I bought a same camera but still don’t know how to blur the background while taking photo. It would be great if some one can tell me how to do it. Thanks
Ratan Acharya use fix lenses or set the aperture. The lower the number of the aperture, the more blur backgrounds you’ll get. For example, f/1.4 is way better than f/2.8 for getting more blurry background. But the effect, you’ll get a brighter picture
D700 and D650 are to close together.buy the cheapest one of the two.more difference between D700 and D600.i just bought a D700 a week ago here in cambodia,no D650 here,it was a step up to D750 wich costed 250$ more then my D700.i bought the last one in kit,with a 18-55 lens for 400 $ and got a 32gb klass 10 sd card and a camera bag with it.
yes i bought one,and sold it again,not usefull for me ,i need zoomn zo i bought 2 nikon bridgecameras here in cambodia,nikon p900 for 500$ and the B700 for 375.the canon 700d was body only for 400$.i looked for a nice zoom for the canon so i saw the tamron 150-600mm with a 2x teleconverter that was around 1300$ for the lense alone so i declined en bought bthe two nikons instead,2000mm zoom is auwsome.the little one B700 has a 1440mm zoom, still amazing.don't forget the 700D is al older model its 3 years old.
I was comparing it for myself, the eos 1300 can not shoot good videos, (bad autofokus), dont have a flip out screen, cannot use an external mic or monitor, not really good lowlight pics. But if you are a photographer on a budget - yes please!

I took my 700d to a store (not currys) for service, I think they switched my lens with an old kit lens. Take better care of your gizmos friends.
