Living with his grandmother shows that he doesn't have his own space, but taking care of her (and other siblings) shows that he's not only a provider, but a caring family oriented man, so what's the problem?

I’m in the military so I don’t take her with me but she also needs to stay in a warm climate because cold weather can also trigger sickle cell crisis. So she stays in a rehabilitation center in Florida year round. But hypothetically after service I could have my place up north and then take care of her in Florida and end up pretty much the same as this guy. To me your comment just shows that some people just haven’t experienced having to take care of sickly people. Now I do believe some people abuse a situation and exploit others. But if what he’s saying is true - then you’re kinda just not being understanding. * I meant to add that I hate Florida and it’s too hot for me, so I’d have no interest in buying a place down there - and she physically couldn’t handle the north east, nor would she even want to.

Daryl is a funny guy. He flips the script very politely for the most part and Connie can twist a plot.
I like how daryl kept it humble and respectful all the way through. Very humble dude.
Connie tried to be sneaky by having Daryl tell the story first. I’m glad Daryl didn’t let her do that to him and insisted on her saying her piece first. She was not as detailed as him and left out a whole LOT, only speaking on what would benefit her side of the story. But then once Daryl started speaking in DETAIL with no hesitation, he just went on and on, it was clear that his story made more sense.
Daryl seems like a good, genuine guy.
