wow, first time time i've seen you, 3 gram's awesome find, when i hopefully retire in a couple of years can you take me for a bush walk and lessons, pleeeeeeease ha lol, cheers from gipppsland area
Thanks for a great video. Apart from having to dig for deep targets, how do you find carting around the GPZ 7000? I just bought a Deus II because I'm starting off fairly unfit and its quite light.
I am 71 yrs old and overweight. In addition my left shoulder is stuffed due to a fall several years ago. The 7000 is no problem with the harness and bungee I can go all day. I considered swapping to the 6000 but in my testing with it you will lose target depth detection so there is no way I am going down that track. I started with the Equinox 800 then GPX 4500 and if you are serious in looking for gold there is no detector to beat the 7000. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and for your your comment.
Thanks for your reply. Admire ur G+D. I bought a 5600W escooter to from A to B in the bush primarily to cope with steep hills. Hoping I dont drive down a hidden shaft.
5:30....with a hole that DEEP....(Yes it is depth....not distance) Your hole should be twice as wide....(width)...as you go down you should be widening your hole....this is lesson number 1 in detecting...
Rule of thumb. Every coil and detector is different. Dig in accordance with being able to pinpoint the target and then when you get close (sound) just use the pin pointer to get it out. Thanks for the advice.
Hey mate how do you find that coil over the standard coil I’m looking at getting one for my 7 it looks to run pretty well in normal I struggle abit with my 14 in normal unless on malloc heaps
It's a great coil and it runs better generally in Normal than in difficult on my detector. The biggest problem that I have with it is having to dig deep holes to get down to the targets Lol. Found gold with it in areas we have hammered before with the standard 14".
You are correct. I should have said at 90 degrees to the flow but it just came out like that because I was thinking the rocks were sitting parallel in rows. thanks for pointing it out.
Hard work pays...Nice Video.. Very Useful and Inspirational... always successful.. ..greetings from traditional Indonesian gold seekers 🇮🇩⛏🙏🌹👍
Many many thanks
Hard work pays off, sometimes you have to sift through the junk to get the rewards. Great video mate. Thanks for sharing.
You got that right!
Excellent. Looks like a lovely spot to spend a day in the bush, and you got gold as a bonus. That 3 grammer is very nice, worth the deep dig.
Thanks for your comments. This area is remote and so it holds lots more promise.

No worries mate thanks for that. Yeah since getting my Zed I noticed your always digging deep good when they turn out to be gold tho
If you have the sensitivity at 4 to 6 what is the threshold at? Do you have audio smoothing on high?
Threshold is just coming through. Smoothing is always OFF. Thanks for the question and for watching.
Please check what parrallel means...
