yep, ive said that previously, glad you pointed it out. Difference between them? Jordan was subtle doing to Red " johnny" Kerr and they would play jokes back and forth. Lebron? Walks up, makes sure everyone is looking. Making sure the cameras are out recording. Gets the chalk, doesn't even look at the scorers table because he could care less about them. THen he throws it up really high and holds his arms open for the shot and then goes to center court. The " look at me and post" generation.
@purplehayes3965sure, he may have stolen those from Dr. J, but at least those practical skills rather than a walkup spectacle with no real effect on the game or the level of the players' ability to play.
@@POVJAKELiveimpressive is a fair description but you know it falls way short when it comes to over 600 games without losing three straight games. It’s out of this world impressive. We would say it were impossible if it hadn’t been done.
In one way or another, the Detroit Pistons and the Knicks are two fundamental pieces in Jordan's sporting life. We must remember that a winner is as good as his rivals force him to be. If the rivals are weak, the winner does not grow. If the rivals are good, the winner must strive harder to obtain victory... Facing the Pistons and the Knicks every year undoubtedly made him stronger... the duels with John Starks and that mountain of muscles that was Xavier McDaniel were legendary.
@@WALKINGPHONE I'm glad you said that. Jordan was forged by fire. The Pistons and Knicks were fundamental to MJ's story. The Pistons were the reason MJ and the Bulls became unstoppable. MJ/Bulls took those "Ls" early, in his career to them and eventually, took the mantle, once they learned how to overcome the Piston's hyper-aggressive, playstyle. The Knicks were that team that made sure the Bulls didn't get too, comfortable being on top. It was teams like those, that helped build MJ and The Bull's legacy.
In an interview with MJ that aired prior to the ‘92 Finals against the Blazers, MJ stated that he chose not to shoot 3-pointers because it took away from his overall game…and said that he didn’t want to hang around the 3-point line waiting for someone to pass him the ball because he preferred to drive to the basket and draw the defenders into committing a foul so that he could shoot the easy free throw, and if he couldn’t drive to the basket, he preferred to shoot his jump shot if necessary…he was a unique specimen of an athlete.👽😉👍🔥
Yep, the "shrug game" 1 when he scored 35 points in the first half which is still an NBA finals game record (and something very few mention is he actually played only half of the second quarter so actually it is 35 points in a quarter and a half) including 6 of 8 threes (ended up with 6 of 9) . One of the best performances of his career and one of the biggest blowouts in NBA's finals history! When it comes to MJ's performance in the finals there is so much to talk, would be nice if someone makes a video on that. Every Lebron fan should watch it and learn...
That was stated here. I think that was one of the points to FINISH NAILING BRON’s COFFIN @ the end, MJ never losing too much CONSECUTIVELY (like being 4x6)
Appreciate your honest response and taking our advice on this video. I was blessed to see Magic, Kareem and Bird play, i saw MJ and then Kobe and Lebron. True honestly, there was nobody like MJ. The arena, the energy and intense energy and you knew and were waiting for something special. Remember a big fact. Jordan did the bulk of his stats over only ELEVEN YEARS. Let that sink in. One year, out with a broken foot, came back played only 17 games. Another year came back late from baseball only played 24 games. Those are two dead seasons for stats period. SO that leaves then when he came back hurt to play for the wizards at 39 and 40. That is why , his numbers are insaneeeeeeeeeee. Lets be honest, we all know why he got the longevity like many other players in this "softer rules" generation of basketball. Jordan wasn't injured during his years. Durable as all heck and started the whole training for fitness and strength in the nba with trainer Tim Grover (day Jordan retired Kobe called him and hired him) Jordan took care of himself and played all 82 games in 10 seasons. Lebron? He has done it 1 time and just tried to do it NOW and failed . Jordan played all 82 games his last year with the wizards, at 40. This generation of athletes are soft. They made their millions before even stepping on the court. No incentive at all to win. It's a buddy, buddy league, take the three pointer, do the dribble 20 times, one on one and little defense, traveling is almost never called and what an assist is considered now was NEVER an assist in all previous generations of basketball. Now we hear about the whole "workload management" crap LMAOOOO, Seriously? The 90's players didn't need that plus this generation being paid $20-$30-$40million per YEAR. Get their butts on the court. They lazy . Lebron gets a hangnail , needs to sit out for a week. Other players taking weeks off at a time. Lebron half the time doesn't run back on defense as you saw in the video and stilllll doing that current day. Talk about longevity. Anyone in this generation is going to be able to last 20+ seasons with that type of work ethic or lack thereof. Guess when lebron was last on the " All defensive team" ? 2013 and it was for 2nd team all defensive team. Jordan? His last year with the bulls in 98 when he retired at 35 , made all defensive 1st team LOL. It's why i said you had to watch this video and you said it, " it put it into perspective". Im sorry but Lebron is a player during the "internet/social media generation. Hype hype hype hype hype and PAID media to push the Lebron narrative. From ESPN to Klutch sports we have seen and heard the money and people being paid to hype him. There is no questions its been exposed. Honestly for me, i have him in top 10 but not top 5. About the total points record? Just about any scorer playing 22 season will do that. Karl Malone scored more than jordan so did Kobe all time but they played many more season than jordan. Why isn't Karl Malone in the discussion. I'll tell you why, MICHAEL JORDAN. Remember i mentioned Jordan's 11 seasons where the bulk of stats were done? It took lebron and kobe to their 17th SEASONS to pass jordan in all time scoring. So the all time scorer it total points doesn't hold a massive amount of weight when discussing the GOAT. It's all about getting FACTS and putting things into PERSPECTIVE. Look forward to your future videos.
I appreciate when someone looks at everything and admits when they're wrong .. props to you. I wish you would have seen him play.. the eye test would have let you know if you seen him live
A lot of people forget or don't know that jordan retired twice as the best player in the game. He retired in 94, and for 75% of the 95 season. Then he retired again as the best player in 1998. If jordan doesn't retire at minimum he gets another 1-2 rings, 1-2 finals mvps, another three 1st all defensive teams selections, which puts him 3 past everyone else, another 2-3 scoring titles, another 12k points, another 1-2 season mvps. So if he doesn't retire twice in my opinion he finishes with at least 7 season mvps, at least 8 rings, 8 finals mvps, 44k points, 12 1st all defensive selections, 13 scoring titles which he already owns the record of 10. Finishes 2nd in total steals.
I feel guilty that I was able to watch the NBA since 1971 all the way to now. There have been many greats during this time, but the greatest I have seen in all of that time was MJ. He wasn't my favorite player as I was a Laker fan but definitely the goat. The greatest athlete/player of any team sport, I believe. Thanks for the reaction ✌️
In the game against the Cavaliers when MJ dropped 69 points and 18 rebounds, MJ made 2 of 2 three point shots the entire game…he didn’t need the 3-point shot to drop major buckets on the 5th best defense in the NBA back then…and he didn’t need it against the Legendary ‘86 Celtics when he dropped 49 points and then 63 points in the first 2 games of the playoffs after rehabbing his broken foot that season…he’s mythical.🦄
@sportstalkonly1442 lmao the point being is he didn't need a 3 to have the highest average points per game or score more than 3000 points in a season that no one else has done or ten scoring titles....I'm not sure what you're point is because he had an off game 😂😂😂 better luck next time bub
@@MakaveliCVW He doesn't have a point, @sportstalkonly1442 never does. He lurks around Jordan comment sections, regurgitating false narratives and cherry picking stats whilst omitting crucial CONTEXT... Jordan's FULL stat line from that Game 3 VS Boston was... - 19 Points - 10 Rebounds - 9 Assists - 2 Steals - 1 Block - FG% 44.4 Anyone who watched the 3rd game of that series knows that the Celtics SMOTHERED Jordan defensively, they double teamed him consistently throughout that entire game, yet he still produced the stat line above. His overall stats for that Playoff Series VS Boston... - 43.7 Points - 6.3 Rebounds - 5.7 Assists - 2.3 Steals - 1.3 Blocks - FG% 50.5 Not bad for a 2nd Year player coming off a broken foot, with Orlando Woolridge as the Bulls 2nd best player.
I watched in Jordan’s era, and there were great players at every position, some of the best centers ever, best power forwards, shooting guards and point guards, if there was a position that lacked talent overall in that era it might have been the small forward. Even then, there was some great ones.
that's just on stats. but if you had to add the human factor, like the passion for the game, respect for the game, professionalism, competitiveness, dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, fear it brings to his opponent, the excitement he brought to the game, the shot creativity, the difference is even more glaring
Lebron has air balled from the free throw line 9 times in his career.. that, plus load management and taking vacation days on the defensive end, is what kills it for me.
All of these LeBron vs Jordan videos are in super slow-mo. If you watch Jordan highlights in real time vs Lebron's is clear that Jordan from the eye test is the better player.
Ive been saying for many years that LeBron fans actually do a disservice to LeBron by constantly trying to compare him to MJ. Some of the things MJ did are basically untouchable. I blame the sports media for gaslighting so many people. You can't fully hate on them for hyping LeBron so much. They have to sell the product and they will say whatever they have to whether it's true or not.
The end when you are struggling with having to admit Jordan was the GOAT had me laughing, it was like “should I admit water is wet? I mean I was just drenched in water and it is gonna take a long time for me to dry off…but is water really wet?! I still don’t know…. Ok water is wet.”
Please react to the 1992 Dream Team Documentary! You will enjoy it and see and hear from other Greats/Hall of Fame players about what THEY experienced with Jordan.
You should watch Magic and Bird courtship of rivals before this one. You should totally see them both, but the magic and bird documentary should be first.
Bill's not in the conversation for the same reason LeBron should never have been.... When you see "MJ" it looks "MAGICAL" or "OTHERWORLDLY".....Some people can practice or work on their game to be "Great" but there are others that are ...."GIFTED" and that's "MJ".
Toss up with the chalk is LAME LBJ stole that from MJs pregame ritual and just spammed and fan girled it by making it extra metro with throwing it in the air smh. Legendary not at all just a poser doing poser things as lbj always does.
Bill Russell is always in the Top 5 of Big Men. For me it’s not about being physically dominant, but about skill level and unique abilities. Russell in any era is a defensive Monster and would adapt to the talent level of the game. Hakeem “The Dream” is the most talented Center I’ve ever seen. He’s second best after MJ in all around elite status.
@@POVJAKELiveyes over shaq,Kareem never got swept 6x like shaq,Kareem hook shot was unblockable and he could pull it off any time, remember Hakeem schooled shaq in the finals in 94 with ease so yea Kareem is better than shaq by far
Good video! Bill Russell is tied with MJ as my goat. The more I learn about him the more inspiring he becomes. One of the greatest humans to exist let alone basketball players. I highly recommend a Bill deep dive, unfortunately it won’t get the views of lebron or mj but so important for the context of the rest of bball history Subscribed excited to see what you do next!
First of all, thank you for your video. You also let us know that you know too little information about MJ. The more you study MJ, the more you can understand why he is the GOAT and the eternal GOAT . He shines alone in the distant universe🌟💫 There is no comparison.
Penny was the first combination of MJ and Magic with finishing power like Dominique. Penny was my 2nd favorite player after MJ. Then LeBron was that similar combo, and Penny was his favorite also. Bron should’ve avoided the 23 hype and aimed for the Magic Johnson comparison.
I wouldnt pick Lebron over MJ, Larry, Magic, or Kareem.. Maybe not even Kobe.. he got some really ugly warts on his resume despite all that greatness. double sided coin.
@@sportstalkonly1442 not AS many warts as Lebron tho.. he AIR BALLS FREE THROWS.. at least 9 times in his career. Bird, Jordan, NEVER did that.. their low lights are VERY FEW.. Lebron has TOO MANY LOW LIGHTS..

But, because you showed maturity in seeing the facts and not denying it (like FemitoDrippy), and because you accepted the truth like a man, you not only earned my respect by also my subscribing to your channel. Oh Jordan is better than young or LeBron but if they would show young Jordan, it is over there’s not even a conversation which there shouldn’t be anyways, because LeBron does not compare to Jordan in any way shape or form
2:11 By the end of this video, you realize that none of that matters, what Lebron footage you show. Call Lebron footage, 4x6. MJ footage is always PROOF (that 6x0 exists) 3:08 is a nail in Lebron’s coffin, calling himself the GOAT FOR WINNING THAT ONE TIME (to Jordan’s S I X wins). I’m from Pittsburgh and OHIO fkd up letting BEN GO, so I know what’s up now. Lebron better put that on his headstone, “I’M GREAT” because that’s as far as it goes💯
Jordan missed a total of 6 games in that 6 championship winning years. He scored more 40 and 50 point games than the entire Chicago Bulls franchise in its history
@POVJAKELive more than impressive my brother That's goated Another unbelievable stat from the the goat is that his rookie season numbers are basically the same as Kobe's MVP season numbers 😲🤯 Goated
Jordan never saw a three point line until he got to the nba. It wasn't put in college until 87. And a large portion of the threes he took were buzzer beaters from wherever he was on the court. He shot threes for one half of one game. Game 1 of the 92 finals. He finished that half with 35 points on 6-8 from 3.
Imagine Bird's 3-point numbers if he grew up practicing shooting 3's since high school instead of his rookie year as a pro? The 3-point shot made its debut same year as Bird's rookie season. Back then 3-pointer was more of a strategic weapon...now, it's a joke. LeFraud ruined the game for me...watch his videos of him flopping and taking 5 steps but the refs are scared to call him for traveling. There's not 1 NBA team since Kobe and Shaq's Lakers that could hang with Barkley's or Dr J and Moses Malone's 76er's, Bird's Celtics, MJ's Bulls, the Bad Boy Pistons or Magic's Lakers...it was a completely different game. The only thing today's game and the games back then have in common is that the ball goes through a hoop.
On some real shit lebron never surpassed Kobe… lebrons a great but way too overhyped… Kobe and MJ were them dudes you don’t wanna see in most situations 💯
I will say this.... I can't deny Bron is a great player but there have been alot of great players. Bird, Kobe, Wilt, Pippen.... and so on. However, the Greatest..... is Jordan in my opinion. loved the video brother, great commentary. keep it up.
They also forgot to say in this video, that Michael Jordan played all 82 games 9×, LeBron only did it once. I also say that LeBron is a phenomenal player. The player in NBA history is and always will be Michael Jordan.
I am old enough to have watched Jordan's Bulls. I was young and not a basketball fan, but when he came back from baseball, I HAD to watch the bulls because at some level, even as a non-basketball fan, I understood that I was watching something great. As in once in several lifetimes great. LeBron is great, but not several lifetimes great. Cheers!
They wrote a song dedicated to the great MJ's skill set & the man played 🏀 w/his tongue hanging out 😝😛, what r we really talking a/b🤔..........6RINGZ!!
Bill Russell did win 11 championships but true hoop heads who know history understand that back in Bull Russells era there were less than 11 teams in the whole association. Also the regular season games played were less than 82 games a season. So although Bill Russell does have the most rings its basically apples vs oranges because of rule changes, amount of teams and fewer regular season games. It doesnt really translate well when Jordan had more games to play versus alot more teams than Bill Russell ever had to play against.
The reasons why Bill Russell isn't in the GOAT conversation are: 1. He played in the early NBA. Prior to the golden era of the NBA, and before games were broadcasted on network TV 2. He was not the primary scorer for his team. He was the defensive anchor. It's difficult for the media to sell a defensive anchor as the greatest player of all time, as viewers are enamored with scoring more so than defense. 3. The traditional big man has fallen out of favor in the modern NBA. So the media tries to promote perimeter players. This is also the reason why Wilt is no longer mentioned in the GOAT convo either. To me, Russell deserves to be in the GOAT convo. People use the excuse that Russell always had the best teams when he played. Well number 1, the best team doesn't always win the title. And also, Russell didn't always have the best teams. After 1965, Russell's Celtics were no longer considered the title favorites. But Russell still led them to two more titles, with the last one being as player/coach. Russell also won two NCAA titles in the three college seasons he played. Meaning he won 13 titles in the 16 seasons he played in college and the NBA combined!
Bill Russell career high average ppg is 18! That’s part of the reason. When he won those chips it was only 8 teams in the league if I remember correctly.
The best modern equivalent I can think of is KG. Averaged 17ppg but the impact was felt far beyond points. Wilt averaged up to 50 but Bill stopped him time and time again. With 8 teams that means every team is deep. Imagine if there were 8 today, every team would be a super duper team
@@badat2k191 You can't really make that comparison b/c the money involved is different now than it was back then. There were only 2 or 3 teams that were "stacked" and Russell was on one of them. Teams are much more stacked in the modern era especially with how there's basically no loyalty now and superstars join each other to create super teams.
Sorry for a second comment, but I just got to your comment about 3-point shooting. MJ was a 33% 3 pt shooter as mentioned. He refused to practice his 3 point shooting because “he didn’t want to be a player who floated to the 3-point line because that would take away from his aggressiveness going to the basket. BUT… when it mattered the most, Jordan rose to the occasion without practicing. His 3-point percentage in the NBA Finals was 38.
The quote in the beginning was Walter Payton the greatest RB of all time!!! Also LeChoke James throwing the chalk in the air is just 1 more thing he copied from Michael Jordan!!
Bill russell is considered 1 of the best winners, but as for goats, it's because he faced far fewer teams, and most werent great players who had other jobs.
Bill Russell avg 18 pts a game with a 43 percent fg% for his career as a Center in the NBA R.i.p. Bill Russell. He was a great player but those stats above automatically disqualifies him 🤷
Bill Russell average 15 points in the NBA and a great defender but not a great offensive player MJ average 30 points per game and won DPOTY in the same year MJ was a two-way player guys like KD James Harden Luka Tray only play 1 side of the ball
We need more people like you who go into it as a LeBron fan and accept fact that Jordan is the goat. I saw him play as a bulls player when I was young. I saw him play as a wizards player where he had a stretch of like 6 games where he averaged 43 pts 5reb 5assists before being injured. You can even tell as a wizards player he had it but his body just couldn’t handle it anymore. I’ve seen LeBron James play all of his career and trust me he’s great but there’s no comparison.
Nice to see more young people watch those kind of videos and LEARN. It can be confusing and hard but you will free yourself from the delusion. Lebron is a great player, imo WAS, but he was never on the level of MJ and actually quite a lot of other old-time greats. Just watch more 80-90's games and forget what the mass media is telling you. You will make the difference/ Cheers
15:27 ? I feel bill is often dismissed because he was more of a defensive specialist but he stopped wilt, jerry, and drj from multiple championships, so for me he's a goat center of the NBA
Let me add something to think about: LeBron won his first title with Wade and Bosh. His 2nd was with Kyrie and K-Love. His last one was with an up-and-coming Kuzma and AD. In the video, the narrator mentions how the Warriors, as great as they were never won 3 straight championships. The Bulls did it twice. Those Warriors teams had Steph, Klay and KD, not to mention Iguodala coming off the bench. So you see how all of LeBron’s teams and even the Warriors were carried by multiple superstars. In Michael Jordan’s entire career, he had exactly one other teammate ever make an All-Star game: Scottie Pippen is the only one. And see, Pippen was incredible, but he was never THE guy… he was always the perfect complementary player but there really was no such thing as MJ having a tough night and Pippen going for 40. In the Bulls 6 Finals, they beat the Magic/Worthy/Byron Scott Lakers, the Drexler/Porter/Duckworth Blazers, the Barkley/Kevin Johnson/Marjele Suns, the Gary Payton/Shawn Kemp/Detlef Schrempf Sonics and then the Karl Malone/John Stockton/Jeff Hornacek Jazz the last 2. Every one of those teams had multiple All-Stars…. None of them could ever defeat Michael.
The problem is that everyone who didn't *_Experience_* Michael "Air" Jordan, takes the stories of him as a sleight *_against_* some other player... and it's not... it's just that Jordan *REALLY WAS **_THAT GUY_* That one in a *_Trillion_* that makes even *_AMAZING_* players... look... Normal... but they're NOT normal, they are, Lebron included, they are *_AMAZING_* ... it's just that Jordan... was *_INHUMAN!!!_* He *_STILL_* has the highest Vertical the NBA ever saw... even with the upgrades in nutrition/training/etc.... He just *IS* that guy.
Bill Russell: he IS in the conversation. MJ is the GOAT for me but I'll respect anyone who has Bill, Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Duncan in a fluid 1-6. It's Lebron who doesn't skip the line! Everyone on Rushmore or should be, has a Dynasty and 3 of them have a 3-peat. Lebron stans say 8 straight finals. Bill Russell did that too, except he won all of them.
LBJ is a great player, no one will say he wasn't but when he went to sleep in the finals vs Dallas, I was like no way he's the GOAT. MJ never wanted to play with other greats, he wanted to beat them unlike LBJ. It's refreshing to see someone as young as you with an open mind that can admit when he's wrong and I loved your emotions while you were explaining yourself. Keep doing what you're doing because I'll be watching.
Respect for keeping it real at the end. It is what it is when it;s all broke down for you. You got my sub, bro! Looking forward to watching more great videos. Have you done Hockey yet??? You def need to check that out. I'm gonns check your vids. Great reaction.
Michael Jordan said that he didn't focus on three-point shots because it would take away from his other skills. In my opinion, the three-point shot is now ruining the NBA. Today's players are better three-point shooters, but a lot of players lack the other skills that Jordan mastered. Hey POV Jake...Go buy a new pair of Jordans. They'll make you feel better.
Don’t feel bad…. In 30 years… people will still be studying Jordan videos and how he play. Also the video forgot to mention one more intangible Jordan got… the HANG TIME. No one has all he has and the hang time.
Jordan set a 3 point record in the playoff finals against the blazers! Most in a quarter, a half and tied for most in a game!! Bill Russel wasn’t a 2 way player! Didn’t have any scoring titles Also the playoffs had 2 rounds for best of 2 games, There was also only 10 teams in the entire league!
I actually have Bill Russell #4 all time on my GOAT list after Jordan, Kareem and Magic. Russell has a strong case for being the GOAT. Especially when it comes to the winning criteria. However, because of his modest scoring output in an era of inflated stats, it hurts his GOAT case. Jordan has the best overall GOAT case IMO, using the 5 criteria covered in the video.
I keep saying this. They beat Jordan up. Literally said, stop him by putting him on the floor. Game after game while he was the champ. Meaning the best of the teams played like that, and he still played in every game and won. Longevity and durability can not be compared when the game is that different. Labron doesn't even give his fans his best in every game. He doesn't play in every game. We have all seen him turn it on and be a unstoppable monster one game then look absolutely lost the next. No he should not have to play every game like he played the Pistons or Celtics. That man has a family to go home to and a career to maintain but for those of us who know that's what Jordan put on the line day after day to win. Thats why he's different. For the three point shooting watch the game everybody said Clyde Drexler was better. Jordan took that game to show he can shoot the three.
Why is it that LBJ fans know so little about sports history let alone basketball history? Walter Payton was one of the greatest running backs in NFL history...
Russell is certainly top 10 all-time, and many would say top 5 The detractor keeping him from GOAT is less competition in his era… and he was mostly a defensive player. Amazing athlete, perhaps the greatest defender all-time… but less potent on offense His stat line is 15/23/4, 44% shooting, 56% Free Throws (not a very good shooter)
One thing that gets overlooked when the video goes into stats is the attempts. For instance when he says MJ led league in Win shares 8 times he’s not mentioning it was 8 times out of 13 seasons. While Lebron at that point in his career he only led the league in win shares 5 out of 17 times. That is a huge gap.
You might already know this...and I don't mean to rub salt in the wound...but LeBron's legendary chalk toss was another thing LeBron did to copy Jordan. Jordan had a funny routine before games where he would chalk his hands and then clap chalk as he was walking past the scorers table. It was more nuanced and humorous than a straight up "toss" but it was a famous chalk related pregame ritual where Jordan clapped chalk in a big cloud right in front of the announcers. The announcers (Johnny Red Kerr, etc) would play along -- each game they would interact with Jordan during the chalk cloud routine...they would pop umbrellas open at the last moment or put on face masks to block the chalk cloud. It was funny and the crowd looked forward to the chalk routine every game. Sorry...again, really not trying to gloat. But Jordan did that, too. Thank you so much for another great video! I'm having a great time today enjoying your Jordan reactions. Love your work...thanks again. 😇
Don't feel bad. When you didn't see MJ play and you grew up watching LeBron, you don't have anything to really compare with. You can only go with what you have witnessed. The majority of people that rank MJ as the GOAT actually saw him on the court as well as seeing LeBron on the court so they can look at the debate in a different light.
Answer that Bill Russell question, he’s not in the conversation, because although he won more, Chamberlain was the better player. The 61-62 season was Russell’s best statistical year when he averaged 19 (career high 👀) and 24 rebounds… that’s the year at Wilt averaged, 50 and 26.
You said Lebron’s power toss is legendary. Guess where LBJ got that from and he just switched it around? MJ🐐 Mike used to do a powder thing where he used so much and it used to get all over the guys sitting there. So it became a thing in which they would wait for him to come and get ready. One time they had on gas masks and another time they held up umbrellas. Long story short Lebron got the powder move from MJ🐐 He just switched it around. 💯
I am laughing as he says the toss up with the chalk is Legendary and doesn't know LeBron stole that from Jordan also.😂

Props to you for admitting the truth. Wish were alive to see cause believe me if you saw what we saw live, this isn't even a debate, great video

Players have had the potential to be the GOAT, but whether bigger or smaller none have matched the all around game of Jordan.
the way to properly see the championship question is this: it took Jordan less tries to get more rings.
Man stop with the ifs. He didn't. So you can stop with the hypotheticals
Thanks "I TRULY RESPECT YOU YOUNG MAN"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I feel guilty that I was able to watch the NBA since 1971 all the way to now. There have been many greats during this time, but the greatest I have seen in all of that time was MJ. He wasn't my favorite player as I was a Laker fan but definitely the goat. The greatest athlete/player of any team sport, I believe. Thanks for the reaction ✌️
Jordan's "Top 5" has Michael picking Larry over LeBron whenever Michael is asked for his picks.
Jordan love white folks😂😂
In the game against the Cavaliers when MJ dropped 69 points and 18 rebounds, MJ made 2 of 2 three point shots the entire game…he didn’t need the 3-point shot to drop major buckets on the 5th best defense in the NBA back then…and he didn’t need it against the Legendary ‘86 Celtics when he dropped 49 points and then 63 points in the first 2 games of the playoffs after rehabbing his broken foot that season…he’s mythical.🦄
How about game 3 when he dropped 19 on 18 shots?
@sportstalkonly1442 lmao the point being is he didn't need a 3 to have the highest average points per game or score more than 3000 points in a season that no one else has done or ten scoring titles....I'm not sure what you're point is because he had an off game 😂😂😂 better luck next time bub
@@MakaveliCVW He doesn't have a point, @sportstalkonly1442 never does. He lurks around Jordan comment sections, regurgitating false narratives and cherry picking stats whilst omitting crucial CONTEXT...

- 19 Points
- 10 Rebounds
- 9 Assists
- 2 Steals
- 1 Block
- FG% 44.4
Anyone who watched the 3rd game of that series knows that the Celtics SMOTHERED Jordan defensively, they double teamed him consistently throughout that entire game, yet he still produced the stat line above.
His overall stats for that Playoff Series VS Boston...
- 43.7 Points
- 6.3 Rebounds
- 5.7 Assists
- 2.3 Steals

Not bad for a 2nd Year player coming off a broken foot, with Orlando Woolridge as the Bulls 2nd best player.
Jordan started the powder toss up with "Red" Kerr, who was a Bulls' announcer at the time. Jordan gave him the powder every home game.
@@skyking-a10-brrrt61 didn’t kno that 😅
They wore a gas mask once because of it, it was hilarious
It became a thing they did. Jonny Red would have a umbrella or fan. Everything he does has been to copy MJ. Except his game of course.

Pour yourself a drink and just watch some of MJ's games. As a basketball fan, you'll enjoy yourself. I promise 👍👍👍

Mike D’Antoni when coaching the Suns (I believe) started the 3pt wave that teams adopted. He took the Bigs out of the paint and valued 3’s over 2’s.
Bill's not in the conversation for the same reason LeBron should never have been.... When you see "MJ" it looks "MAGICAL" or "OTHERWORLDLY".....Some people can practice or work on their game to be "Great" but there are others that are ...."GIFTED" and that's "MJ".

Bill Russell is always in the Top 5 of Big Men. For me it’s not about being physically dominant, but about skill level and unique abilities.
Russell in any era is a defensive Monster and would adapt to the talent level of the game.

Bill Russell is in the conversation, he was considered #1 for a long time. Russell also did it under threat of death in the civil rights era.
Jordan missed a total of 6 games in that 6 championship winning years. He scored more 40 and 50 point games than the entire Chicago Bulls franchise in its history
@@shaheempashua6924 that’s impressive 💯
@POVJAKELive more than impressive my brother That's goated
Another unbelievable stat from the the goat is that his rookie season numbers are basically the same as Kobe's MVP season numbers 😲🤯 Goated
“When you're good at something, you'll tell everyone. When you're great at something, they'll tell you.”
― Walter Payton

Cheers!

22:21 had me dyin. 🤣🤣🤣
Problem is the younger generation is brainwashed by media and have no idea how dominant Jordan was and how he has Soo much more skill then LeBron
And that team was stacked!
Bill was playing with little white boys😂😂😂
The reasons why Bill Russell isn't in the GOAT conversation are:
1. He played in the early NBA. Prior to the golden era of the NBA, and before games were broadcasted on network TV
2. He was not the primary scorer for his team. He was the defensive anchor. It's difficult for the media to sell a defensive
anchor as the greatest player of all time, as viewers are enamored with scoring more so than defense.
3. The traditional big man has fallen out of favor in the modern NBA. So the media tries to promote perimeter players.
This is also the reason why Wilt is no longer mentioned in the GOAT convo either.
To me, Russell deserves to be in the GOAT convo. People use the excuse that Russell always had the best teams when he
played. Well number 1, the best team doesn't always win the title. And also, Russell didn't always have the best teams. After
1965, Russell's Celtics were no longer considered the title favorites. But Russell still led them to two more titles, with the last
one being as player/coach. Russell also won two NCAA titles in the three college seasons he played. Meaning he won 13 titles
in the 16 seasons he played in college and the NBA combined!
Look at the scores of those games when they highlight LeBron’s free throw struggles. That goes into the “clutch” factor.
It's wild to me that lebron even gets compared to jordan and people put him over kobe 😂
Bill Russell avg 18 pts a game with a 43 percent fg% for his career as a Center in the NBA
Dude you are accurate about Mike practicing shooting 3 if it were more important to him to score from 3.
It's fun watching young bloods getting a reality check. 😅
Michael Jordan #1❤
Salute bro 🫡
Lebron is an ALL TIME great. But Michael is on a completely different planet than any other player.
The problem is that everyone who didn't *_Experience_* Michael "Air" Jordan, takes the stories of him as a sleight *_against_* some other player... and it's not... it's just that Jordan *REALLY WAS **_THAT GUY_* That one in a *_Trillion_* that makes even *_AMAZING_* players... look... Normal... but they're NOT normal, they are, Lebron included, they are *_AMAZING_* ... it's just that Jordan... was *_INHUMAN!!!_*
He *_STILL_* has the highest Vertical the NBA ever saw... even with the upgrades in nutrition/training/etc.... He just *IS* that guy.
Bron can still be your favorite player, Hes Just not MJ nobody is....everyone wanna be like Mike
Jordan's signature was the tongue out, LeBrons is flopping
To be honest, a more apt comparison is LeBron vs Kobe, and LeBron will still lose.
Don’t feel bad…. In 30 years… people will still be studying Jordan videos and how he play. Also the video forgot to mention one more intangible Jordan got… the HANG TIME. No one has all he has and the hang time.
What's worse is the guy didn't even include the flopping and crying 😂
Michigan Fab Five changed the dress. Everybody else followed.
Jordan set a 3 point record in the playoff finals against the blazers! Most in a quarter, a half and tied for most in a game!!
Bill Russel wasn’t a 2 way player!
Didn’t have any scoring titles
Also the playoffs had 2 rounds for best of 2 games,
There was also only 10 teams in the entire league!
I actually have Bill Russell #4 all time on my GOAT list after Jordan, Kareem and Magic.
Russell has a strong case for being the GOAT. Especially when it comes to the winning
criteria. However, because of his modest scoring output in an era of inflated stats, it hurts
his GOAT case. Jordan has the best overall GOAT case IMO, using the 5 criteria covered in
the video.
Russell is certainly top 10 all-time, and many would say top 5
The detractor keeping him from GOAT is less competition in his era… and he was mostly a defensive player. Amazing athlete, perhaps the greatest defender all-time… but less potent on offense
His stat line is 15/23/4, 44% shooting, 56% Free Throws (not a very good shooter)
Don’t worry about the GOAT, no matter what, it doesn’t change your opinion of LeBron being your favorite player.
😇
Longevity is meaningless in today's no touch cupcake era

Honestly? If you had to have someone make a last second shot to save your LIFE, you’re going with Larry Joe Bird. And it’s not even a debate.
Oh, and none of the finals series Jordan won went to a game 7. All six were in 5-6 games. Dominance!
MJ🐐
Mike used to do a powder thing where he used so much and it used to get all over the guys sitting there. So it became a thing in which they would wait for him to come and get ready. One time they had on gas masks and another time they held up umbrellas. Long story short Lebron got the powder move from MJ🐐 He just switched it around. 💯
