I’m working on a baby blanket that is a ripple pattern with garter ridges in a contrast color in between. The contrast color is a very intense blue-green, and I have been wondering if color archers will help while blocking. I’m super worried about the dark color bleeding onto the ripple stripes.
I would rinse the dark blue yarn before you knit and let any extra dye wash out. You might have to rinse 4 or 5 times. And use colour catchers after that.

I had one project destroyed that way. Color catchers definitely help

I just use eucalan
How do you determine the number to put in?
One should be enough for similar colors, a couple if colors are really contrasting.
