!
Why thank you Bart! It is A LOT of internet time and dead end leads!
Like 0 km, (0 miles)...😳, No rust, I haven't seen any fluid loss! (engine oil, hydraulic steering fluid, brake fluid or gasoline.....) (I am a mechanic..) The general condition of this car is incredible!!!! incredible !!! There are cars from the year 2021, 2022, etc... that already leak fluids!!
Thanks!
So when is the announcement that you were the high bidder on this car?
I will announce that you are a jealous moron!!! I have done near 200 cars on BAT and we don't shill bid. I have fairly close to a 100% sales ratio. Many of the no sales resulted in a deal after the auction. I mean why even make such a stupid comment.
مقدمة فخمة اكيد محرك ٦سلندر او٨سلندر ليرضي هذا اليخت.
Thank you
spectacular. I think my sense of masculinity is developed enough that I could drive a 'lipstick' edition without fear
That's right!! lol
You have got to stop tempting me with these gorgeous Mark IVs! I'm ready to crack open my retirement funds and pay you a visit. I will still hold true to my insistence that you bring these magnificent vehicles over in your secret time portal.
Hey come by anytime!!!
Nobody in their right mind would pay more than MSRP. ID SAY 15 - 18,000 would be about right. It's an alero not a grand National lol then again there are people out there that would gladly give you 30 grand or 40 Grand hopefully those people show up at your auction good luck!! 😊
Well..... couple of things. I just got a 79 Volare with 2,000 miles to do $30,000. Secondly, this Alero is already at $21k with a few days left. And my GOD, could you imagine if it was an 84 mile Grand National?? lol. Thanks!
Very Beautiful! The only thing missing on this one is a Sunroof. But this is an Absolutely Stunning Survivor!!
Thanks!
Bill, you said "Interior Presentation!" in the title. A little Freudian slip, I suppose.:)
I think I am missing something, you may have to explain?? Lol
@@christianbugatticg But the video was about the exterior..:)
That interior looks like a brand new car, no craked or aged plastic that the Mk V suffers from. The Lipstick piping makes all the difference to the seats which are more like a very comfortable arm chair. We will never see this level of luxury again, and certainly not in a Cybertruck !
It is a shame that carmakers generally don't go to this level anymore.
@@christianbugatticg That is very true, i am lucky in that i have a neighbour who works in the Bentley factory and he sometimes brings the latest prototypes home for a test drive. Yes they are desirable cars, but not inthe same league as these Lincolns.
The vynl roof makes all the difference and shows why it is called Lipstick Edition" The matching pinstripes lift the blandness of on all white paint finish. An excellent example that will attract the collectors that want a sample of each variation.
I think you are right!
im gonna buy this and drive it 200k miles in a year
LOL, that would suck all the value right out!
I remember these special edition cars that Ford and Lincoln would put out. They were really special! If I remember correctly there were also Emerald, Gold, Turquoise, and Copper special editions for the Mark IV and Thunderbird. I worked with a guy back in the day who bought the Thunderbird Lipstick Edition and a woman who had the Turquoise Edition Mark IV man, both were sweet! Vehicles today are just so bland! Nothing compares nowadays.
Yes you are correct. So many special packages that were unique in their own way!
The interior screams, "Take that, modern cars!" Nothing short of spectacular!
Thank you!
Can you put the link to the auction of this car. I cant buy it but I would love to see the action.
bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-chevrolet-corvette-convertible-30/ Here you go!
@@christianbugatticg thanx chris. Do this for all the cars you feature here. It would be nice to see the auction action.
@@user-yc2oz8kc5k You got it!
One big bag of money to get this car. Strange they didn't install a manual trans on it instead.
Yeah there are a few things you could add to that, but these builds are basically, personal preference
Incredibly beautiful !!!!! 👌☺️
Thanks!
Beautiful. Just so you know, the pinstripes on the hood and trunk are not from the factory. None would have been put on either when it was built. Not criticizing the car...noted only to inform you.
Yes, and that little "star" on the trunk was added too. You know the 70's was tacky! lol
@@christianbugatticg The star was part of what I meant, yes. Funny someone added a star...there was already a Lincoln star right there on the trunk key cover. Still, a beautiful car.
@@owlnswan4016 Thanks and I appreciate you pointing that out.
Very racy sounding horn, like it. Love how you have 3 GM cars parked next to each other, yet you can see each has its own identity. Like all 3.
Yes very different
It’s nice but the seal are definitely dry rotted you’ll will have to drive it more than a mile, if I would buy it I would have all the fluids, and gaskets changed with the tires and brakes…
Well, there was a service done recently and 20 miles put on this car since April. No signs of one single issue. Whoever buys this car likely won't drive it
And keep in mind, the way it was stored, the tires, which would be the first things to dry rot, still look brand new with zero dry rot.
I bought a new one in 1987 at the age of 23.. great car, great looks .... mine was the sporty Salon model, 2 tone paint, buckets etc . My family bought several Oldsmobile cars back in the day .. all were great cars.
Very nice!!! Still trying to find my first Cutlass, a 1979!
@@christianbugatticg Did you buy the Cutlass Supreme new in 1979 ?
I bought the new Oldsmobile with my own money as I started working full time at 18... It was my third new car I bought after a Honda Civic/ Accord. i paid $12 grand and had a MSRP of $14,500... After all of these years I still have the window sticker label. Sadly it was totaled in 1989 when parts of a Semi truck hit it while I was driving on a major highway.. I was ok, not hurt and that car saved my life !!!
And it shows , paid off
Thanks Nick!
Stunning! I’ll be bidding Monday after I collect my lottery winnings.
Hahaha!! Nice!
I remember the lipstick Edition I didn't think anybody knew that by name that car is absolutely beautiful and so rare
They did a good job.
What a beautiful example and of course a great presentation as always!!!
Is this a keeper for a very special client?
Amazing ❤
Fla Ted
Thanks Ted!
