I did not know that they needed permission or had it imprinted on them I have several bibles but I did buy them from good Catholic sources I always make sure that they have the 7 missing books as well

My main Bibles are both RSV-2CE: Great Adventure Catholic Bible and Divine Mercy Bible. I believe all Catholics should be regular Bible-readers.

What do you think of the fact that the notes in the NAB Bible have a doubtful tone. The Bible itself is good but the notes really have a modernist twist.

I recommend the RSV-2CE translation instead, for I find them concerning.
