Thanks Pamela - My wife bought me a Kenwood mixer with all the attachments - including the food processor attachment four years ago, and whilst I've loved using the kenwood - I've always been a bit scared of the processor! You've just shown me how easy it is to use it and how much easier it will make my food prep. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart! Have a wonderful day and stay safe.
Why have I lived into my 40's without a food processor! 🤯 I tried one, one time and it pureed my veggies so I felt defeated and never touched it again. Thank you for such a great (short) tutorial. I'm excited to make my bean burgers in half the time!
I am a grandfather raising my grandsons ,I am trying to teach them.the value of whole food versus processed food and fast food . More vegetables less sugar slighting fruit a bit ,I am researching which processor and how to use your video helped us alot thanks for the knowledge
Thank you for this video! I HATE chopping onions and I freeze them when I do chop a few at a time. We go through so many. Now I can freeze more at one time by pulse chopping. Literally life changing! Thank you!😊 👍
Thanks, I am buying my 1st Food Processor in my life … I love cooking, baking etc and am so use to hand chopping everything BUT have finally taken the plunge … I am so excited to get it, should be arriving in 2 weeks or less, just thought I'd looked up info on use etc as I am not the best at reading the instruction book & then trying to apply it (lol) Again, thanks, very clear and informative ! Cindy :)
@@pamelasalzman Thank-you ! Checked on it's status, it arrives this Tuesday :) ! YIPPEE !! Forgot to mention that we *love onions* in almost everything … So glad you included this in your video b/c I was truly shocked at how FAST they became - so small, (eeek) … Again, Thanks for your time in making the video - … your effort has saved me money, right blade to use (s) and the pulse button + some onions from an early death (being pureed) lol :)
Thank you so much Pamela, I've been given a food processor for Christmas present and your video helps me to understand my machine better. Happy New Year from Australia!
Love it!!!! I was one of those guys who got one for Christmas and it’s been in the pantry for a while!! 😂...... well now am ready for action. ..... you almost wonder how did I get by without it!!! Lol
So I was ready to make some coleslaw. My GF woke up and excited she decided she wanted to use the food processor as I just got it ready. Reluctantly I gave her some cabbage and advised her to pulse instead of hi-lo. She got angry and pulsed the cabbage into just short of a puree. I encouraged her that it was okay but she stormed off to bed upset that I made her look dumb. Little did either of us know we weren't suppose to use both the s-blade and the slicer. So I comforted her letting her know it wasn't her fault. Moral of the story is; tell your gf her Cabbage puree is beautiful regardless of your instinct.
Omg!!!!!! You must be a Taurus!!!! Because you hit every question there is to had!!!! I’ve had mines for 5 yrs now!!! Now I know how to use it!!!! Happy thanksgiving!!! U have a new subbie!!!!!
Thank you! kisses! Great video. Thank you! Thank you! kisses! Omg your kitchen is beautiful! Great video. Thank you! Thanks for making this video so easy to follow instructions.
Love your video! I have a Cuisinart that I've used for several years and it works great. Omg your kitchen is beautiful! I needed this.. thank you so much!! Great video. Thank you!
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Never thought about the brussels sprouts, but I love them thanks for the tip. As always 100% retention on the video from me Pamela! 👌🏼😊
Excellent; there aren't enough actual demonstrations of food processors and some people, like me, get a bit scared of these massive bladed machines. I've still got a Nutribullet with the giant motor still in the box. Too afraid of using it.
Thanks for making this video so easy to follow instructions. MINIMIZE MOUTH NOISY JUST SHOW THE JOB PROPERLY Love your video! I have a Cuisinart that I've used for several years and it works great.
Thanks for sharing, Just bought a Breville Sous Chef. Looking forward to using it for sauerkraut. I am guessing the adjustable thickness slicing blade as that is what I do with my knife.
I am a man and I use a Mandolin, who needs a big chopper to satisfy there needs, it's all in the action that you get the bigger satisfaction from your chopper and how you use it.😋 I have a Ninja and Vitamix.😳😜
On occasion I have been in other people's home and wanted to use their bathroom, but I have never been in someone's home and said, "I need to use your food processor".
I'm 52 and don't even have a food processor. I never understood what they were for. It has always seemed like a large, expensive appliance to cut veggies. I've been missing out.
I tend to use a mandolin when I have a lot of cutting to do. Otherwise just a knife and cutting board. The food processor just has too many parts that don't handle being put in the dishwasher, and you need to cut everything with the knife first anyway. What's the point unless you are cooking for 50?
Trust me if this woman came into my kitchen and demanded to see my food processor She's got another thing coming. NO ONE Touches my Kenmore elite food processor but ME!
It might not be a game-changer if you're only cooking for 1. I will say, I do love the large capacity of the Breville food processor when I make pesto, grate cheese, blend grain-free cake batters, or slice/shred vegetables.
Why wouldn’t you just order the adjustable desk where you can decide thickness of the cuts by twisting the settings this way you would only need one desk instead I haven’t many of them

Very clear video. I like that you had two different brands of food processors to show how they work. Thanks!
wuuuut. omg where have you been all my life. A food processor is a new concept for me and I am 39 years old.
I just made 38 and I just bought one! The shaved Brussels did it for me
I'll be 40 next month and am hoping to pick my first one up cheap this amazon prime day

Wonderful! Enjoy using it - it's my favorite appliance!
Awesome. Thank you so much. I’ve had mine for years up in top of my pantry. I’ll be using it now...! 🙂
This woman's kitchen is larger than my apartment. No wonder she can have space for the food processor.
work harder and you can have a kitchen like that
😂😂😂

After slicing loads of mushroom’s , I think I will take my food processor out now!👍👍👍
Use an egg slicer for the mushrooms.
Lol I just retired and I'm guilty I got BHG food Processor 5 year's ago and never used it so thank you for showing me how to use this .
How have I lived without a food processor so long....those shredded carrots are amazing
I could shred and slice with these discs all day! ;)

On occasion I have been in other people's home and wanted to use their bathroom, but I have never been in someone's home and said, "I need to use your food processor".
I am a cooking instructor and I teach in other people's kitchens.
Ok that's how you use those thingy. Thanks Pam.

I’m trying to decide between the breville 16 and the cuisinart 14. Which do you love more?
I love the Breville Sous Chef 16 cup. I use it just about everyday and have had it for more than 7 years and it is still going strong.

TELL ABUT KNEADIN DOUGH, HOW TO ADD WATER AND HOW MUCH FOR SOFT DOUGH
Can I get a dollar for every time she says, “OK?”
what's that food processor called ?
Thank you!
You're gorgeous. I own and know how to use a food processor, I just watched the video cuz you're such a pleasure to look at.
THESE DISCS SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN ON THEM WHAT THEY R FOR AND PICTURES ON THEM WHAT THEY R FOR LIKE WHICH VEGETABLES THEY R FOR
Hi pamela can we do nuts chopp in food processor?
Is the food processor is good for fried meat to?
Thank you madam!
ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you use a food processor to make spiral cuts of cucumber or squash . I was wanting to use it to make vegetarian pasta .
Hi Meg. No not usually. You need a Spiralizer machine for doing that type of stuff.
No, but if you have a Kitchen Aid, you can buy attachments for spiralizing.
is that brent rivera's house?
Olá sou do Brasil
Does it make sense for a single male to have one- not sure what i would use one for other then maybe to make nut butters
