    2:09 That... That is the MOST satisfying thing for me literally EVER! The thing I love most about grooming my horse is picking out his feet and there being a block of mud that comes off in one pick. 😆😝

    Malaseb is great! Aloveen is another great one for sensitive skin if you're looking for something non-medicated.
    The best conditioner I have ever tried is the Palmolive Conditioner for Dry/Coarse hair (pink bottle), mixed with water and use in a spray bottle. I was so dubious but a friend of mine recommended and it seriously the best thing ever! So cheap too!
    My horse has the most horrible, dry and curly hair in the centre of his tail. I have to condition his hair at least once a week and brush every day or he ends up with a huge knot near his dock x.x

    Hey, your horse fletch seems like a VERY calm horse but when your putting him into his pasture, both of you should face the gate. It is just if he spooks, he can't run far. Love your channel, keep up the good work.

    I love your videos so much but a word of advice, you should probably use a curry comb to stimulate the coat and skin before you take all the dust off with a body brush

    • @annabellevandevate4072
      @annabellevandevate4072 7 років тому

      _IrishEquestrian_ that in Australia is probably the date he was born. So in November 2007 or 1997.

    • @HanEquestrian
      @HanEquestrian  7 років тому +3

      +_IrishEquestrian_ it's his brand from being a racehorse, it means he was the 11th foal born in 2007

    Isn't it bad to feed a horse before a ride? They could colic.

    • @emilyj7794
      @emilyj7794 6 років тому

      i’ve always found munching on hay is fine before a ride. you shouldn’t feed your horse hard feed soon before exercise however.

  • @reagansk8s70
    @reagansk8s70 3 роки тому

    Your horse would be so much shinier if you curried him! Currying is essential to horses skin and coat health, that may be why he gets itchy spots! Currying the horse helps blood circulation to all of the hair shafts and gets their back warmed up before putting on a saddle!

  • @annies1138
    @annies1138 7 років тому

    Um why don’t people pick out their horse’s hooves? They probably don’t know that if they don’t, the horse can get diseases and it’s very important and, like you said, there can be rocks in there which can affect the horse in many different ways. I just don’t get people sometimes.
