- What's up yall! Its finally here, and finally done the 5in GRINDERINO, or as Im calling it the "FIVERINO". I don't say this shit lightly, this frame (and I suppose the build) absolutely FUCKS. Video is a little longer than normal because I just couldnt contain the amount of awesome this shit is.

Sub250 is in flying state ..needs props prop screws and battery pack. !!! to be sub 250 .. tell the truth bro it’s more like 360 …

if those are 2104 or 2004 motors or close to that then with sub250 dry you can long range on a 200 gram 4s liion pack for 15 minutes and go that many kilometers too! Pop a GPS on that thing and try it!!! you will want sl5125 pops or even better hqprop 5.1x2.5x3
yeah so I didnt see the 5.1x2.5x3 props when I got the initial set I wish I did tho, and yep motors are 2004. Im gonna have to get me a 4s lion pack and a gps then hell yeah

I've seen Kabab say that a 5" with an AUW of 300 grams is where it's at. I definitely would trust his opinion. Weight makes a huge difference.

These 5 inch ultralight really perform great and fly like on rails. For freestyle though, there is just no throw. Much too floaty. Once you go off the throttle, it just stops.
I built three UL 5 inch. My personal preference are the HQ 5x3x2 and gemfan 5130.
By the way, sub250 means incl battery AUW. So no rid and sub250 talk is BS.
@@chrisbee5481 Lighter is better in my opinion. Juicy flicks are arguably better with more weight, but besides that one very specific trick, you can be way more precise with a lighter quad. Which means tighter flying in proximity, and also its easier to combine more complex maneuvers together.
I don't really care for describing quads as "floaty", not to pick on you. It just gets used a LOT in this hobby. I want my quad to float, I don't want gravity yanking me back to Earth lol.
The only downside to trying to be light with quads is sacrificing battery size for decent flight times, and durability. If you have to give those up, then you probably went to light with your build. If your quad is durable and you get decent flight time, then there is no such thing as too light. That's my take on it anyways.
@@Greg__K sure. All true. My favourite UL 5 inch has quadmovr fettec 2104 1900kv motors with gemfan 4934 props. So much control. It just kinda stops in the air when you go off the throttle. My favourite small UL build is 4 inch to be honest. There are unfortunatly too little motors for 4 inch. The amax 2005 2200kv motors on 6S and HQ 4x3x3 are a dream. Best of both worlds. Can only recommend it.
That build seems rad as hell. Can't wait to try out a Grinderino/Fiverino at some point

@@ItsRenderInnit yeah I flew 4s on the 3.5in for a while but since all my 4s batteries are dead now I decided to see what the deal with 6s was and I gotta tell ya it fucks
