Wanted to share my experience with cafe rgb lights I purchased in 2019. The lights worked fine for years but then suddenly stopped. I tried all combinations of efforts to make them work again. Finally called Enbrighten/Jasco and they said the transformer is bad "for some reason" and it did not fall under the lifetime warranty. I asked if there was a way to repair the system as these lights were very expensive. The representative said, no, that I would need to purchase new lights. Well at the cost of these lights and the limited functionality compared to Govee, I wont be purchasing more again. So I decided to open the plastic to get at the electronics to see what had happened. After getting the plastic enclosure, there is a white plastic box which holds the transformer. Upon opening, the transformer was soaking wet. I noticed the screws that hold the plastic together were rusted, and was the probable culprit where the water had entered. A design flaw. The other issue I saw was that the electronics were encased in an unbreakable black plastic which makes the electronics impossible to remove and repair. So in the dumpster it will go, unfortunately. Hope this helps others in the future on their purchases or issues with Enbrighten. I am moving to the Govee platform for more versatility in my lighting designs. Good luck everyone.
