Supportive parents are the best thing any youngster can have re achieving their dreams 👍😊
Don't you just love these two? Good job both dad's and moms.
I sure loved this video!
Those two young ladies are such a joy to watch! Great talent, very polite and cute kids! Parenting done very well!
Definitely some very good parenting skills involved. Australian guitarist Taj Farrant has a great set of parents too!
theres only 1 lady here
@@greer2402 Yoyoka is female and Ellen is female.
I love the "do you know a drummer for the band?" moment! :) Foreshadowing i hope!
right?!?! i hope so, too!!!
Hovak Alaverdyan and Yoyoka Dad, please more playing videos from both together !!! please!!! hugs from Brazil to all you guys!!!
Kids ROCK🤘
Dads ROCK👍
Thanks to both families for sharing yourselves with us.💚🧡💜💛
Hearing Ellen and Yoyoka play together was a dream come true, hearing that they had not rehearsed almost put my poor old brain into overload. If ever a rhythm section clicked, these two are it. I think we have witnessed the start of a long and productive partnership.
P.S. Please give us a few more songs before Yoyoka goes home 😊
Throw in Petty Rock (who's a little edgie) and that's a complete band
@@thelionsshare6668 I had never heard of her before, she definitely passes muster, they even did a track together already

I thought all 4 kids were amazing together and the vocalist has a great rock voice. Looking forward to more.
These 2 seemed like they were playing together for 40 years! I hope they do many collaborations in the future and eventually become the foundation of a World Class Band.
How are they so comfortable with each other?... They each know their instruments so well, and have a natural feel for music. They both realize it's a band, and not about them, and do what they need to serve the band and the song. They both have an insane awareness of what's going on around them (musically), and adjust to what they need to do to make any song sound the best that it can!
Yoyoka and Ellen together comprise an amazing rhythm section. The best news here is that going forward they plan to continue collaborating, and I look forward to many years of seeing what these two incredible talents can produce together!
Wow me too I can't wait to see and hear that
Impressed with Yoyoka’s percussion skills and how smart these two are.
I've been subscribed to these two lovely talented girls for a while and never fail to be amazed at how they are so dedicated to their individual insruments. well done to their dads as well. Thanks for sharing this interview. Best wishes to both girls in their future development. Bob M. South Wales UK
You rock Ellen. I'm a big fan fan. You are easily the coolest kid on the planet.
You did an awesome job young ladies! Love you Ellen, you're such a goof! So fun to hang out with you, YOYOKA, Aki and your parents. It's was cool to see you and YOYOKA having so much fun, getting along so greatly, and forming what I think will be a life long friendship. The interview was very well done Hovak, just like all your work! And thanks to Mayumi for doing such a great job with the the translations!
That was great, my two favorite musicians and favorite dads! Thank you, families!
Two of my most favorite young musicians in one show! Thank you 😁 You two and your parents rock! 🤘🖤💯
Huge shoutout to the Soma and Alaverdyan parents: harvesting the unique talent of their kids by emphasizing the fun of playing and giving them space to be a kid when they want to be ♣♣. The fact that they did not rehearse together and produced this level on the LZ song: WOW!
My 2 favorite rock stars of the 2000s ... 💖👍
I didn't know the Zeppelin vid was 1st take! Amazing! Sometimes the Magic just flows!
The Future of Rock is secure 🤘
ikr... My head is still shakin' I can't believe it! 🤯😊
Yeah that was the most mind blowing bit of that interview.
Because it was hard to read, which was bugging me: The shirt or sweater Ellen is wearing says:
わかった 素晴らしい (Wakatta Subarashii, Understood Wonderful)
No Drama
さらなる楽しみ (Saranaru Tanoshimi, More Fun)
Coolest Days Ever
I wonder if it was a gift from Yoyoka. Excellent Q&A, thank you!
Thank you girls, you are so beautiful, talented and fun! Looking forward to more collaboration!
Language barrier notwithstanding, Ellen and Yoyoka make an awesome and adorable rhythm section!!
Perfect combo!
" I don't know these people", LOL, excellent answer.
These two young ladies playing together is fantastic! Both of them are blessed with great talents. In that Led Zeppelin song they made an outstanding great professional rhythm section. I'd love to hear more of these two. Only I accidentally stumbled upon some all-female japanese rockbands I learned how many great musicians the "land of the rising sun" has to offer. Keep on rocking Ellen and Yoyoka, the world needs more people like you.
Lol...."I don't know these people." Lol... Great interview!! Awesome job girls.
I loved this Q&A, it almost brought me to tears, and I remember the wonder of playing music when I was young ( I am old). My wish and hope for these two wonderful musicians is that they will always remain curious. Never lose your curiosity and never get to comfortable or just settle. You will always have fun if you remain
musically curious.
Thank you for posting this! I watch both young artists and as a dad of girls, I get it. They do what they do. These 2 are just amazing and joyful to watch them play music. I point my Sunday school kids who are into music to their videos for inspiration. Also Ellen was cracking up a lot... Her giggle. Loved it!
"...maybe,.... I don't know these people." Perfect answer to an impossible question. 34:06
The combined talent in that room is just mind blowing. Killer rhythm section right there. How did I miss this interview?????
There are two very talented young ladies, I subscribe to. Yoyoka and Ellen.
Ellen is very funny! "I don't know these people." That one has me cracking up. I hope the girls can play together again. What a fantastic rhythm section they are!
I would like for ELLEN & YOYOKA to from a band because you are the best
Thank you Ellen for introducing us to Yoyoka (Those like me who hadn't met her before...) You're both so incredibly talented and I'm so glad you plan on collaborating more... Really loved the back and forth Q & A format!!! You parents are amazing and you kids are so blessed to have them supporting and helping ya'll. Really excited to see what yazz come up with down the road!!! -Cheers!
As always it's an absolute joy to watch you an your interactions. Just precious!
Fantastic Q&A-session! What a joy to watch and listen, ThankYou for sharing ...Ellen and Yoyoka >good musicians and happy inspirational beings for the whole world --
Hoping for more collabs from these two gifted young musicians. They are the light that leads the way for today's youth to keep real music spreading further....and yes Miss Yoyoka, we welcome you here in Las Vegas!
Wow...That is amazing considering that was the first take on the LED...I watched it and thought it was great...The vocals were done really well as well...
"Is it a statement or a question?" ...I was laughing so hard!
Ellen talking about growing taller was hilarious! Just remember that Alejandra Villarreal from The Warning Band was the 'little' sister, and even the short-scale bass was almost as tall as she was at 8 or 9 years old, and now she stands head and shoulders taller than her older sisters!! She is the quintessential tall lanky bass player at almost 5' 8".😁 *Note to Hovak:* Keep plenty of nutritious snacks around, because when Ellen DOES start growing she is going to start to eat a *LOT!* (inside joke among The Warning Fans is about Ale and her 'snaccs')🤣 Great Q&A by all!!👍
See how fast Yoyoka is suddenly growing taller?
It was a huge thrill to see her play when she was so small! CUTE!
I can only guess at Ellen's age but she seems as a prodigy as well.
*EDIT:* Here I am, back a year later, and I just realized that the Led Zeppelin recording was a cold, first take miracle! That's just bonkers to even think about, all 4 of them just killing that song on the first try!!!!😮 There's definitely some chemistry there!😎🎵🎶
That was super enjoyable! There was so much joy being thrown around! Thanks for making my day!
Thanks for sharing. Now those are 2 famous ladies there with incredible talent. Keep the content coming. I know you are very proud of ELLEN as most of her fans are. Hope you have an amazing day. Tell ELLEN hello. Much love and RESPECT
Imagine how natural it is for them to teach each other now, over the web!
Would love to see her cover any Primus song. She’s amazing.
Very authentic, pure, funny and so nice this Q&A. Bravo from France, cheers ❤️.
This is awesome, Ellen and Yoyoka are some of today's most talented young musicians! I love watching them do classic rock remakes because of the genuine effort placed in these projects. Please stay safe and thank you for your videos.
Wow ... two of my favorites !! the future of rock is in good hands !
O i think guys, thats a Music Class and Very Nice. Its a goode Forme Bass and Solo us Musiciens tell the Story and we all loved that so much.Thanks.
The kids are great and so are the dads!
Ellen and Yoyoka! A world-beating combo in the making!
I've subscribed to Yoyoka's channel for years. She is absolutely amazing, well beyond her years just drenched in talent. Ellen reminds me of Yoyoka when she was 9-11. Again, drenched with talent and focus.
Great parents, and you girls are awesome.
I've watched this at least 3 times. Fantastic.
The music is transnational, it´s a perfect match in the rhythmic feeling 👍💥
Honestly, I think I would subscribe and watch your videos just to see Ellen grin and laugh. Nerve damage has taken bass playing away years ago for me….. so, it’s the giggling fist over the head shake thing I ❤️
Hello to everyone, this was a great video, it was very enjoyable to hear the questions and the responses
I had commented previously that Ellen and Yoyoka were kindred souls and there's definitely a parallel with your dad and Yoyokas dad, The seeds of friendship have been sown, for sure, Very Cool
To now know that was the first take on the zeppelin song is amazing all you kids just killed that song and saw zeppelin do that song live. Congrats to you kids .your the best I've ever seen. And I'm 65 so igrew up through rock. Your headed to be legands.enjoy the ride.
"is that a statement or a question?" she is so sweet and clearly childlike, as she should be, but her smartness and confidence comes through when she says this.
I hope Ellen gets her wish of being in a band, and especially with Yoyoka on drums. I've watched Ellen on bass for the first time jus last week, and my first thought was that she should get together with Yoyoka my next video was them playing together "Ocean" and I was beyond thrilled. I'm 66 years old and this generation of children musicians just blows my mind. Thanks kids. PS. my bucket list dream is to see Yoyoka do the Neil Peart drum solo from Germany. and hope to see them both do 2112 by Rush.
I was born in '54 and so much more. How about that 'scroll down' where you have to enter your age.. ..
Rush is our local band or was. Hello from Toronto, Dan!
Clearly...I did not spend enough time learning Japanese while I was learning Judo. I did try Sushi, but I didn't find it very tasty. I found the kid's work on the Zep tune to be very good indeed. I have to wonder if any of the remaining players have seen that video. I think they would enjoy it. If anyone works for their label, maybe you could send them a link...
love it you are such great players at a young age keep up the good works!! The Legendary Merle Perkins The Perkolator ❤❤❤
I hope these two create a band together because I’m sure it would be one of the greatest bands of all time and I can’t wait to see the other members they choose and I can’t stop watching yoyoka play steam. Way more better than the original my opinion
cool Q&A Yoyoka sounds like he's serious about music. and Ellen is well on her way, always get a good laugh listening to her comments and love listening to her play. Great talent here! ^5 to dad, keep it with up the great music and videos
Wow! In the "Oceans" video, I just assumed Ellen was the only really young one (they were all youngsters), but now I learn that the drummer on that session, who rocked it like Bonnam, is just a couple of years older than Ellen. I gotta go back and listen to that again.
Don't ask a kid a question if you don't want the truth. " I don't know these people" Haaaaah.
You are all wonderful, dads, daughters... Your work is really well balanced between study, feeling and pleasure. You make my day with every video. Big hug from France. keep up the good work !
Lovely Interviews. 👍👍👍 Did Yoyoka try Yousician? I watched "Ellen's Story" and it looked very helpful. It is hard to know from videos, but I think Yoyoka was Ellen's height when she was 9yo. Very impressive drawing Ellen! 👍
I wish you all the best of health, and happiness. I hope you are enjoying making music in 2122. ☮️
皆様のご健康とご多幸をお祈り申し上げます。 2122年に音楽制作を楽しんでいただければ幸いです。☮️
You're right, Mr Hovak, a good drummer makes all other members sound falling in the right places. Kai Hato from Nightwish and his predecessor, Jukka Nevalainen, are the living proof of that. Great drummers make great bands.
I just ran across this channel and watched several vids and I've been smiling the entire time. Definitely deserves my subscription. 👍
Rock on Ellen. You are awesome and have soul way beyond your years. Never stop rocking. 🔥👍✌️
You have got to be the coolest dad in the entire world…. Wish there were more loving dads as brave as you are. Kudos sir… Shout out to Ellen - you really do not know how special you are as a little girl. Tal is a wonderful example and would be so cool if you two jammed together. God Bless little one. You are one of a kind… P.S. Your guest was talented and charming… Love the format… 🙏
Hovak I can't wait to much longer. Please share what is in the big box. And if you have time play some of the classic metal I have heard from Octovision
I wish I could donate for Ellen
It would not be much but I will donate what I can. I love both of you in all your music. Once more Rock on 🤘
Wow! what a great video!
I love both of Ellen & YOYOKA playing
Thank you for sharing!
Great minds think alike! These two young musicians were bound to find each other...but there’s more to come too!
Such talented young people’s! So wonderful to see!
The pure existence of life and love.
"Out of the mouth of babes." Thank you for sharing this interview. Fascinating!
Lots of fun! Loved tge interview 🙂 We need more of you two playing together!
Music brings * Stars * to shine among us .....!
Go on lovely & talented young Artists, playing the " music instruments " , Let them sound , to be heard, bringing hapiness !
👍👏👏👏🍀🍀🌹🌹
Hovak you’re a proud dad, Ellen is turning into a bass monster
Even though there is some language barrier, music transcends that chasm.
This was so sweet... they have the nicest rapport, and it was a pleasure to watch. Thank you!
A couple of amazing kids. Hats off to the Parents.
I think it would be great for Ellen to play Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" on bass. It epitomizes the joy she brings to her music and life and to the world. And Yoyoka is just an extraordinary talent. Would make a great band with Ellen or anyone. Wonderful people gifted with fabulous parents.
The kids are so cutes, 😍😍😍💖💖😍😍 greetings from 🇧🇷
Even at nine, Yoyoka was incredible. Ellen? Holy Molly, Wow! How can so much magic be out of tiny little bodies?
Ellen and Yoyoka, these geniuses are blessed with great parents.
wow, Ellen asks, "is that a statement or a question"... Thats a very enlightened query.... Way to go Ellen! to understand that difference is a very adult thought. You are smart beyond your years.!
I don't know these people .. I just go with the flow ... Classic... Ellen you just grow up growing with the flow... What can this girl not do is my question after seeing her artwork.. she is gonna be the biggest little ⭐
Essa menina é muito carismática
im shy yet thank all happen bless you for all hard work thank you
Love these 2. For me as an adult I would play 2 hrs daily and there would be some work and some fun.
This was the best interviews I have seen. I love the connection between Ellen and her dad and he’s an excellent interviewer. The humor, the respect, the love. Ellen as a kid is well…a kid, but she jams and her love for music is a joy to watch. Yoyoka is shy and that’s ok, but she is a completely different person as a drummer. I imagine most of that shyness will go away once she lives or spends more time in the states, learns English and hopefully spends time around good people like Ellen and her family. The thing to remember is they are kids and I hope they enjoy being kids first. I look forward to more collaborations with these two musicians. Imagine the music they can create together if that is their desire. I want to see more of these videos Hovak, you’re good at this. Peace and enjoy your pizza. Oh, very cool drawing Ellen, those kinds of gifts are the best.
Beautiful drawing for someone so young. I can see you drawing your own album cover Ellen.Having fun is the key. What ever you do it should be enjoyable. I find it easier if it is hard just break it down. Like breaking whole numbers down into fraction. If you know the song and how to play the song then that means you already reherst it and when you two got together it just flowed together like magic.i use a pick because playing with my fingers is just too complaining
Gracias
Adorable, inspirational, exceptional, X 2.
Wow! Love! Thank you!
The most important thing is to enjoy music 🎶👏👏👏👏well said 👍🏻🥂
My words. is just practice and have fun and try to stay confident being a musician. Your doing great girls!!
This is so sweet , all the best to everyone.
Congratulations, congratulations Mr. Alaverdyan for this excellent initiative, what a beautiful moment of sharing with our two young prodigies in Yoyo and Ellen. I hope they will collaborate together once to make us appreciate their immense talents.
It is hard to understand how prodigies exist but they sure do. What is your theory? They just seem to know before they know.🤨
@@davidmacphee8348 Excellent question, it's very difficult to answer that but I think it's just innate in them. But this is only a theory that I express.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Ellen's father. Ellen, of course, has the world as her oyster. However, just wanted her father to get well deserved kudos!
Great interview
They got a band together now if they keep the Kids Rock for Kids thing going but since they are from all over the country probably all have their own things going on. Yoyoka and Ellen should play together more, great rhythm section.
I hope someday Elen gets to meet Tal Wilkenfeld. A video of the meeting might be too much to ask for.
Renewed faith in humanity in action. Thanks Lord! Every little bit helps
