I don't have any questions, I have always know everyone is being lied to and EV's were never going to be the future... there is no battery technology to save the idea, and it will not exist for decades to come

Re.tourist property. Here in Spain, on the coast, not inland so much. This is the tale of our neighbours daughter with a boyfriend and a toddler. They took out a 2 yr contract on a flat. The contract states that from June until August you surrender the flat so as the owner can rent it out for holiday makers for twice the price. She and the baby are now back at mothers and the boyfriend at his mothers until the end of August. This is how the contracts are. Does that sound right to you? And you wonder why so many places are anti tourist. And we haven't even touched on bad behaviour issues.
Happens in UK as well. Friend's cousin's neighbour lives in a rented flat, was handed a no fault eviction notice, after having lived there for years, later she found out from the cousin that the flat was on airbnb for 3 times her rent. The house was near Brighton. The cousin found out that the landlord was reletting it as an ordinary flat later on, still more rent and apparently offered it back to the neighbour who was by then living elsewhere who said no because she thought the flat would go back on airbnb the next summer! Plus the cousin was not happy with the airbnb renters making a noise etc. Also coastal towns seem to have a lot of airbnbs, almost whole roads of them.

There's a lady vetenarian in America I think who has made a pretty convincing argument that jabs & neutering is causing cancer in dogs. I know it's just another conspiracy theory from a guy on the internet, and I can't remember her name or find the video.
But yeah, I had a crossbread dog who lived for 18 years without being neutered, then neutered my last 2 dogs and 1 lived to 8, and the other to approx 12 (rescue so probably +5 years old when I got him) and both got cancer.

$2500 for a 3 bed townhouse in Melbourne ( and that’s not a fancy one).
We purchased completely self paid solar and home battery and i have to say it works great and our energy bills are massively reduced. But EV's and heat pumps can go to hell i don't subcribe to the eco bollux. I like my solar and battery as it affords me self reliance from the Government and big corps just that little more.

16 years of staying at Garras, I never knew there was a beach at Constantine. I know it as having an annual art exhibition. However, my husband would never agree to taking us there. As we used a touring caravan, we were always in his car. His latest a jag estate (Rover 75 estate before and a Rover 600 before that [only liked the last one in Cornwall]), which I absolutely hate to drive. My sons older model though was a dream to drive.

Renting in Cornwall is exactly the same as in Vancouver or Victoria British Columbia. High rent, low wages, kids can't buy a house without parents help, and people living on the street because they can't afford rent but are working full time.

housing prices here went up over 150% since COVID nearly all driven by corporate purchases. Biggest issue for us who remained in place is the taxable value of current property went up the same. My property tax has doubled.

I was tlod that they used chalk because it reduced the amount that dogs farted from eating all the scummy "meat derivatives" their "food" was made from, and that would 100% figure because indigestion products for humans like Tums and Settlers are about 75% chalk...
White dog poo was the ground bones they used to put in dog food in vast quantities. My dogs still do white dog poos when they have been eating fresh bones from the butchers. Dunno about the chalk thing Tony, sounds a bit Jackanory to me 😂

EV fun fact: The Audi Q7 e-tron needs a new set of tyres every 5K miles because it's so darn heavy. Not only does that cost £1K to the owner but it costs a lot in terms of PM2.5 pollutants to the environment and people's health (tyre dust). Source: my local lifelong VW mechanic.

As far as I understand it the synthetic zero fuels are only zero because they take carbon from the atmosphere, use green energy to create the fuel and then the fuel puts the same amount of carbon back into the the atmosphere. Given that the leaders in this are Porsche and they are owned by VW. Either of you certain this true?
Most of Amazons vans are scrap a year after they start their lease. Very rare to spot one with a straight panel.

I used to do 4 weeks (we started at 2 in 2003 but increased as children got older and husband retired from education, which I worked term time only) for a total of £700 tops. We watched the property prices go and how the locals couldn't continue to live in their own county. Totally disgusting. No it’s not chalk, we use to feed our dogs bones….high calcium diets ……chalk 😂 i think it was ash that they used to bulk out dog food

You get white dog poo when a dog gnaws on a bone and eats the bone material, which is mostly calcium (rather than just eating the marrow and scraps of meat left on it as some dogs do). There are fewer proper butchers, therefore fewer bones available to buy. (From a former dog owner whose dog occasionally gnawed on a bone and pooped white dog poo).
In fact I did hear that DPD have bought all of Amazon's evans !
Is that's what's left of them as most of the Amazon vans EV or diesel look like scrap a year on after they were purchased (leased)

Well guys That was a rediculous call from the eyeclinic.. Lady from the north, does not know what a meat waggon is.. Crazy, they arranged hospital transport back in January, there and back again.. Eye drops I cannot get in my eyes.. My next appointment I could not get thru to hospital transport. So missed it.. Two weeks ago Woke up tatally blind. Had to ask a neihbour to take me to h. calkling again

Talking of first speed fines. I have a good one! Cruising in the Kruger National Park as a day visitor - the speed limit is 50 (me thinks) Km/h... but, the gates close at 18h00 sharp. So... I'm beginning to get lion induced range anxiety at about 17h30... realising that the gate was still about 45 Km away. I ease up the speed... and lo-and-behold... the cop jumps out from behind the bush and promptly flags me down and issues the fine.
I try humour on the lad but it does not work - he is adamant - you'll make the gate - they'll let you out - they cater for late arrivals but you will not speed in the park.
Eventually I have to ask - is it not a tad dangerous hiding in a thicket waiting for dim-witted speedsters? I mean, lions, elephant... buffalo and all sorts of other nasties roam the area freely - after all, it is their home. No says the cop... he knows the area - his spot is far from water so little game pass this way. Pity - I would have smelled sweet revenge if a lion of three had used him as a snack!
