Okay but what blade should I use to slice tomatoes I got mine at a discount store I think it's missing the side scrubber piece that I've seen in other ads could be wrong but how to effectively cut tomatoes or green olives in slices or do I need to continue doing it by hand I'd like to make things as simple as possible

Mine stopped working. Appears all is in alignment. Not sure why it isn’t working.

I have the Hamilton Beach blender that came with a small food processor. I need tor order the adapter, I don’t think I threw it away or mine didn’t come with one. I love it, but I haven’t ever able to use my shedder blade because I need this little part.

I saw this model at my local Walmart, and the design seems quite ingenious. How does one store this FP when not in use, however? Can the lid be inverted on top of the work bowl for storage, as I've seen can be done with a few other Hamilton Beach FPs?

Wow so this video was made 9 years ago and you haven't been responded to guess my question will go unanswered I purchased mine at Ollie's for 3999 which was a fantastic deal seeing how the smaller one was $10 more I don't know make it make sense I think Ollie's does girl math let's see does the lid go into the bowl for storage as I am standing above mine right now it does not when you're talking about storage I keep mine on a shelf in the kitchen it does not store a way too easy because it is quite sizable however I use it for everything except for slicing tomatoes which is the one thing I went on this video to see if I could get someone to respond how to slice tomatoes with it but it just doesn't work on that but it does shred everything from lettuce to my dreams😂 it is a fantastic machine and if you don't have one I suggest you go get one I understand it's 9 years ago they put this out but it is worth every single penny I've had mine for about a year now and I've probably used it a million times matter of fact I just used it tonight to do refried beans and cucumber tomato onion green pepper salad add to shred lettuce for burritos

@@coolinwithlaura4114 A long reply after a long time -- thanks! I ended up selling my Stack & Snap Food Processor on eBay, since I wasn't using it enough. (I currently use a "safety" mandouline made by Dash (I think Walmart may have something similar under the Tasty brand) and a manual chopper (similar to the "Vidalia Chop Wizard"; Walmart sells a Mainstays "onion chopper" which is similar).) For tomato slicing, a mandouline might work, or a sharp serrated knife. $39.99 at Ollie's does seem like an excellent price for a full-size food processor, as I believe I had paid $60-$80 for mine back in the day. You might want to research other food processors (especially reading customer reviews) to see if you can find one which is both at a reasonable price and does better at slicing tomatoes, and then sell your Stack & Snap on eBay. You might also try looking up videos specifically on slicing tomatoes with a food processor, to see if there are any how-to tips or recommendations on which food processors do better at that task. (Maybe something from Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Country?) Hope this helps!

I used mine for the first time to shred cheddar cheese which it did with ease however my problem is cleaning cheese out of the back of the lid that activates the unit. How can I take apart and clean cause I cannot use for sanitary reasons
