I’m a knitter and love knitting lace but I have never tried Shetland lace knitting. I just found out about this kal! I’m going to follow this and who knows I may jump in!!!! I may use lace weight yarn instead, would that work? Thank you so much for hosting.
It would work, but you’ll have to recalculate the edging and probably do fewer repeats of the centre
I got the chart and then I watched this again and that made so much more sense especially about that yellow triangle!!!!!!!!! 1st time dcd, 2nd time dcd and the 3rd time k2tog, right? Thank you and Patric for explaining!

On row 6, not the triangel but the left leaning decrease by the 3 side stiches or 2
If there is 1 yo next to it then it’s single decrease, if there are 2 yo, one on each side, then it’s a double decrease
