I told my wife about "this down to earth couple who are easy to listen to and give great advice for people like us". This is tourture!!! I miss Paris so much! We loved our trip last summer. We had a smaller marché than the ones you showed. The salmon I got there for a couple of our meals was of the melt in your mouth variety. Also the Brie de Hauts-de-Seine was awesome! I've never had such a tasty Brie before. What we have here in Québec is sub par in comparison, even the ones we import. The closest was a Brie de Meaux at Fromagerie Hamel in Repentigny, east of Montréal. We've spent a total of 24 days combined on two trips (2007 and 2023) and we've only had one bad meal, on our last day last summer at an Italian restaurant near Javel-André Citroen métro station. Now, for La Bel'ge Frite, I wonder if they would be willing to import cheese curds from Québec and make a poutine gravy. I'm positive a poutine would be the bomb with those frites. C'est certain qu'on va revenir vous rendre visite!!! Salut!!

This was a very useful list for me. I watched it all, and clipped a few that suited me in places where I tend to go. I carry a digital list of good places I want to go, sorted by arrondissement, so that when we get hungry, we don't just pop into a "cool looking" place, but rather we pop into a place we KNOW is gonna be good. The reason I liked this vid so much is that we usually prefer a quick but delicious < 20 euro meal over a slow, long 30 euro sit down. I neither like spending more money, nor more time on a meal. If I want to sit somewhere and enjoy, it's on a terrasse over a coffee or a drink. Even better, I've already been to a lot of those places.

Subscribed! Just got back from a 9 day stay in Paris and silently cried when we were leaving. Such a magical city, amazing people, and the food is spectacular (I don’t have to tell you that haha). We generally eat two meals per day (often one is a salad). We splurge a bit on filming days 🙃

Subscribed! Just got back from a 9 day stay in Paris and silently cried when we were leaving. Such a magical city, amazing people, and the food is spectacular (I don’t have to tell you that haha). We are hoping to move there down the road and will plan to visit once a year until we can swing an international move. Wish I saw your videos before. Definitely will hit these spots up next time.
