Funny you say that. I've been using the AWD 4g15 flywheel. Those has the dowels already in position to use a mivec 215mm clutch and pressure plate combo. What i use is the ACT extreme clutch and pressure plate rated for 450tq
Hello, I got a 4g15T engine colt rs, just installed maxxecu mini on it. I am not having fire when I enable cam input(1 pulse)… however, when I disable cam input, I get fire but engine won't run in sequential. can you help with setting please?
What trigger patter was used? We left 1 on the cam and the one on the crabs was normal. So the trigger pattern is similar to the evo 10 trigger pattern.

They are supposed to yea. Mine making noise as well. You need to take them out an clean them or get then replaced. I'm using 5w40 oil and not going to go any thicker than that
Nah I don't have a pin out for it. I used the same wiring harness I had for the 4g15, I just wired in the mivec. And then the crank sensor jack had to change
Normal driving you can feel the difference for sure. Alot smoother etc. We have to go to tune on the dyno to really see the difference with full throttle runs

The head is a direct bolt up. But you would need the oil pump, water pump, trigger wheel and the ecu. I'm using a maxx ecu, standalone ecu,so we used that to start the car.It can work with the 4g18 yea. Boost is life!
Is the 4g15 sohc 92 HP out of the Mitsubishi Mirage 97-02 similar to the 4g15t? Im in USA and would love to do such a swap or know where to get replacement parts if something broke. Thank you in advance
The block should be similar but the head will be different being mivec and turbo. You should get the full engine and transmission conversion. Will work better.

It's a built 4g18 block and a stock 4g15 mivec head. In order to activate the mivec, you would need the crank trigger to work, so the ecu can see it. Otherwise, it can work with the stock 4g18 crank, but you may not be able to activate the mivec
hey nice build , i have a 1998 lancer ck2a body , the stock engine was a 4g15 but the intake is a carburettor , how much work will it take if i would make it into a 4g15 dohc mivec? do i need to change a lot of parts inside like the tank or something?
Hey thanks man. You would need the parts I used, and also change the pump in the tank. It would be better to get a fuel injected gas tank as that has a baffle in the tank, which is better. You may have to run some fuel lines back to the fuel tank, but it shouldn't be too much work to do.
Hey, it's the same cover. I just added 2 10AN ports to fit my catch can. I'm running alot of boost, so needed to make sure the head was vented properly

If your transmission is cvt, I don't think it will work with the 4g15T from the colt. The transmission that comes with the 4g15t is a normal type, non cvt
We used the evo 10 trigger Pattern. That had to be tweaked a bit to start. For the mivec to work, you would need to use the 4g15 mivec trigger and cam trigger as it uses that to know cam position to set mivec. If u don't want mivec to work, it's possible to use the 4g18 cam an crank trigger
You use 4g15 box from colt czt? I have use lancer MX gearbox it bolt up direct to 4g15t but i had to move my slave cylinder a bit forward because of turbo original place Do you think thats the cause for slipping in changing gears? I wonder was box you use and what is you clutch setup if you dont mind helping
@@yaseenpeerally6722 I'm using tbe gearbox from tbe 4g92 mivec. Those made to swing 8500+ rpm. I'm also using an act clutch an pressure plate. Slipping in changing gears may be your clutch going bad and requires replacement
I'm running a standalone management. Maxxecu. If you are putting this engine you will need the original 4g15t ecu or a standalone. 4g18 won't work as it has to control fueling for boost and mivec activation

It's possible it may work once the transmission is not cvt. Harness from the 4g15t should work. I haven't tried it, but I believe it may

This is the 4g15 mivec head from the colt r. Stock head,cover,cams,coil pack from the colt. It's on a 4g15 sohc block that came in the cs3 lancer

Yes correct. I'm wiring in the mivec this weekend and the maxxecu will be controlling it.

I don't see why it won't work with abs and airbag. That has a separate control system. U just changing engine and the ecu for the engine. Thats it
