The reason for this is he described all the settings IN RELATION TO EACH OTHER. Most other attempts to explain photography focus on one aspect without explaining how they interrelate. Up until this, I thought exposure just had to do with the iris. In fact "exposure" is the combined result of several aspects. Context is everything.

LISTEN! This video has taught me so so much. I am studying a degree in Film and Television but as a first year, we are more focused on photography this semester. I am working on creating my own cinematic pieces and so this video took what I already learnt in my Image Creation class and amped it up in terms of video. I never heard of adjusting the white balance ANYWHERE and it actually made a lot of sense. There was a video I filmed in my room with only the overhead light that gave my footage an orange tint, which I adjusted in post due to colour correction, which I didn't even know how to do until I learned that day. Safe to say that from today onwards, my short films will be improved, thanks to this channel, so thank you!

It's about time someone explains things in a clear, concise manner and does so SLOWLY! Most videos are so rushed and scattered, you can't follow the instructions or understand what's being said. I was so frustrated with my camera a Nikon D3500 I bought before the lock down and even took basic presencial lessons and had to finished on line. Is hard for me to learn things on line remotely. With all the basic knowledge, I ended up so frustrated that I put my new camera on sale, thinking I bought the wrong camera. Now after searching on the internet,Quora and UA-cam finally I feel you made me see the light before giving up on photography. I’ve been using my smartphone for taking photos but that didn’t make me feel accomplished. I have retired and photography was on my bucket list. Taking beautiful photos like the pros, like a real artist. Your video gave me back my confidence to carry on this journey. I am seriously considering taking your course. Thank you!

This was an insanely valuable 26 mins, and I can't believe it was free. Only have a Phone camera to work with (4k 60fps nature/life vlogging purposes), but will be looking into a solid Mirrorless soon, thanks a lot for all this information.

You stated, in the beginning, that the information you would share was beginner level, but this sounds a little more advanced! Great content! I stumbled across this video while researching knowledge of camera functions for my interest in astrophotography. Thank you for this!
