... finally somebody did a "real" depth test...in ground with real gold. thank you for the test. this really helps me decide to save for the gpz or a european unit. thumbs up for your video.👍 😎
My experience is that general is used for larger nuggets. What was missing was changing the difficult ground type to normal in high yield. This makes a huge difference to the depth that you can detect but also highlights more ground noise as well.please redo this using the normal ground type setting for a complete assessment of the GPZ7000
Just wondering if the 19 inch coil would fetch better results? I'm actually unsure, however if somebody can advise it would be much appreciated as l am only new at the detecting game.
I run my GPZ-7000 nearly every day and extra deep is exactly that. Extra deep is designed to pick up large nuggets at depths of 1 metre to 1.5-1.6 metres with the standard 14" coil but there's a little settings hack you need to know to achieve that sort of depth. . Actually, worth adding that you can actually pick up good sized , large & + sized nuggets at up to 2 metres in extra deep with a 7000 if you're running a GPZ 19" coil. Settings hack still applies. General's optimum depth ramge is from about 400mm in depth up to 1 metre in depth. High yeild is only any good up to about 400mm...it's more for surface detecting smaller nuggets at the top...although of course high yield will also pick up large nuggets near the surface too...
I enjoy the research and tests on the machine. I have this machine and find the video very helpful. Would general work better on bigger targets? The high yield really works better on the gram gold, and from my end watching the video picks up the deeper targets. I’m wondering what a 8 gram piece would prevail. Because the one gram is better in high yield all day. Thanks for sharing
Good test. It’s definitely a compromise. Do you swing faster, cover more ground and pick up the brighter targets or swing slow, dig ground noise and maybe score the odd deep nuggets. What’s right. 😉 I have won in both scenario’s. Or maybe lost in both scenarios.
Lol you asked two questions. You forgot your question marks. The words "Do you" in your sentence makes it a question. You also said What's right ( What is right?). That is also a question.
@@doyleelad1113 I came to this Chanel for the gold prospecting. Not to be lectured by a wannabe English teacher. I got five nuggets yesterday. How about you?
Extra Deep is really only for 19in Coil - Were you in Normal or Difficult and no Audio Smoothing either - drop sensitivity to 9 or less and also try flat out and Zero threshhold - you might be amazed as the 7K is a Beast especially with new NF 12 Coil
Hi guys Where are you located? If I get a chance I might catch up with you if or when I get back to WA in August/ September this year. We’ll see. Keep up the good work 👍 Cheers Jim
@@CompleteProspecting Great thanks. I be in touch. Mind you there might be a bit of a snag in that ( my) plan if WA ( Australia) will not relax the immigration restrictions by then. Anyway it’s all good. No matter if it’s another few extra months later. Take care and keep up the great work. Will-look forward to your other videos Cheers Jim

The threshold and sensitivity were not adjusted. We set up the detector with the quick start process that Minelab recommends. . Here is a video on how to get started: ua-cam.com/video/Lyg3a9_DhMM/v-deo.html
With your test you must realize you have buried your targets & disturbed the ground which could give a false reading due to the soil coposition being altered.
He showed that... It tops out at about 15 inches on a 1 gram gold bar. So if you are detecting over an ounce it will definitely sound off. My guess ... It can probably detect an oz of gold at 25 inches or just over 2 feet.👍 😎

We will consider your request.
We've been curious about these machines as we always detect with our Equinox 800 and Xterra Pro lately
How about changing to that extra big coil that has come out for this machine??
I would have really have liked to have seen the depth increase with their new big I think 12" coil at those 400-450 depths??

Hi Alastair, what are those setting hacks for extra deep with the 19? Thanks
Thanks for the pm Alastair, great help and much appreciated!
My pleasure @Roddigger ... It's all about eliminating suspects when it comes to deep gold detecting
Good test! I just saw the Mindlab video on gold modes just before your video. They said high yeld is for -1 oz. The other two are for +/-2 oz.
Can i get on that can detect 10meters deep

I was making a statement rather than a question. Thanks anyway.

Awesome, thanks for your tips. We will try that out and let you know.
The 19" upgrade coil worth the additional $1700usd for more depth?
my question, its a Pulse Induction detector ? LIKE
Test is will done. I would like to have seen the results of the 6000 as will, in comparison.
I found this rig for 2500 usd should I buy it?
Good test. I would dig the 350mm on extra deep when hearing that. Be nice to have heard 400mm on extra deep.
That's a great suggestion!
Can this machine detect at the depth of 20 foot?
But the shop guy says 7000 can detect gold upto 1.7metre in depth and 6000 to 1metre
Depende la cantidad, esto solo era 1 gramo
Good test mate would like to watch big nugets at real death on different settings keep it up doing well !
Watch gold hunters 💪
Nah that show is embarrassing!!
How to purchase this detector please reply

First of all, thank you for your effort, can we search for a single coin with this pulse gpz 7000, a beautiful and accurate device in the deep

Was asking the bloke at shop about the 6000band 7000 and they said they go a metre deep?????
Depend on the size of the target. The bigger the target the deeper you will detect it.
...a meter deep in water.. a play on words.
in other words the 6000 and 7000 can be submersible up to 1 meter or 3 feet.
yup..I know... misleading.😐
How much is weight if depth?
Yeah...he showed that. It looks like the detector was able to detect a 1 gram gold bar at top depth of 15'' inches under ground.👍

good point. thank you
Not impressed at all for that price of the machine pfft ... That's as good as test as you will see.
