I’ve watched other wheelie tutorials before and this is one of the best. You actually make me understand it going through each step and highlighting the back brake use.
I'm actually really scared with the clutch thing because when I'm clutching in an give too much gas the bike will throw itself in the sky and I can't do anything.
Just subscribed and love your tutorial as I’ve always wanted to learn but I live in a country with messed up roads. I just wanted to ask is it easier to tap the brake before giving it revs and releasing the clutch, would it help getting the front up?
Damn it was the crash bars? Shit I'm just gonna stick to my old motto of "my fairings are my sliders" because at least the plastic absorbs a bit of the crushing force. Its never fun to break bones underneath your own bike, speaking from experience. Hope he gets back on 2 wheels soon👊
Is your bike you are using here the restricted model? I have the restricted LA model in Australia and at 7000-8000rpm I haven't been able to get the front wheel off the ground. Although after watching I am guessing maybe I am taking to long to let the clutch out? Should I literally be letting it out without slowing it at all right after I pull the throttle to 8k?
I know I’m 2 years late I probably won’t get a reply but how should I be seated when I’m doing a wheelie because I tend to sit really close due to fear of falling
It’s all personal preference once you get the hang of it, when I was starting out I would try to sit as far back as possible to lift the bike easier. Once you practice that over and over, eventually you will be able to sit however you like and just pop it up like it’s nothing. Keep practicing man, cover the rear brake, stay safe and have fun! ❤️
Hey, do you pull up your bike when you reales the clutch ? It looks a little bit in the video like that but you didn't really mention it so I am no sure.....😅
2nd gear I don't really pull as much since when you dump the clutch there's enough power to lift the wheel off the ground, with 3rd gear you have to pull up slightly to get the wheel up.
Never had an issue, I did have an o ring perish and had my chain and sprockets replaced a few days ago but that was due to riding through winter and the o ring was kinda messed up to begin with, other than that I did about 14,000 miles on the stock change including wheelies and it was still fine, I just wanted to get a nice new clean one :)
well... to the strip tomorrow it is lol
Lets get it bro #FxckAVERAGE baby!!!

Are you reving it before you drop the clutch? Or as you drop the clutch?
Rev then drop the clutch

Sucks about the crash, was anyone recording when it happened?
Nope, thankfully not either, it was really bad.
Is your speed reading in KPH or MPH?
MPH
Also is it flashed or stock?
Stock
Weird question but does the MT07 squeak when u get on it? Nice vid tho.
Yeah lol thank you man :)

Skrrrr
Just curious... Over the course of learning how to wheelie, have you had any issues with your chain or sprockets?

Still alive reevy?
Somehow lol 😈💜🤙🏻
Is the back brake necessary on the mt? I always worry I’m going to go over backwards but that seems like it will be difficult to do ?
Don’t use it and find out 😉
It’s more than necessary, speaking from witnessing my friend break his leg on his MT-07
Lmao 11:30
