Honestly this is what happens when you’re picking a partner based on an outfit. You got someone with the look you wanted, you didn’t consider the age gap, and she chose you once you said you had a pool. He should’ve known she wasn’t interested in him for real. She’s young in her 20s, attractive and you’re 10+ years older than her. Nothing serious was going to come from that, in that dynamic you would’ve had to continually buy her gifts to keep her attention. He reminds me of my husband, he’s a natural serious person. Which has its pros and cons. One it takes time for them to open, but once they do they are locked in. They may be socially awkward but it’s because they are from a different culture and may be even awkward around people from their country too…they are just different all the around…but my husband has kept every promise to me, manages our finances well, he doesn’t play about me…loyal and comes from a good family. To her point she is very young and he may be too serious for even women his age…it just take a certain type of women to deal with the pros and cons of his personality type. Me and my husband work because I’m the socially butterfly and his demeanor doesn’t effect who I am …it actually helps him open up more and have fun. I can be all over the place so he balances me out by staying on top of things etc

Yup. He dismisses older women for this young thing as if hes trying to relive the youth he lost chasing his career. This leading with your accomplishments thing will only attract gold diggers and young women that wants to be led. It will not impress these early 20s girls with their whole lives ahead of them, who still feel and believe they can make it on their own.
