I'm glad you found this place and made a video! It's important to keep places like this protected and available for hiker enthusiast and families to enjoy! Another good hike with Mr. & Mrs. Lumberjack!
Nice place! It's so great to watch spring bring everything back to life. I enjoyed the views along the river. mailbox? It's nice to see some critters as well. I feel like hiking near lots of water definitely makes for a better hike 😊
Nice!!! I used to walk here a lot, especially when I worked right down the road and needed to get out of the office for a bit. I always found it so peaceful. When I first found this place, there was still an old couple living in that farmhouse. The trail on the other side of the river is a nice walk to lock 60(I think its 60 😅😅).
I went here once with my brother. It was pretty neat till we got swarmed by the most intense and unrelenting mosquitos we had ever encountered. We still laugh about that experience not sure if they were mutant Schuylkillsquitos or what, but glad they didin't get you today lol. Nice relaxing walk, loved the sound of the peepers.
I mentioned to Mrs. Lumberjack that we will not return in the summer due to the wetlands probably being infested with skeeters. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment my friend!
I am watching as I am trying to find some yolk to dip my English muffin in a mangled up egg over light. Would Lumberjack, the chef, present such an egg to me? No. My father had a speedboat on Blackrock in the late fifties or early sixties. We have a few pictures of it. It's probably on the dam. Looks like a fantastic area to visit. Thanks.
I see you like to use dam humor. I can see why you wouldn’t want to leave the dam and just look out at it. What’s up with the mailbox in the middle of the woods? Weird seeing that big wall out there too. Nice little tour. Black Rock seems like a nice area. Especially now with all the frog sounds. 👍
The mailbox was very confounding. Dams can be both powerful subjects of videograpy and quite amusing. I am glad that you enjoyed watching, and thank you for doing so.
Looked like a great place. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙂🥾🥾🥾
What a great place to explore!! Sure am loving the peace and tranquility! What a beauty of a day too! Awesome!! Have yourself a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for the well wishes and kind words! They are much appreciated!

Loved hearing the frogs sounds. I was here a few years ago and thought it was a great spot. Really pretty sections of the trail down near the river.
Agreed! It was a great walk! Thanks for watching!
You hike and share the greatest places
We try! Thanks, Sherry!

Ooooppps. I see my English snobbery has shown again. Humblely yours. 😢. BTY. I made the eggs. You're right. They tasted great. Have a fantastic day.

John, I would do my best to serve you a proper egg, but as for me, it's the taste that counts. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Well I would make a comment about the "Leprechaun trail", but I can't spell Leprechaun.
Spelling was never your strong suit. However, supporting our channel seems to suit you. Thanks for watching!
