Just purchased these from Home Depot. They are great quality and I'm very impressed with the color changing capabilities. After my purchase, I realized that Amazon sells the exact item for about $30 cheaper!
I have had this set for a while and they worked great but now they cycle through the colors when I turn it on and then shut off. I've tried all the usual things, disconnected power, removed the remote batteries, tried holding the power button with other buttons to see if there's a reset. When it's cylcing through the lights the remote won't turn it off. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, any ideas how to fix it? Thanks.
Because they're for patios and verandas. Party lights that you can string across a courtyard but also look cool hung between two palm tress. OR maybe strung along a roof. I have two "24" foot strands and LOVE THEM. Dave, these are also "production party and event lights" and that's how they are spaced and strung out. Buy some, check them out and if you don't like them then return them. They would be cool on a boat also. So I have 24 lights on 48 feet and it looks cool hanging along the roof. Love them for the back yard, they're bright or you can dim them down low. Eight dimming settings for the solid light colors and the two channel colors. The pre sets do not dim and are nice and bright. Good for parties.

Can these lights work if I don't have the remote control?

On the remote control to the right they have four colors, one is white. :)
