And they said due to her vocal "technique " her voice will be shut in no time. 20 plus years later her voice is in fantastic condition and she's killing it vocally. The woman got pipes of steel
@@ethanys7422 i think in last 4/5 years she worked a lot on her technique and singing style, I can't wait to her next album and performances in November
2002-2004: Constricted and tense. 2006-2007: High larynx at times but generally freer and less constricted. 2008: The Heroes one is great. She's really loving that distortion, isn't she? 2010: Similar to 2006-2007 but larynx is more neutral. 2011: Constriction is back. Larynx was high AF. 2013: She starts dodging some of the Eb5s. There's constriction, strain and tension. 2014-2015: She barely touches it and it sounds very uncomfortable. 2016-2017: So constricted you can't even hear it. The second one was okay. 2018: The Carpool one is amazing. One of her best Eb5. Overall less constricted, freer and cleaner (less distortion). 2019-2020: Cleaner, freer and less tense than in previous years. Her larynx sounds a little bit high though.
I swear that Moscow show was outstanding. She had so much ease in her belts that night. The ANOM note and Twice ending were also super fantastic there.

Ethan is time for you to do a new version of this video but adding the ones from recent years. 2024 and she still slaying this note, specially in her vegas residency
@@ulalabibeh8865 My guess is that she could try multiple takes in the studio and choose which high note sounded best. However, when it’s live, I think she knows that it would be bad to constantly sing this song while going high up in her range. In a way, I’m kinda grateful she stuck with what she’s done live. It shows that she’s consistent after all these years lol. There is a video of her singing with Ceelo Green and the other judges from The Voice and she hit an F5 I think? I believe it was a rehearsal for “Crazy.”

You're right... The woman who couldn't sing a proper upper belt... The last time she did a "proper" one was in 2001 at VMAs
It was bad for awhile there but it sounds fine now! Guess it needed rest?
@@superMacaulay1 why tf are people so obsessed with fucking upper belts?
@@superMacaulay1 I mean she can do proper belts it’s just her stylistic choices es are rasps and growls
She can still belt, yes, but she's inconsistent nowadays, there's much more rasp on her voice now.
I was there when she sang that first Eb5 in 2019, it was phenomenal, I prayed to not make her crack and she killed it 😂😂
It's amazing that everybody thinks that her voice is damaged but in those 18 years she keeps getting better
I think it's pretty incredible how well preserved her voice is considering how much she pushes it when she performs!

2018-2020 was the best especially the Moscow Tour. after 20 years she can still fucking sing!
She’s just incredible 😍🙌
2006/2007 and 2018+ is where she definitely hits the notes better! She seems to be getting even better though!!
The CNN Heroes will always be my favorite ❤🥰

Yes!!!!!!!
Ummm..... the larynx naturally goes high when doing upper belts!
I really love this song and the climax!
2018 carpool and the 2019 Moscow version were the best. 2011 The Voice as well. 2016 at 3:46.
I agree!
agreed!
I swear that Moscow show was outstanding. She had so much ease in her belts that night. The ANOM note and Twice ending were also super fantastic there.
Her ease at the 2007 one seems like she could have done F#5s like the studio version!
Also can you do Beautiful Eb3 compilation as well?
3:05 i know this in New Orleans in 2014 she performed "Feel This Moment" there too
Meu sonho que pelo menos uma vez ela tivesse feito o F#5 original😥, mas nunca vou deixar de amar ela por isso
Seu comentário me definiu nesse momento, obrigado

Considering the upper part of her mix (live) taps out at about E5. Her Ebs for the most part are guaranteed to be there.
2003 Stripped Tour London, 2006 GMA, 2007 BTB Australia, 2008 Heroes and 2010 Storyteller are my picks

Omg this is amazing at 5:34 that’s my cup !!!!! I have a video of her up close!!!!

2018 - 2019 were clean belts

Is funny realizing that after each pregnancy her tone become darker. Her tone was best at 2009/2010 tho.

That was her real tone actually.
