I imprted a Patriciae a few months ago. It was a good size plant and has been so very easy to transition to my household enviroment. Its given me the most beautiful large and perfect leaf whilst in my care, which took about 6 weeks. More recently I have imported a Sharoniae. This plant was smaller than the Patriciae. It has also transitioned well to my home enviroment and is now showing signs of a new leaf. After watching your video I'm really excited to see how they both compare going forward. I have the Patriciae in soil ninja coarse semi hydro but for some reason I put the Sharoniae in a coarse soil mix. Both have only a support stick. Think I will see how they get on over the rest of the year and then change the substrates to whichever substrate has given the best performance next spring. Oh - and I will definately add a moss pole. Thank you Memo
Your plant care journey sounds amazing, Terri! 🌿 It’s fascinating to see how they adapt in different substrates. Keep us posted on their progress! And yes, adding a moss pole is a great idea! 😊✨
@@Houseplantygoodness oops, slight miscommunication! I don't have one, but your joy was palpable through the screen, and well I thought it the song...😄
Yes! Thank you for showing this species some love. I hadn't had the vast success so far that you've enjoyed( I'm sure at one point I was using her moss pole as a hat rack..with the plant on it lol) but I do think she was worth glowing up. Kind of a novelty in the plant world.
You make a great case for this. It is beautiful and lush without a moss pole. I wonder if the P sharoniae Mosquera and the regular sharoniae that ecuagenera also sells have more rippled leaves. I have the Philodendron mexicanum with also long leathery leaves, but has longer internodal space. How does this compare in growth habit to P esmeraldense? Have you seen the other regular sharoniae? Now there is also the P Esmeralda Spirit (primary hybrid)
I actually asked ecugeneria the other day, there are two types. Goat is going to be more defined the other isn't as much. Mosquense or something such as.
OMG I can't believe I missed the obvious 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ yes G.O.A.T. Greatest of all time makes sense rather than goat 🐐🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 When did I become the old person that misses the obvious 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👨🦳👨🦳👨🦳
I just bought this plant a few weeks ago and you've made me all the more excited to grow it. Thanks, Memo!
You’re welcome, Agnes! 🌿 So excited for you to watch it grow! Keep us updated! 😊

Haha, using the moss pole as a hat rack sounds like a fun twist! 🌿 Keep nurturing her, and I’m sure she’ll shine soon! ✨
I have a Sharoniae in a plant room with 50%ish humidity. It is still quite small but it grows continually. A very nice plant.
Consistent growth is always a good sign! 🌿 Keep up the great work, Kristie! 😊
Slovenly??!!! Please. Even YOU can agree you’re adorable in a tank top, right? 😂 no complaints
Haha, you’re too kind! 😂 Thanks for the compliment and for watching! 🌿
Your personality grabs me hard! Sassy, smart and sweet. I love your advice as you obviously know your stuff.
Thank you so much, Joseph! 😊 Your support means a lot! 🌿
Super easy plant that gets bigger faster on a moss pole. My leaves are pushing 3 feet! This plant is a must have for long leaf lovers!
Wow, 3 feet! 🌿 That’s amazing! Thanks for sharing your success story! 😊
Take my money! My favorite online shop has starter plants to purchase 😊
This video should come with a NC17 warning 💪💪
I roasted mine on accident so I am just hoping to get it similar like yours in the future!
